Had a tree taken out, it had to be over 20 feet tall. They came, had to close the block down, but cut the tree down and hauled the pieces away, two days later another crew came and took out the stump, filled the hold and everything is good. Star rating: 4.5 read more

These guys were higher than the competition on the original estimate. They worked with me and we agreed on a lower price. They worked very hard and were very nice, and I was so impressed that I paid them the original higher estimate. My only disappointment was that there was a huge pile of shredded chips left over after grinding the stump. When I asked them about removing them, I was told it was another $500. I had just paid them an extra $400. This was not previously discussed. Very disappointing and too expensive, so I did it myself which took forever and over 30 trash bags. My advice, go ahead and hire them, and be sure to have them include stump grinding and chip removal in their estimate. this would have been a 5-Star review if not for the chip removal issue. read more

Couldn't be more pleased with Jones Tree Service! Don and his crew are amazing. We have a very large 38' curly willow tree in our "Philly backyard" that needed a major trim. These guys worked magic navigating wires, neighbors yards, scaling walls and the tree itself to make it look perfect! All debris, and there was plenty, needed to be taken out through the house for disposal. They swept their way out with barely a piece of saw dust left as evidence.
