chicken Sandwich with honey mustard.

Stopped here and decided to try it out. The food was amazing. They have bread before the meal that is very fresh. My son got the chicken sandwich. It was huge and the fried that came with it were some of the best fries I ever had.

This is the second time we've been to this restaurant, and the hostess recognized us and created us warmly. Our waitress was equally gracious and welcoming, and of course the owner stopped by to check and make sure that we enjoyed everything. Check out the pictures of the delicious food and know that this place is definitely worth a trip! Super convenient off the Nashua River rail Trail if you're biking.

Pickle Soup $7 A dill pickle soup with carrots, onions, celery and diced potatoes -- amazing little soup with bread. The subtle tastes were deliciously satisfying. Not heavy but not just water. Lovely. Pierogi $18 Served fried with caramelized onions. Choice of: potato and cheese, cabbage and mushroom or spinach (we did a mix of every kind they had! Also comes with great sour cream. Again not heavy--even fried--so much comfort. Perfect dough, perfect fillings. Polish Plate $24 Mix plate: Hunter's stew, stuffed cabbage, three pierogies, and grilled Polish sausage kielbasa. A little taste of everything. Split it with my partner. So much comfort food. Each one was a 10 out of 10. They just never missed the mark. Perfect. Exactly what we wanted. And of course we split the Gypsy Pancake $21 A giant potato pancake filled with Hungarian goulash, topped with sour cream and dill Huge. This one was heavy for the heavyweights. But phenomenal. It was bigger than I thought it would be. Crispy, not too oily, and a very rich flavor in the goulash. Meat was a little tough but fit right into the rich deep flavors. Everything was top shelf goodness. Come knowing you'll have to share. Don't assume anything is small! It's all shareable! Great atmosphere, wooden tables/booths, tight but homey. Guy who ran the spot was also very nice. Polish locals were coming in asking for their favorites in polish. Ah man it was great. Great feel, great food, great spot! My wife and I will definitely be back. That pickle soup!!!

"We invite you to have a taste of Germany, no passport required"-Munich Haus…read more A truly authentic German restaurant with loads of events at the restaurant, banquet hall, & outdoor biergarten featuring live music. Big place that takes up a entire corner in downtown Chicopee, MA. Three parking lots behind the restaurant. Offering lunch & dinner Sun-Thu 11:30am-9pm, Fri & Sat 11:30am-10pm. We visited here on Saturday evening April 18. 2026. This place was highly recommended by our friends from the German-american Club of Albany (NY). Half our party had been here many previous times & for the other half, it was our first time. This day they were hosting their annual wild game feast in the banquet hall. 50+ people attended this event. Munich Haus has 20 or so special events per year. Our party of six was here for dinner. Our server was the spunky Maria who made this a memorable dinner. We were here for their famous schnitzels. A hearty meal excellently prepared and served eight ways. Comes with soup or salad and choice of two sides (i.e. spaetzle, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, or chef's vegetable). Also you can get a schnitzel sampler of 3 varieties. WOW! Also offered are sauerbraten, rouladen, chicken Reisling, braised lamb shanks, a variety of wursts (sausages) and delicious dessets. It's simply WUNDERBAR! Many thanks again to Maria & the rest of the Munich Haus staff for a tasty & memorable dinner road trip "for a taste of Germany, no passport required." "You can't leave here until you try the Strudel" I'm told…read more I enter "steak" into Yelp and Student Prince comes up in my search. I start reading about this spot, Student Prince is an authentic German restaurant. I speak fluent beer so my choice is now made up. I had a big lunch so I figured I'd drink a pint of good German beer and a small plate before I'm on my way. Yeah right! My waitress was fantastic, she was suggesting all these great dishes but I didn't have the room. I started with a tap beer and Jägerschnitzel (Schnitzel with Mushroom Gravy, my favorite) the dish came with two sides, sauerkraut and spaetzle. The Jägerschnitzel is a big cutlet, there is a lot of food on my plate. I take a bite of Jägerschnitzel along with some sauerkraut. I take it slow and I was able to knock it all out. The Jägerschnitzel was very good, this is a fantastic spot. The restaurant feels very authentic, from the booths to the bar, they did a great job in recreating a German pub. My waitress kept coming over to make sure I'm ok. She told me to make some room because the Strudel shouldn't be missed. I'm told it's also topped with vanilla ice cream. Another great dish and highly recommended. Student Prince, I don't get the name. I'm glad I found this spot on Yelp. If you want a great German restaurant, Student Prince is a must.

All in all a great spot with a diverse menu.

We chose to start our meal with the borscht and Solyanka. Both soups we served with a shot of house infused vodka. We devoured both and enjoyed them immensely. Served with mashed potato. It was decadent. We finished with a shared dessert of sour cherry vereniki. Tender dumplings filled with sour cherry and served with a sweet cherry jam and sour cream. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming, and our server, Liza, was absolutely wonderful. We didn't even realise at first that it was a Russian restaurant--and despite a wedding happening in the back, they invited us in as if we were longtime friends. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between classy and comfortable, with a genuine family feel wrapped in elegant décor. The drinks were excellent, and although I didn't order the soup, I learned it's served with horseradish vodka--so naturally, I had to try the vodka on its own. It was fantastic. They also have live music on the weekends, which just adds to the charm. Highly recommend this place, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. .

The food was good. The schnitzel was very good (pork schnitzel), both with and without the wild mushroom sauce. The potato salad was a little weird but tasty; never had potato salad quite like that in Germany. The spätzle was very tasty, but rather huge chunks. It's normally a lot smaller and more uniform, using a Spätzle-Hobel. This looked more like the dough was broken up by hand. Again, still quite tasty. Wine and beer selection were good, with most things sourced from Germany.
