If you don't like carvery there seems to be an all day option of the likes of Chicken Nuggets(big tenders) and Chips. They don't have ginger beer though! The staff are great, considering the size of the bar they keep everything running smoothly. We asked a member of staff for advice on what to do while visiting and she immediately sent over a local employee who gave us some tips. Although we just ended up staying in Hardy's all evening. They serve food, it's a more casual dining experience than the hotel restaurant serving up burgers and wings - more traditional pub grub. I can't fault the bar at all - it was really busy when we visited, which I imagine it would be most evenings. Don't bother venturing in to town before trying this bar out!

I noticed the bistro part had an open fire and was really cosy but I wasn't sure if we're able to sit there because we were only ordering drinks. The bar had a great selection of drinks and shots which explained the sore head the next day. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant but the food that was being delivered to other tables looked delicious!
