    chicken Sandwich with honey mustard.

Stopped here and decided to try it out. The food was amazing. They have bread before the meal that is very fresh. My son got the chicken sandwich. It was huge and the fried that came with it were some of the best fries I ever had.

This is the second time we've been to this restaurant, and the hostess recognized us and created us warmly. Our waitress was equally gracious and welcoming, and of course the owner stopped by to check and make sure that we enjoyed everything. Check out the pictures of the delicious food and know that this place is definitely worth a trip! Super convenient off the Nashua River rail Trail if you're biking.

My biggest wish is that the menu changed up a bit more. Every time I go, it feels very similar, and I often find myself struggling to find something that truly stands out or excites me. The food is good, just not particularly memorable. That said, the service is consistently good and it's still a nice place to meet up or go for a casual night out. I'd love to see some fresher or more creative menu rotations in the future because the setting definitely deserves it.

And if it has premium beef and isn't yet another smashburger (I like them, but enough already), best scenario yet. Forge & Vine Cheeseburger: The burger here was fantastic. Most importantly, the beef brought flavor-- very enjoyable. Crusting was solid, though there could have been a bit more-- and perhaps a bit more seasoning. But no issues with the flavor, and the interior was a perfect medium rare with juices aplenty. The challah-like bun-- with appropriate size, volume, and density-- also brought some flavor: a pleasant slight sweetness. Cheese got the right melt, tomatoes were very fresh, and the other ingredients all worked in harmony. Tallow Fries: Included with the cheeseburger, these had both crispness and give, with a moist, fatty lubricant to aid the texture and flavor. Salting was on point. And plenty of them. All this for $24 might seem steep, but in today's economy, where it'll run you nearly $20 for a burger and fries at Five Guys, I'm all for paying a few extra bucks for the extra quality. And the space itself is pretty impressive too, from the high ceilings to the wood to the open kitchen to the view of farmland out back. Service was good too: efficient and friendly. Planning to return to try other items and post another review.

Their huge 275-seat event space was packed at tables for 4 to 8, for the two 1-hour sets of Live Dead & Brothers Band, an Allman Brothers - Grateful Dead group of legacy musicians from those bands and families!!! An authentic rockin' performance! They opened hot, with Feelin' Alright and Truckin', and ended hot with Midnight Rider, Ramblin' Man, and Jessica, with around 14 more between. The acoustics were excellent at our table, and we also took up our share of the crowded dance area :-) Their tour continues at least through Dec 2026. Our tickets were about $50 each. Service was fast and friendly, and they let us pull up one more chair for our group of nine. You can get crafted beers and cocktails. We settled in with ice cold regional beers, which honestly are just as distinctive as fancy craft beers. We got some food to share off their "concert menu", too. An entrée-size dish of rich creamy homemade Mac & Cheese, made with tasty aged Grafton Cheddar, soft slightly-al-dente curly Cavatappi pasta tubes, not-overcooked green beans, as i recall, crisply crusted with lightly-maple breadcrumbs. Very flavorful and satisfying. A sweet fresh bright Autumn Salad of greens, pecans, and bright beets, in tart vinaigrette. And juicy "Bull Run Classic" burgers with crisp lettuce, tasty firm tomato, mildly-sharp red onion, and, for one of them, an add-on of rich cheddar, all on a cloud-like brioche bun. They do ask for $20 per person food/beverage minimum for all shows, essentially an entree or a couple beverages each. That's about what we had planned to order anyway :-) This place knocked us out with their dedication to farm-to-table ingredients, sourced from more than 25 regional farms named on the dinner menu. We've never seem such an extensive list of the actual sources. Very cool! The Bull Run has been a tavern since 1741, named after the Battle of Bull Run in 1861, (or in another version, named for a brawl in the tavern at the same time :-), and has been run by the Guercios extended-family since 1946. It was a stop on the stagecoach route and a gathering place for the Revolutionary war. We loved the original wood, structure, and décor. The fireplaces were lovely. It's a huge venue. Bull Run has live music every week, and they're open Wed-Sun, but watch their schedule because dates vary, sometimes one day that week, sometimes all four! This show was in their 275-seat room. There's at least one larger room for around 400. Theres a little parking along Rt 2A, and much more out back across the covered bridge. Dont be put off by the rustic exterior. We loved this legendary performance at a legendary restaurant!

We had a party of 7 and we were very excited to finally try Dreo. We started with 2 orders of the calamari and the spinach dip special. My husband noticed the calamari also had shrimp which I am allergic to. They happily removed the shrimp but unfortunately it's fried in the same oil (which is completely logical) but everyone at our table (besides me) throughly enjoyed the calamari. I cannot even begin to explain how good the spinach dip was. I'm not sure I'll have want to eat spinach dip without garlic bread again!!! Next up entrees: 2 ribeyes, 1 NY strip, 1 Korean BBQ Bowl, 1 Soy Maple Glazed Salmon, and 1 Tuscan Fried Chicken. I am newly pregnant and to be honest I was not looking forward to eating out because my go to is rib eye but I refuse to eat well done meat so instead I ordered the Tuscan fried chicken. I also asked to sub the mashed potatoes for truffle fries and the veggie medley for green beans. They had no problems with my requests which I loved. I loved every single bite of my chicken and I actually stopped caring that I was missing on steak! In fact every single person at our table loved everything they ate too. We ended our meal with cookie skillets and again absolutely delicious! Now our meal was fantastic by itself but I have to say our waiter Brett was just as amazing!! He couldn't have done a better job and he totally rolled with our parties over the top personalities. Even if the food wasn't outstanding we'd go back just for the service! I really hope of the owners or managers see this; Brett is fantastic and deserves praise!! We will definitely be back and since I still have about 7 and half months to go I will be coming back for more Tuscan fried chicken soon!!
