Look at the size of those prawns!

I have to say they definitely don't scrimp on the pizza toppings! I ordered the prawn pizza with corgettes, red onion and garlic and although it was the regular it was plenty and delicious. Couldn't have managed the large one. The sweet potato cubes too were nice with a garlic dip. Yes I like my garlic. The decor has been spruced up lately and I like that they have put in more booths. The same pictures of time magazine with the stars still adorn the walls. The only slight problem was that the seats on the booths were quite high meaning my legs were dangling like a child's. But still definitely my favourite place for pizza in Dublin.

The Guacamole with tortillas (or something) was nothing spectacular... but the pizza was GREAT. Pulled pork in a pizza was daring and surprisingly good, with creme fraiche and bbq sauce, very nice, tasty, yummy, I have to come back to try new pizzas. PS. All the place is filled with Rolling Stone covers (the magazine, not the band) hanging in the walls. It´s fine.

We've always been coming here and have never been disappointed. If anyone is thinking of coming down make sure you book a table cause this place fills up fairly quickly. I'd recommend the smoky joe pizza, out of this world. They don't deliver put I don't mind that... Well worth the travel. They have a new menu so I'm trying the new pulled pork pizza. Will let you all know what it's like :-)

Have been coming here for years and I love, love this place!! They have the best pizza in Dublin, stonebaked, thin crust and with a multitude of varieties and toppings available. The service is fantastic and the prices are excellent - watch out for the Early bird at €15.95 - it's an absolute winner. You have to get the coleslaw and have it with your pizza (sounds crazy but it's soooo good). The vanilla Philly cheesecake they do is also really yummy - nice and simple but always delicious. Come for the pizza and you'll be back because of the prices, service and general awesomeness!!

Ate here for the first time on my last trip to Dublin with my family. We ordered 4 small pizzas to try some of the unique variety of pizzas that they offer. The Tribeca Prawn Pizza was delicious and had just the right amount of spice that balanced out the entire pizza. Both the Margarita and Mozzarella pizza were ok, but nothing that stood out compared to any other pizza places. Unfortunately, the Highline Pastrami Pizza was overly greasy and had way too much mustard sauce for our liking. The service was a bit lackluster since we went at prime dinner time as well.

Ate here yesterday for the first time. I had the nachos to start which were decent enough. Had the special pizza for main which was pretty good. Service was good and friendly. We ordered off the main menu but in hindsight we should have had the early bird as it looked good value at €15 for two courses. Definitely go back.

Pizza was just okay. It's definitely not something we will crave but it worked as a simple meal. Not sure if we will go back.

In my opinion it's the nicest pizza in town just beats di fontaine's by having better select of sauces for the base of pizzas

"But why, Brian, is it not," you ask? Many of you may know that my wife uses a wheelchair, so that is usually first on my mind when visiting any establishment. We check to see if it says its accessible. And Wood Fire said it was! Yay! Except, well, sort of yes, sort of no. We were able to get in the door. The first door, to the outside covered seating area. No chance of getting in the second door into the building proper, because that had stairs. But that was ok. It was a nice night out and we were happy to sit in the covered outside area. But is a place really accessible if the toilets are not? Not only would the stairs have been an issue, but there's no way her wheelchair could have navigated through the restaurant to the back, and once there, forget it. Way too small and narrow for a chair to get in there. So yeah, great food, nice people, we had a good time. But I'm not sure "accessible" is accurate.

And it was. Did a little research and found this gem a block and a half from our hotel. Called an ordered a 4 frommagi "mini calzone" and was told they didn't have that on the menu any longer, so I asked why they did have for calzones and he said "we have one with mozzarella, Parmesan, scarmorza and salami". I said "could I order that but without the salami" and so it was done- tre frommagi. I couldn't decide between the Bianca and the "Lucky Tom" but on the owner's suggestion, went with the Bianca, a pizza with an olive oil base, topped with tomato, mozzarella di buffalo, Parma ham, shaved park and rocket (a.k.a. Arugula). When I went to pick them up 10 minutes later, they were ready and had a lovely char from the wood fired oven. The "mini" calzone would've been more than enough for the two of us, and I wished I had ordered just that since we do not have a refrigerator in our room and have to get creative with any leftovers. Anyway both hit the spot, but there was so much cheese in the calzone o ended up having it on the crust of my pizza and there was too much rocket on the pizza, but overall a win and a nice finish to the evening before we drifted off to sleep.

Everything was overpriced and nothing was made fresh. The meagre kitchen set-up consists of a microwave and a toaster oven, which everything is reheated in. We ordered the stuffed pepper and prawn & chorizo starters. The portions were very small; we especially felt ripped off when we saw the size of the prawn & chorizo dish. For €8, we got 4 tiny shrimp and a few small pieces of sausage. We also shared the mushroom and spinach pizza, which was as hard as a board. I'm all for thin crust, but this was so dry, it was basically a giant cracker.... And the worst part was the mushrooms were canned! For €15, it just really didn't cut it. The staff couldn't be faulted, though. They were attentive and even gave us complimentary desserts for moving to accommodate another walk-in party. Unfortunately, I was just so disappointed with the food that I wouldn't return.
