    I called 3 months ago and never followed through with the removal. Last week, a storm came through and knocked down several trees that were dangerously close to my home. These were the same trees I was going to have removed... Lesson learned. Luckily, Strobert was able to help me quickly. The arborist, Tony, came out within 24 hrs and got me set up for service. The price was fair, slightly different then before the trees were toast. I am super grateful they were able to save the day. I will definitely call them again when I need maintenance. Hopefully, I can prevent a similar disaster in the future.

    I signed the contract with Strobert on the salesperson's iPad. He didn't show me the page, "This Page Provides Clarity, A Must Read!" When I printed the contract, I discovered this page which says Strobert will schedule at their convenience. I had contracted to have a maple tree removed. The job took six weeks. Though the contract says the customer will be notified when a crew is coming out, I was only notified one time for the three visits. When I complained, I was told a crew was coming out on Saturday, but that didn't happen. When I called again to follow up on the project, Angi asked me to send photos. She was surprised the work wasn't completed, and said she'd forward them to the boss. For 6 weeks my yard was unsightly, unusable and unsafe. I doubted Strobert would ever finish the job. They had bid $700 higher than the local tree removal services. I hired them because I thought a big company would be efficient and professional. Strobert proved me very wrong. The logs and tree stump attracted wildlife of all sorts, including woodpeckers. The woodpeckers came to prefer the mahogany floor boards on my porch. I have $1,000 in damages. Read the contract in its entirety; amend it with dates and time limits; comparison shop; consider not having the work done before you get Strobert to do it.

    The crew from Strobert arrived early this morning and removed 8 large white pines that were starting to die. We were super impressed by their work, the safety measures they used and the way they cleaned up the property after the removal. They were even able to save three large azaleas that grew among the trees and that was not easy. We could not have asked for a better job. This is the second time we've used them and we'll gladly call them again.

    I do not recommend Strobert: they are disorganized, do not complete work according to estimates (told six weeks, it took 19), and the office (particularly Wanda) is really difficult to work with. It took five months for Strobert to remove two trees, four stumps, and repair damage to my fence (from dropping a tree limb) and damage to two of my neighbor's yards (from their equipment). I wouldn't have minded the five month turnaround as much if the office had been easier to work with. Between when I signed in August 2022 and when the work was completed in early January 2023, I spent hours trying to coordinate with the office via phone and email, received emails saying things like "let us know when you've removed your fence" (What? Why? This was not discussed when my project was evaluated or mentioned in the contract), then received emails saying "don't worry about it" when I pushed back. I received the final invoice with a immediate due date before the logs and stumps were removed and had to remind Strobert that they still needed to complete the work and address the damage to my neighbors' yards. To top it all off, Strobert sent me an email on 1/20/2023 threatening to send me to collections by end of day because I hadn't yet paid the actual final invoice they sent on 1/9/2023.

    New Image Restoration was hired for a fee of $1,000 plus tax to remediate a mold issue measuring 2'…read morex 1' x 2' x 1' located within the wooden structure above the bathroom ceiling (sheetrock). The contractor(s) from New Image Restoration removed and disposed of approx. 2' x 4' x 2' x 4' of the ceiling (sheetrock) that exhibited signs of mold, treated the exposed wood with a mold and mildew killer, identified the source of a leak, and recommended that I hire a plumber. I found the quality of the work to be satisfactory however, the identification of the leak was inaccurate, as no pipes were found to be leaking. The contractors were courteous and presented identification upon request before entering my home. Nevertheless, I consider the cost of the work particularly expensive for seniors given that it represents only (1) component of a (3) part job. Additionally, I was asked to sign a blank contract that stipulated a 50% charge, the cost was not explicitly detailed in the agreement. I had to inquire further to clarify this matter. Despite the fact that New Image Restoration was aware of my insurance company's $500 deductible, I was required to pay (2) both payments of $500 plus. Moreover, I began to receive multiple invoices totaling over $1,500 for services such as drywall repair, patchwork, priming, and painting, which were not performed by New Image Restoration or Super Steamer Carpet. It was also concerning to discover that New Image Restoration billed me through a subcontractor, Super Steamer Carpet, without prior notification regarding the involvement of subcontractors. Ultimately, I found it necessary to hire multiple contractors to complete the work on the ceiling mold issue. This experience has underscored the importance of inquiring about the entire scope of a project, including a comprehensive written description and a complete estimation of costs, accounting for any deductions.

    : I usually don't…read moreleave reviews, but my experience with COIT contractors was so bad I felt others should be warned. From the start, the workmanship was sloppy and unprofessional. They often showed up late--or didn't show up at all--with no communication. When they were there, they spilled spackle and paint, left a mess every time, and never cleaned up after themselves. They didn't complete the project as promised and even installed a ceiling fan incorrectly, which is a major safety issue. The whole process felt disorganized and careless. I expected a professional service, but what I got was a disaster. Overall, just a disgusting experience. I definitely would never recommend them. They send sub contractors that are not licensed, they painted with no appropriate lightening, they painted the ceiling and left ceiling paint all over the walls. They literally left everything in a horrible state. Not to mention the huge bubble in the middle of my ceiling, the exact thing they were hired to repair. I wish I could post pictures. I've acquired a lawyer and submitted a complaint via the DE DA office.

I contacted the COIT manager and he came by to verify that it was not sealed would need to be sealed off however after months of leaving voice message and texts no appointments have been made and my last dozen messages requesting an appointment to complete the work have not been returned. This is poor customer service on top of an incomplete service that was paid in full 11 months ago.
