Brandywine Tree & Shrub did an Amazing and Beautiful job for us today!! Both the estimator and, later, the crew arrived right on time. They laid thick pads on the lawn for the equipment to ride on. They removed the dead/dying trees and accompanying brush with great care, cleared everything from the yard and cleaned up with attention to every detail. It amazed me that trees could be removed with the yard seeming as if nothing happened after they were done. Very friendly staff. Started with a courtesy call from Debbie who set me up with an appointment for an estimate. The gentleman arrived on time and gave me an on the spot estimate. I agreed and he got me on the books for a 2-3 week wait. He did say if a job came up in my area he would squeeze me in sooner. Well he did just that. Exactly one week from my estimate I had three large juniper bushes removed from our front yard. The crew who did the job was very polite and worked fast. Clean up was immediate and it looked great. We had four trees removed the other week - Brandywine Tree and Shrub were on time and brought a team of 11 men to tackle the trees in teams. They took great care of the surrounding trees, mailbox, lamp post and other obstacles. They even took special care with an active hawk's nest in a tree next to one that was being removed. 06/05/20 - I had two trees and one shrub removed. The crew called in advance to notify me that they were enroute and arrived on time as scheduled. It had just rained before the scheduled appointment and I anticipated cancellation but it was a brief rain the work went ahead as scheduled. After the rain, it was hot and humid. All the contracted work was done 100% to my satisfaction. The work crew was polite and courteous and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. The work done exceeded my expectations and I believe that Brandywine Tree and Shrub did the job at a fair and reasonable price. I highly recommend this business. Spring 2016 received estimate for tree trimming large trees. They said half of what I want done is winter work. Was a good estimate so scheduled them to do work for now, said would be 2-3 weeks. Fast forward: 2 months later they called and apologized and said I fell thru the cracks, still want work done? (I did try and call/email them to no avail) came out following Saturday. When you want to get a tree removed, look no further than Brandywine Tree and Shrub. I contacted Mark along with five other companies to get an estimate. Brandywine Tree was the lowest bid with a crane. I had gotten two lower bids but those companies were going to do it by hand and they didn't seem very safe to me. I decided to go with Brandywine Tree and Shrub because of how knowledgeable they were and how well Mark and John explained everything to me. This company worked with me and assured me that the safest way to remove that gigantic tree was with a crane. They were so right, and I felt that I absolutely made the right decision. The tree which belonged to my neighbor was an Oak Tree that stood over a 100 ft. in the air and the huge branches hang dangerously over my roof. The neighbor was not financially able to cut the tree and since it was hanging 80% on my side, I decided it was safer to pay to cut it down than for it to fall and risk the lives of myself, my husband and my kids. For two years since we bought that house, we had anxiety and we were worried sick that the tree was going to fall on our home. Brandywine Tree and Shrub removed the tree in about 9 hours on Tuesday, and by Friday we had a Nor'easter with very high winds. A lot of trees fell in the neighborhood. According to the news, seven people died in the States that were affected and all were because of fallen trees. Two children died while they were asleep in bed. This made me realize that this could have been my family. I am so grateful to Brandywine Tree and Shrub for fitting me in their schedule to remove that monstrous tree. The team was very professional and they worked safely and effectively. They blew all the leaves from my lawn, raked and cleared all the debris and left my yard spotless. My family can finally sleep without worrying about that humongous tree. The place looks so much nicer and we are much safer because of a company that cared and delivered on everything they promised.
