Their sales representative, Joe Hayden, arrived promptly, was professional, and had an estimate for me within hours. Best of all, he didn't try to upsell me or walk around my property looking for other work to sell me. The job itself was challenging. I have two very tall tulip poplars, my yard is on a hill, and the trees sit right on the property line with a driveway on each side. MG Tree showed up with the right equipment--a crane and bucket capable of reaching about 50 feet and maneuvering from one location to another. Other companies were talking about ropes, lifts, and repeatedly moving equipment around. That made me nervous. The crane gave the crew tremendous control over the trees, timber, and debris. Nothing was damaged. The foreman, Damian, was pleasant, polite, and professional. They did everything I asked for and more. After a recent storm, we needed a service to cut down a very large tree which had partially toppled…read moreand in danger of blocking my neighbor's driveway. After calling several services with no response, A Cut Above Tree Service came to the rescue. Miguel called right back and came out a couple of hours later. He surveyed the damage and wrote up an estimate on the spot which was very reasonable. He and his crew came out the very next day, performed the service, and cleaned up the area beautifully. The tree was in a heavily wooded area and his crew was able to position the logs so they would not disturb a nearby stream runoff and cause flooding. They also cut down a dead maple tree in our front yard and again did a superb job of cleaning up the area. My wife and I were thrilled with the professionalism and courtesy of Miguel and his crew.
