His quote was also much higher than what Bander offered and in my opinion he wanted to do a lot of unnecessary work for my situation. The issue I had was mortar erosion between bricks on a home I just purchased recently. When I called Bander my call was answered immediately and all communication thereafter was timely. When I first called, I spoke to Mike who got me scheduled for an estimate. Mike was able to come to my property quickly and was on time. Mike was very professional and took time to go over the work needing to be done. The price he quoted me was very fair and I put down the required deposit and told him to go ahead and put me on the schedule. I was told that it would be a few weeks before they could come do the work which was fine. I was actually scheduled much sooner than I thought I would be. The work done went above and beyond anything I was expecting. Since we had agreed to only fix the problem areas lacking mortar between bricks I thought only the really bad spots would be fixed. That said, everything that even looked like it needed work was tended to and the job was so good that all the repairs they did blend in very well with what was already there. The work done was very meticulous and attention was given to every detail. Once the work was completed great care was taken to clean up the area as well. Overall I am extremely happy with the work done by Bander and will definitely contact them in the future for more work when the time comes.

BEWARE! After a second attempt (because the first one went so badly.. by their own admission)…read morethey still didn't do it right. They "refinished steps" that lead to the front of my house and all the steps are different heights making them a tripping hazard for everyone who walks up them. Called the township and learned the standards and none were applied when they did the steps. You'd think since this is their business they would measure and stay within them. They also built two steps from scratch and the first one is a whopping 9.6 inches high and the second one is 8.6. A whole inch difference. Now when I go to sell my house it is not up to code and I have to have them ripped out and started from scratch. Thanks APM.... you just cost me thousands to do business with you. When my family, friends and neighbors see my steps they say "WTF happened"? When you look at the pictures take note that they wet the stone/cement to make it look better.
