The guys at Carney Tree Service know what they're doing. We felt their pricing was fair. And the service was good. We would absolutely use them again. Our project involved 7 large pine trees. It was a big job. We had no urgent timeframe, so the Carney guys just showed up when they had enough time left in their work day. They would arrive at 1pm or 2pm and bang out 2 trees or so and wrap it up by 4pm. We had no issue with that, and it helped with their labor efficiency. We've used them before. I had 3 big trees to be removed in our backyard. They removed all 3. My neighbor was so impressed seeing our work being done that he asked for a quote. The price was great so they took down 2 of my neighbors large trees all before the day was done, wow! Thats 5 very large trees in a day in 2 different yards. We saw a crew start a week ago on another neighbors property (they're still there). When Carney Co. showed up I have to think they looked in awe of how large the equipment was... and that they moved 1/3 of a tree at a time OVER my 2 story house lol. It was very cool to watch. Love them! We have used Carney Tree for all of our tree work on 10 trees over the last 8 years. Our neighbors have used them and family members have used them and say the same! Reasonable cost for exceptional, efficient, and timely work. They are busy and are usually backed up 3 weeks to schedule a job. They are worth the wait, if it is not an emergency. If it is, they do try to get out sooner, but they are booked solid always, so you wait your turn. Jim took down an 80 ft. sycamore tree at my mother's house with a trunk that was 5-6 feet wide with a crane piece by piece in an extremely tight area between 2 homes. He and his team didn't show up twice when the were supposed to. From my initial phone call to schedule service to the actual date of service being executed was over 30 days. There's a reason Carney is cheaper than other services - there's at least a 50% they won't show up. These people blew off appointment after appointment. If you're dealing with someone named Brett - RUN!!. Carney said they needed access to my neighbor's yard. So my neighbor had to keep their cars out of the driveway and move some lawn furniture. Then Carney wouldn't show up. Didn't respond to texts and phone calls. Happened 3x. CLOWN SERVICE. Not worth the aggravation. read more

These guys are awesome. We've been using them for years and they keep getting better. Very courteous and helpful. While they were cutting some limbs for me last month they saw a dangerous situation with another tree full of ants. Nothing pushy, just pointed it out to us. When they were finished with the limbs they cleaned up EVERYTHING. They even cut some extra stuff for me. My yard hasn't looked this nice in a long time. Used this business for twenty years with no issue. Last job wasn't good so I called and could only leave a message, no return call. Received a bill for the full job so sent a letter stating I wasn't happy and after all the history we should come to some agreement. We reached an agreement the invoice was paid in full so I thought everything was good. The following year I called for additional work, no return call, called again and was finally called back. We arranged a time to meet so I left work early and he was a no show. All subsequent calls went unanswered. Great tree guy but don't ever question a job. I'm writing this review for Carl Barker a computerless friend who lives just outside of Media, PA. Carney come out to his house with a crane & removed a huge locust tree that had fallen during one of the storms and crushed the roof of the room that had been an addition to his house. As promised, they removed the tree, and cut it into several smaller pieces. They even put on a tarp that Carl had bought to help prevent any further rain damage to the house. Carney Tree was not only very quick, and efficient but super reasonably priced. The entire job took approximately an hour! Both Carl and I definitely recommend this company to anyone. Great! One of my trees split in half and fell across two yards. They were the best bid and had good reviews, so I went with them. They came on schedule, finished quickly, and cleaned up everything. The staff were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. They even cleaned up a small (3" diameter trunk) tree that was whacked and under one of the trunks that fell.
