Long overdue review...From start to finish, working with Liberati, the company and the family was amazing...I was selling my house in Drexel Hill and our closing date was at risk for a few reasons, partially my fault and partially working with Upper Darby was a complete disaster...If it wasn't for Lisa Liberati making calls, following up and pushing Upper Darby along, we would have never closed on our date, not to mention we were closing on our new house same day, so there was a lot riding on the sale of our house...Lisa was calm, cool and composed the whole way through, assuring me that we will be able to close on time and her persistence with Upper Darby Township paid off, I can't say enough about her professionalism and her overall customer service, outstanding...Dino is a master at his craft, he's no nonsense when it comes to the actual work but the nicest guy I've worked with in my 6 years in Drexel Hill...I had a large piece of concrete sitting in my backyard for years that I dug up to plant trees and part of the closing agreement was getting rid of that, probably 500lbs slab...I, because of my procrastination partly and the fact that it would have taken me hours sledgehammering this slab as well as disposing it, asked Dino if he could help and without hesitation, him and his guy had it loaded in his truck...All this and beautiful concrete work, clean, quick and professional...If you need concrete work done in Upper Darby, don't hesitate to call Liberati, they will take care of you from start to finish... I rarely use a contractor because I try to do most of my work myself. Concrete work is an exception. I was moving and had replace a number of pavement blocks to satisfy the township. A friend recommended D Liberati. I called and had the owner out for an estimate the same day. I considered the estimate to be more than fair. From start to finish, the job went extremely well. Township permits and code enforcement matters were handled by D Liberati. Dino Liberati, his employees and especially the young woman (his daughter) who handled everything except the concrete work, were excellent. read more

I've spoken to a number of contractors over time, Lisa was the only one who returned my calls promptly, sent me over a detailed estimate, and walked me through the entire process of restoring my property so I could complete my home sale. Not only does Liberati provide outstanding customer service, sales represetatives and work crew, the finished product is a well designed, sturdy, work of art.  From first contact to last communiation of cost, someone is constantly keeping you in the loop as you progress from estimate, appointments, availibility,  arranging the day of construction to the billing and ending of the project.  The work crew were efficient, professional and very personable. I need replace one concrete step at front of the house for the closing the property sale recently. There was only two day left before the closing. I asked owner to do the work next day. I thought that I need pay some extra fee for the urgent service. He and Lisa were very helpful to arrange the schedule without extra charge. I strongly recommend this company. Horrible communication from this business on all parts during the process. Had no idea when they were going to do concrete work and it went right into 3 days before settlement. Then work wasn't great but glad it passed inspection. Owner was rude throughout process and claimed he fixed it when he didnt. Just wanted to get paid. Did concrete work to my front, did an excellent job. Informed owner I would be needing more work to be done and I would be back in contact with their service. Couple months later contacted the company spoke with receptionist/family member and requested a quote. Was informed the owner would be back in contact with me to schedule a quote. Never heard from company after repeated calls. Notice work being done all in the Lansdowne area where I lived. Called once and left a message that their company had just done work around the corner from my home. Still never received a response. Every time I call I get the answering machine and leave a message. Tired of trying to do improvements to my home and dealing with people who do not want my business. First contact was very professional. Don't understand, when work was completed, paid company the amount quoted right away, never tried to request a lesser amount. Very disappointed. Contracted with Liberati Concrete to replace 4 cracked sidewalk squares in front of my house last fall. I was pleased with their work until someone accidentally walked through one of sidewalk squares leaving large foot and pawprints. Liberati had not properly cordoned off the area with tape or cones otherwise this wouldn't have happened. After contacting the owner 2x to request that the square be fixed, someone finally came and slapped on some additional cement to try to hide the footprints. The resulting sidewalk is sloppy (wish I could append a photo). The owner has been unresponsive when sent the photo and politely asked to please replace it when in the area doing another job. Therefore, I would not recommend Liberati Cement due to their poor workmanship and communication. read more

This company was hired to repair/replace sidewalk for a neighbor whose property pavement adjoins my property. The workers that were sent out were extremely nasty (older guy) racial microaggressions; dumped all of their work stuff on my lawn and blocked my driveway, and chipped the adjoining pavement of my driveway for the neighbors work next door. I called the D. Liberati office and spk to Lisa; who was nice. The owner (Dino) came out and was extremely rude stating that he wasn't going to fix what his worker damaged; and blamed me saying I was trying to get over on him and threatened to report me to the municipality for U&O fines; all because I asked him to properly fix what was damaged. Fixing it requires cutting out the damaged area. The worker chipped the concrete underneath; so there is a chip on the upside now as well also. The owner placed a black goo substance to cover it up; instead of cutting out the piece over even a sliver of the concrete that was chipped. THAT THEY CHIPPED. Very rude. Poor quality. The new concrete of the sidewalk of the neighbor next door is already breaking. I told the owner (Dino); had his company did a good job, then I would have used them for other things. Now they won't get my business because of the damage that occurred to my property whilst hired to do the neighbors' property; so that the neighbors could sell their house. read more

They were able to come out much sooner than expected and did a very nice job without damaging any of the property. I'm very satisfied both with the quality of the blocks they did along with the professionalism of the workers who showed up to complete the work. The lady I spoke with at the office was very nice and made me feel comfortable going with their company. I will certainly use D. I would have loved nothing more than to give this guy a contract, have the work done, and give a 5 star rating. But it's kind of hard to do with someone who never shows up. Got this guy on the phone twice, he said he was coming out and never showed and never called back. Gave his estimate over the phone. Sounded way too casual on the phone. As if we were bothering him while driving his truck on a sunny day. I don't know how his workmanship is, but as a business man, forget it. read more

We have used Liberati in the past and they were wonderful, efficient and timely. NOT THIS TIME! We have been waiting WEEKS to have a job completed! We have left at least a dozen messages without a reply! We have no confirmation that the job is done and we need to have it re-inspected by the township with less than 10 days to go to settlement!!!
