Really 3 1/2 stars
This wasn't the worst pizza we have ever had but not our best either.
I found this place via yelp and even though there was only one review and it wasn't the best I still chose to come here for one reason only. It was a shorter walk from our hotel than the other pizza place I wanted to try. We were just so very tired. So we went.
It's a cute place, very industrial like with metal and wood surroundings. The waitress was delightful and was helpful with things that we didn't know what they were.
I got the #4 pizza - Prosciutto, artichokes, buffalo mozzarella, tomato sauce and covered with what they call rocket and what we call arugula.
The crust was nice and thin like I like it, but a flimsy bottom that wasn't crispy. The sauce was just tomato sauce and no flavor, the prosciutto was put on after it was in the oven so it wasn't cooked and it was cold (and too much of it) and the most disappointing part was the pizza wasn't high with a nice gooy mozzarella..... this pizza has the makings to be very good but lacking in the flavor department.
My husband got his usual..... pepperoni.... boring! He said it was good, the pepperoni is different than we have here. Peppery in flavor. He had the same issues with his pizza as I did. Not hot. Pepperoni was almost like it was put on after it was cooked.
All in all not the worst meal we had in Ireland and not the worst pizza we have ever had. So try this place out and request a well done pizza and see if it comes out more cooked and hot.
