Longhorn Lawns did a exemplary job installing our new French Drain. We put this off for years, but…read morecouldn't wait any more after the monsoon rains last Spring. I contacted Longhorn Lawns to do the work based on Yelp reviews. JP and Matt scheduled us and sent out one of their top crews to do the work. The crew worked meticulously to get the drain angle just right for the drainage. To accomplish the task, they had to use a jackhammer to get through all of the limestone. Note: It was ~100 degrees the day they were here. They worked tirelessly all day to get the job just right. When they finished testing the drain, they put all of the plants back in there places and added more mulch to make it look fresh. Needless to say, they did an awesome job and I highly recommend Longhorn Lawns for your next work. My beds looks fantastic and now I am ready for the next big rain.

They also installed more than 35 pallets of sod effectively and within the timeframe they promised. After considering three other bids, Matt gave us a fair price and stood behind his commitments to deliver quality, which won our business. We are grateful for Matt and his team and would recommend doing business with this company and especially under Matt's project management. Based on our experience, we also believe Matt and his team will stand behind their installations and ensure we are satisfied with the overall landscaping project.

Based on this highly positive experience with Sam, we plan to use his services on our lawn in the future. I give him my highest recommendation.

A good tree trimmer and cleaner envisions how the trees will grow back and how that will impact your maintenance, views, and charm of your home and yard. I can say that Wild Oak Tree service did all of that AND ensured that my yard was properly trimmed and cleaned up afterwards. They did excellent and timely work and highly recommend them to everyone. With all the rain this year and rapid growth, I look forward to requiring their services again :D Thanks much team! Chad

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Wild Oak Tree Service…read more We hired them to trim trees on our property, and during the work their crew damaged our fence. Accidents happen, and we would have been completely understanding if they had simply taken responsibility and fixed the damage. Instead, the most frustrating part of this experience has been what happened afterward. We have repeatedly contacted the company and given them multiple opportunities to come back and repair the fence. We have been told it would be addressed, followed up multiple times, and continued to get delays and avoidance rather than a resolution. At this point, we have spent far more time chasing them than any customer should have to spend trying to get a contractor to repair damage caused by its own crew. A company's professionalism isn't just about completing the original job -- it's also about how they respond when something goes wrong. Based on our experience, Wild Oak Tree Service has failed badly in that regard. We gave them every reasonable opportunity to make this right before leaving this review. Unfortunately, they have not done so. I would not hire them again and would caution others to think carefully before doing so.

(To the tune of The Beverly Hillbillies in case it's not obvious)…read more C'mon listen to a story bout a girl named Jen. A poor single girl barely kept her lawn fed. And then one day, she was bootin' her lawn fool. And out of nowhere came the dirt-y-deeds crew. Felipe, that is. Like gold. Saved me. I was at my wit's end trying to find a reliable person/crew to do my lawn. I tried Craigslist, word of mouth, Yellow Pages. They either didn't show up or didn't show up consistently or they were very unreasonably priced. When voicing my frustration, a friend handed me a card for Dirt-y-deeds and said her landlord used him. She couldn't vouch for him, but why not? It's not like my lawn will mow itself, and I don't have the time (okay, more I don't have the inclination, but let's not get distracted by details like this). Enter Felipe Comacho. I pay $25 every two weeks for my lawn to be mowed and edged, which is awesome, but the most important part to me is that he shows up! I never anticipated that being such a huge obstacle when I bought my house. Don't people want to create a name for themselves with their business? Don't they need repeat business to grow? Word of mouth? Felipe has also cut my tree branches ($20), cut down and hauled away an entire tree ($25), and loaded up and took into oblivion (or so I thought) my trash and wood leftovers from replacing my fence ($25). He knows I don't have a truck and recognizes when I need a little extra help..sometimes before I do. I enjoy conversing with him and can really tell he cares about his customers. Get this: when he is running late or needs to change our routine, he calls. Wha? Yes, he calls. Whatever came of those items he hauled away, you ask? He recycled everything he could, including using the old fence slats and posts to make ground stakes. He prides himself on being eco-friendly, which is important to me, too. I don't get how he does it so cheaply, but I won't start to question him, that's for sure. Well, now it's time to say goodbye to overgrown lawns and beds. I would like to thank Felipe for kindly haulin' off the dead. He is always invited back again to this locality because he gives a heapin' helping of hospitality. Reliability, that is. Mow well. Take my trash off. Y'all come back now, ya' hear?
