WOW! If you are considering a tree service company, look no further! They are a reasonably priced, master tree service. Truly. Trust me. You will not regret it. Their skill is top-notch! The owner of the company and his son are great people that you can trust. You can tell from the minute you meet them. It's not often I am impressed with the caliber of people these days. If I could give 10 stars, I would! We won't get another tree service any longer .. It's JT's for all of our tree service needs! The backstory ... We had an issue with an extremely tall tree shared with our neighbor that had just fallen, but had two sections precariously hanging in the tree beside it. It needed to come down due to the danger it posed. We did a search on Google and found JT's Tree Service and called them. They contacted me the same day and had time to look at the tree. Once they reviewed it, they informed us that they could remove it that same day! Music to our ears! Where other contractors said they needed a boom to remove the tree, JT's Tree Service masterfully used pulleys, rope and various other equipment to remove the two huge trunks of the tree. They made easy work of the tree removal, which other contractors shied away from. This was no easy feat. One trunk was within a foot of a neighbor's fence and their homes were close, as well. So, this meant that he had to be precise every step of the way with their cuts, pulley system, and strategy to lay both trunks down away from the fencing and houses. It was certainly impressive to watch! They made it look so easy! Again, look no further. It's that simple. These are top-notch folks. Hard-working, honest, trustworthy, and masters at their craft. Absolutely horrible people! To start off I do landscaping and tree work myself, so I actually know what these people do. Not only will they not clean up any of their tree removal (chips, branches, ruined soil, etc) They blocked an entire road (both lanes; they most think they're the police!) and then almost reversed into me on a gator vehicle (drove 30 feet straight backward without looking AT ALL!!! I had to reverse all the way back over 30ft to avoid him ramming into me). After I asked the man why he nearly reversed into me like that and why they were blocking the entire road, he proceeds to cussing me out while on the job and in uniform and shouts expletives for something they entirely caused themselves. I recorded the employee after he said all this and he stopped cursing but kept exclaiming it was my fault and that I "needed to be patient" as they entirely blocked streets and reverse down them paying no mind to other drivers! No wonder these people have little to no business, create fake 5-star reviews/hide all their bad reviews, and hire literally any terrible employee they can! Your employees are literally cursing people out in uniform. Great look guys! read more

We just moved to the area and I started asking around for a good tree service. My neighbors told me, "call JT, he is very reasonable and does a great job". Our house was surrounded by 100 foot plus Poplar trees. You could not even see our house from the street. JT and his team knocked out over 20 of these trees in 3 days. His skill of tree climbing and dropping trees is unbelievable. He dropped these huge trees within 5 feet of our house. My wife and I were amazed what these guys did for us. I also asked JT to cut the trees in 16 foot lengths because I want to mill them, done, no questions asked! JT was here 3 full days and he and the team earned every penny we paid them. They did not leave any day with out cleaning up. If you have any size job and you want it done right and reasonable and you do not call JT, you are doing yourself an injustice. We moved to Coatesville, not knowing anyone, but I honestly now feel like we made friends with JT for as long as we are here. I will call JT next year to drop some trees. I had previously used another tree company but after hiring JT to remove a tree that was close to the house and between my fish pond and patio I haven't used anyone since. I recently had a tree branch come down on my shed from a half dead maple tree and I also wanted to remove a large tree that again was in a rough location, close to the house and driveway. JT was able to schedule the work based on what was best for me. The entire crew is very professional and their experience is obvious to anyone watching how they drop branches and trees with precision JT does the climbing and the difficulty cutting himself. I like the fact that I am dealing directly with the business owner. He's personable, very respectful and honest. He and his crew removed two mature trees, ground the stumps, disposed the significant debris. He managed tricky interactions with a neighbor's driveway. Our extensive plantings were respected and protected. Weather-related delays forced several re-schedulings; all were handled through good communication and flexibility. JT is value for money. I hired this company a few months ago and overall had a very poor experience, while their pricing seems reasonable they are very rude people and seemingly take pride in a quick job - not a good job. They rushed off my property to another job and didn't even clean up their mess and even missed one of the branches I told them I wanted to be removed. JT did a fabulous job on our property taking down seven trees in one morning. Several were difficult removals and JT with his two men took them down--no problem. They skillfully laid down the large trees just where they planned. When they were finished, every branch and leaf were totally cleaned up. I can't recommend them enough. I was thinking about hiring this company as my neighbors hired these people in the past, but they did a very poor job and would not fully satisfy the original agreements made. They also didn't clean up properly and were quite rude when asked to fulfill their end of the bargain. Definitely would not recommend them to anyone looking for any actual decent service. read more
