I called a few different folks for estimates and received nothing but a list of problems with the repair. First I was told that my PECO lines were too close to the hole and I had to have PECO shut off the electric or move the wire mounts entirely. Then I was given a quote for $700-$1000.00, which is ABSURD considering if I was brave enough I could climb my ass on the roof and fix it my damn self with a little brut force and a screw. Thankfully McCabe and Son were able to come out like a day after I called them to give me a quote. They said it was $225 for them to fix it. When I asked about the proximity of the PECO lines the dude turns to me (I think it was Jim?) and goes, "Well, I don't PLAN to touch it!" I really can't say enough good things about McCabe. They are just straight shooters, no bullsh!t. They get the job done for a reasonable price and don't drag things out for weeks or try to extort you for hundreds of dollars. The fellow fixed everything up nice and pretty for me today and now I don't have to worry about unwanted intruders coming into my house. Just stop wasting your time with other companies and call Scott McCabe.

He actually spent several hours trying to figure out how to get it working, but the thing just wouldn't work. He didn't give up though! Scott got the manufacturer involved. Today, a technician from that company replaced the motor unit in the dead skylight and replaced the motor unit in our other skylight even though it was working fine. And it was all covered by the warranty. Wow! We are so impressed with Scott's service mentality. This guy is gold. I mean, he did all the legwork to get this repair done. We did nothing. He took ownership of the problem 100%. He also just did our neighbor's roof and our neighbor was also pleased with his McCabe Roofing experience. Scott is terrific to do business with. I'd give him a 6th star if I could.

We had to re-do our roof quite a few years ago, and then had them come out several times for periodic recoating since then (and probably due for another). They are very responsive and communication is good. Costs seem to be in line with the market in general. We didn't have leaks beforehand and it doesn't leak now so all I can say about that is so far so good. We have recommended them to many of our neighbors and probably eight or 10 other houses nearby have used their services and everything I have heard has been very positive. Hopefully I don't need any roof repair in the future but if I do I would use them.

I gave my address and never heard back, so I moved on to another company. Today, 10 days after they never responded after I gave my address, while in the middle of a meeting, I hear a bang outside and my dog freaks out. I go outside to find two men with a ladder against the front of my house and climbing to the roof! I had no idea they were coming and they were fully on their way to climbing up my house without my permission! The problem wasn't even on the roof, so I have no idea what they would have done once they got up there. When I messaged the company to say I didn't appreciate them coming unannounced and unscheduled, I was told it was my fault for not specifying that I expected a call before they showed up! Wild. Do NOT send this company your address--even for an estimate--or else they may randomly show up to your house and climb up on your roof unannounced and they will go up there whether you are home or not. Then if it bothers you they will blame YOU!

This flat part of the roof had leaked during major rainstorms about 2-3 times over the last 5 years. Our home warranty company repaired it every time and the repairs would last about 2 years. But earlier this year it leaked again, and our home warranty company advised us that this entire section of our roof needed to be replaced. The plywood underneath was rotten and, to make matters worse, the leak was funneling right down into our newly remodeled master bathroom. So I went to Yelp and reached out to a bunch of local roofing contractors for quotes. I provided pictures from the most recent repair. Some contractors never responded after that. Some said they would come by for quotes and never showed. But my experience with Supreme from the start was impressive, so they ended up getting the job. Noni responded to me via Yelp immediately after I reached out for a quote to say that he was leaving the country the very next day to go on vacation, but that he would be in touch as soon as he returned in a couple weeks. In those two weeks, I had two other roofers come by for estimates. One spent about 5 mins on my roof and sent me an estimate within an hour of leaving. When my husband and I read it, it didn't sound like much more than an elaborate patch job, so we set that one aside. The other roofer was so stumped by the problem that he felt like the best solution was to rip this flat part of the roof out entirely and reconstruct the pitch in this area, which meant he needed to get an architect involved. The potential cost of that freaked us out a little, but it sounded like the best possible solution. Despite following up with him several times, he never responded or provided an estimate. Just when I was losing hope and feeling like I needed to contact a whole new gaggle of roofers, Noni returned from vacation and called me. I had literally forgotten that he was going to call, and I probably would have reminded myself to contact him again when I went back into my Yelp account, but I was so impressed that he remembered to call me! He was up on my roof checking things out within a couple days. And he seemed stumped by the issue of the flat roof too (nobody seemed to understand why the builder chose to make this part of the roof flat), but he asked for a couple days to think through a good, long-lasting solution for us and provide an estimate. We had an estimate in hand the very next day that seemed like a solid, middle-of-the-road solution, with a price tag of less than $5,000. We read and reread this estimate and it really seemed like he would be addressing our issues and then some. He even found an issue with our flashing around our chimney that he offered to fix for us too! So great! Noni gets the job! Now we had to schedule it. Between his existing commitments and our end of summer vacation, and weather, we had to reschedule a couple times. This was not a problem, as Noni was extremely attentive and communicative throughout the process. He was scheduled to start the job the day before Ida came through, but the job he was trying to wrap up went longer than anticipated. When he told me he wasn't going to make it, I expressed concern (ok, I was freaking out) about the rain Ida was going to be bringing, and the already-failing recent repairs to my roof (it had leaked again while we were on vacation). Without hesitation, he offered to come and put a tarp on our roof to hold us over until the next week when they could get here. Well we all know how Ida turned out. Thank god he tarped my roof - and it held!! Not a single drop of water in my new bathroom!! The day after Labor Day, the stars finally aligned, and Noni and his crew were out here around 8am and went till about 6pm. Throughout the day he was communicating with us and keeping us in the loop and sending us pictures. Also, I have to add, he has just an unfailingly positive attitude and always a smile on his face. The absolute nicest, sweetest guy. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, especially after our run of surly contractors this year. I will never fail to recommend his company to anyone asking for a roofer. And we are already considering giving him the job of repairing or replacing our barn roof. Or new flat roof has a 10yr warranty (not offered by any other contractor) and my husband (also in construction) went up on the roof at the end of the day and was extremely pleased with the workmanship. (Pictures attached!) It is a huge relief to us that we were able to find a good, honest, communicative roofing contractor, and I highly, highly recommend this company for your roofing needs!

I have worked with two other contractors recently, and I can honestly say that they don't come even remotely close to the quality of work that Carlos and his crew provided. Carlos and Victor remodeled my entire bathroom, removing and reinstalling new tile, a vanity, mirror, light fixture, toilet and other bathroom accessories in addition to spackling and painting. From start to finish, Carlos demonstrated an extreme attention to detail and a genuine commitment to making sure everything was done properly. He does not cut corners, and he takes the time to do things the right way even when it requires extra effort. For example, he noticed that my bathroom floor was not properly leveled, something that could have easily been overlooked or simply worked around. Instead, he took the time to correct the problem and make sure everything was properly leveled before continuing with the project. He even painted door trim outside of my bathroom to make sure it transitioned well with the bathroom, something that was not his responsibility. That level of care and thoroughness is exactly what you hope for in a contractor. The spackling and painting were absolutely immaculate. I have hired professional painters in the past who did not come close to the quality of the paint job Carlos delivered. Painting is 90% prep work: sanding and spackling. You can tell when a contractor understands the difference prep work makes, and Carlos and his group certainly does. Carlos and his crew were also kind, respectful, professional, and a pleasure to have working in my home. They were extremely conscientious about keeping everything clean throughout the project. In fact, I commented to my husband that my house looked cleaner after they left than it did before they started! Another thing that really stood out to me was the pricing. His prices are more than fair considering the quality of work, attention to detail, and level of care he provides. You TRULY feel that Carlos takes pride in his work and wants his customers to be completely satisfied with the finished product. It is VERY rare to find that these days. I could not be happier with the work C&N Construction LLC did for me. If you are are fussy about the details and looking for a contractor you can trust, who is meticulous, honest, thorough, reasonably priced, and genuinely cares about doing the job right, I would HIGHLY recommend Carlos and his crew. They exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely use them again for future projects.
