Pizza

Love platform. It's so yummmmm Deffo an epic spot for hangover meal with the gals. Pizza, wings and sides. Cud Ya ask for anything better?!? Last time was here got the anti pasta plate to start, Peppo pizza for main and baked cheesecake for desert. Not rele that adventurous I know, but the pizza was key. Really crispy thin crust, which is just the way I like it. Baked cheese cake was best I've had in a while. So vanillaish. Cwaffffe was top notch too. Cheap, modern, good qual food. No complaints :)

Delish!!! Just wing it - bootleg boneless BBQ chicken, blue cheese & mozzarella

Another review of Platform Pizza... I can't give anything but a five! We brought my fiancé's little brother this time. Thanks to a delay in finishing our drinks at Brew Dock on Amiens Street we missed a DART and ended up being 15 minutes late but there was no issue raised which I find really impressive. We were sat across from the entrance to Narnia (the toilet!) so got a better photo of it this time :) For starters we shared some of the boneless chicken wings. We chose the Bootleg (sweet smoky BBQ sauce) and Caribbean Jerk (Mellow Jamaican Jerk seasoning) wings... They were sweet, tangy and had just a little kick. They went really nice with the Craigie's Ballyhook Flyer cider I drank to start. For main I ordered the same pizza as last time - goats cheese, mozzarella, pancetta, walnuts and maple syrup. I should really apologise to them again - I'm so fussy as I don't like tomato sauce based pizza and so I ordered it without. Unfortunately it came out with tomato sauce. They had no problem at all swapping it over - they really were so good about it but I still feel guilty as I hate being one of "those" people that make a fuss. We also got a side of the sweet potato fries - crispy, sweet and so yum. The pizza was as good as first visit so the food is consistently excellent. There were three v clean boards. Then it came to dessert. Fiancé's brother wanted the pecan pie but I suggested ordering the Nutella pizza. I didn't realise it was so big until we were ordering it and Kate (I think that was her name, she was excellent!) advised that it's the size of their pizzas with a slightly different base. We agreed we'd share that between the three of us and if there was any left then we could take the rest home. The pizza is served with strawberries and ice cream... I am not ashamed to tell you there was none to bring home in the box - another empty board! It was absolutely amazing - chocolate lover's nirvana!!! The second visit (its actually my third visit it a quick stop to pick up a takeaway pizza counts) was as good if not better than our first. I can only tell you that the food is delicious, the staff are lovely and it's well worth a visit out of the city to try here!

We discovered this little gem of a place on our way back to the dart station in Bray. Unassuming at first we noticed once we went inside how quirky and conversationally different this place is. The toilets are through a wardrobe and even being inside the toilets makes you want to linger a while to read the newspaper articles on the wall. At least here you don't need to bring your own reading material, they supply it! I ordered the flatbread with falafel and rocket and they also added some chorizo at no extra cost! Also it only cost €7 so was real good value. My daughters shared a kids pizza which was only €6 and i'm so glad i didn't order two of them as it was huge! The waiter that served us was very nice and helpful, he was patient with the gang of us and had no problem serving us outside as we had a wee westie with us.

Pizza and craft beer and views of the waterfront makes me a happy girl. Ok there may have been an annoying fun fair blocking my view but I could picture it without! We stopped here by accident but very glad we did. This place is cool enough to be hipster but friendly enough that families walk in and don't care. I'm a big fan of (proper) pizza and Platform was just about up there! First time having vegan pizza and I would eat over and over again. Definitely one to go back to...but probably only after the screaming amusements have left town.

5/5 Best pizza I've ever tried. Traveled to Bray from Dundalk specially to try here and I will be making the journey again. Unreal selection on the menu. I got the spelt flour base on my pizza, so tasty and not as filling as the usual base which was brilliant as I ordered a lot of food. Buffalo chicken wings on the bone are a must I shared them with my mum as a side with our main course, we also got the sweet potato fries and Aioli dip, very tasty. For dessert I tried the Nutella pizza, so delicious and amazing for any chocolate lover. Definitely get to share between a few people as it's very filling but of course satisfying. Platform over all is 'hunreal' food for a good price and real friendly staff. Worth the journey.

I have indeed returned to Platform and it was just as good as before! Still haven't ordered a pizza (oops) but the chicken wings I had were delish. I will say that I wish I'd ordered the traditional instead of the boneless because they seemed more like soft chicken nuggets. I also had a cocktail this time, the Bray Bré, which was absolutely unreal! Dying to know the recipe... I ordered the garlic bread as a side but it was HUGE-- basically a whole pizza worth of garlic bread. It's a little too crispy for my liking but still nice.

I used to love coming here and in the past I would have happily given it a 4 star review on a good day. The waitress was a lovely girl, very chatty and friendly. We came here for lunch and got a pitcher of what was meant to be Pink Grapefruit but I suspect was actually strawberry lemonade instead. It tasted nice and I was really thirsty so it took its place on the table without complaint. The pizza and the fish salad were both pretty good but once our plates were taken away so was our table service. There were 4 staff members running around the floor with that Knorr Quick Soup 'look busy walk fast - don't stop me now' sort of look going on and our wonderful waitress had disappeared like Debbie McGee into one of Paul Daniels boxes of illusion - she had simply vanished into thin air. I pride myself on being a fair person but after failing to catch the eye of any of the remaining staff or their attention (It would have been easier to ask Usain Bolt for his autograph during a 100metre sprint) we just gave up on the idea of coffee altogether and made our way up to the register to settle the bill. It was at this precise moment our lovely waitress re-entered the scene and the magic show ended. Ta D'ah! The restaurant wasnt really that busy and it wouldnt have taken much effort for the person who took our plates away to offer us a dessert menu, we assumed they would be back. But its true what they say about assumption - its simply the mother of all Feck Ups. Substitute the "E" for a dirty "U" at your own discretion, if you so wish! So the food was good and the service was good for some of the duration but not so good for the final leg. If this restaurant trip would be comparable to a Ryanair flight, then the staff were too busy selling scratch cards to other passengers to notice the guy and girl looking for a cup of instant Kenco. Pros: - The best way to end a trail hike from Greystones to Bray - They specialize in their flatbreads and pizza; I went with the chicken pizza with fresh salad. - It's nice to eat something delicious and not feel gross/like I've eaten a triangle grease. - Great vibe and decor inside and a lot of seating. Cons: - The bathrooms are really weird!

Can I have a 3.5 star... Please, promise I have reasons! This has been on my bookmarks for way too long and was excited to finally be in the area on the last bank holiday Monday. They have prime position on the seafront in Bray and hey, should Summer ever decide to arrive here in Ireland the outdoor seating would be awesome and with a view to die for. Went on in and the place was jammers, buzzing and how knew on such a cold wet miserable summer's day all of Bray would be inside. Looking for just a table for 2, the host was like, hey, we're pretty busy but using her initiative (bonus points) she was like I can squeeze you up on the window seats... I was like super, thanks... however as we squeeze on over I was disappointed because she choose not to follow us over, provide us with menus or even move off from the window table all the cashier admin stuff. After about 5 minutes, my husband had to just start restacking the stuff to give him breathing space to seat properly. Another staff member got the hint and did finish off that job, so cheers for that. We got menus about 10 mins after arrive and where ready to order pretty quickly, order in and we asked fro some table water... Was excited to see a large jug of fresh water and cucumber placed on the table but no glasses and uh, it wasn't until food was hitting our table that we could get the attention of someone who could hook us up. And again, the did turn it around by bringing an extra portion of fries to apologise for the delay. So the food was totally on the money, loved my pizza and my hubby, loved his... The extra fries was a nice added touch and I 100% appreciated the gesture. I will definitely come back and hopefully next time it will be less manic and I've no doubt the staff are friendly and mean well, just we caught them on a day when everything seems chaotic. Am open to a take-two on this place, maybe a late evening mid-week pizza date ;-)

It also brought back fond memories of one of our early dates at a Left Bank in Pleasant Hill CA, when Gayle put me to the test. :) p.s. - I'm still around after 20 years. Our tour had just arrived in Kilkenny and as we walked down through the Food Festival (it was also a Bank Holiday), we needed to find a bank to replenish our cash reserve for tips and such. As we were Downtown, that was easy to accomplish. After that, I asked Gayle if she wanted to eat at the food festival or sit down somewhere. She opted for the latter, and Left Bank was right there! The place was packed and with great happy Bank Holiday energy, but the nice guy greeting us suggested we walk around and see if we could find an empty table. After about 5 minutes of searching, we spied a couple just leaving at a table by the window and we grabbed it. We were served quickly by an observant wait person, and before we knew it, my Chicken BLT and Gayle's Burger were right there. My choice was very good, and Gayle's burger was amazing. My adult beverage of choice was a Smithwicks, while Gayle stuck to her go-to Chardonnay choice (but with a burger?). Then as we're enjoying our Lunch, we look out the window and there's our friends Don and Fern walking down the food festival street! Gayle quickly left to chase them down, and with enough room at the table, the more the merrier! If we weren't on the tour clock, I would have gone another round. But alas, all good things....and doing a mitzvah by leading another couple looking for table to ours as we left.

There is an option for a 3rd but the portions were so large we couldn't fit any more in. Well, except for cocktails that was. The upstairs bar is a great place for pre or after dinner drinks and the menu is extensive but kinda expensive. Go for the 2 for €12 euro deal served up to 7.30 if you are on a budget.
