I needed trees removed and my fence replaced, unfortunately both were in the same location. I had quotes for both activities when Zach told me that they do both. He was quick to reply to me via yelp and set up a visit to put together the quote. It's absolutely worth the extra cost to have someone do both parts of a job rather than trying to coordinate between two different companies. Zach was ready to schedule the job right away as well. I now have a clean new fence in my backyard. I didn't like how one of the trees was cut back, and to make sure I was completely satisfied, Zach sent one of his guys back to do a little more. My neighbors have also hired him since - one to fill in two spaces with cement and the other to fence in her front yard. Both have been completed and look really nice. Do yourself a favor and pass up on these guys entirely. I regret using this company... My interactions were plagued with sloppy work, excuses and it required me to do additional work just to get close to what I had asked for in the first place. I have WAY more to say about this but am limited in review length by Yelp. Here's my main issue, the concrete patio they poured. It is a simple pad with a large arc on one side because we didn't want a square. First - the arc is not symmetrical, one side sweeps at a steady radius and the other side has a large bulge, unsightly and it's the first thing people have pointed out to me on several occasions. I explained it to Zach and practically begged him to come out and see it for himself, he never showed up and gave excuses that it "looked fine in pictures". I don't walk out my back door to pictures, I walk out to a several thousand dollar souvenir of poor craftsmanship. Second - they used a cheap concrete with fiber mixed in. You can see the fibers, it's very ugly, he never offered once to go with a higher quality concrete at a higher price. I would have gladly paid more for a prettier product. Third and most major is that he didn't float the pad all the way against the house, meaning that water can get between the pad and the house...When that water freezes it will eventually damage either the house or the pad... Absolutely unacceptable and is sloppy work. I have had to waterproof the gap against the house but sadly I will still have a sloppily formed pad with ugly fibers all over it. I called The Lawn Father to remove a tree that was growing into the foundation of a house and overhanging service lines. I initially got no answer (likely in the middle of a job), but within a matter of hours I got a call back from Zack who arranged to come in and quote the tree removal the next morning. After accepting the quote, I had a team of three people come in the afternoon (same day!) and within a matter of 20 minutes they had cut the tree down and removed all the debris. They did an excellent job and were very careful around my house and the power lines my tree was mangled between. Amazing work from Zack and his crew. Our project entailed demo of existing concrete patio, repour a new slab and install footers for a new fence. From the get-go was very quick to respond to the request for a quote. He showed up on time and was always professional and respectful.
