Bill responded on the same day that I messaged him to request an on-site estimate to repair or replace the capping strip. The next day, he came to the house twice--first while my wife and I had made a brief run to the grocery store, when he quickly assessed the situation and called me with his proposed solution, and he returned shortly thereafter. Unlike other better known (and highly marketed) companies that insisted that the strip was not repairable and would need to be replaced with a custom-made new piece to be installed on a separate appointment date, Bill was able to restore the piece to its original shape and secure it in place--all in less than an hour. In his work, Bill is honest, professional and incredibly reasonable. He literally saved me at least $400 for the bare minimum replacement cost proposed by other companies and just about double that if I had agreed to the "better" option of replacing additional stretches of flashing. I would not hesitate to use Havertown Roofing and Siding again and would highly recommend it with confidence to others as well.

I got quotes from five concrete contractors including Criscuolo Concrete. They were the lowest by…read more$200 so I went with them. The work looked good and they were prompt and professional. All was well or so I thought. The work was done in the summer of 2021. After the winter of 2022 I noticed some of their work was cracking and chipping. I called and left a message and within a few days they came out and inspected the work and agreed to fix most but not all of the issues. I was told that they do not have a warranty for their work since they didn't mix the cement, who knew? I never asked about this and I incorrectly assumed they did. Perhaps this is standard for concrete contractors so make sure you ask any potential hire. At the time of the initial inspection they made a saw cut in one of the slabs and said they would be back the following week to finish the repair. After a month, yes a month, I called them and left a message. To their credit, they did come out and finish the repair. The issue was that it took five additional phone calls and almost six months to complete the 3 hour repair. I didn't complain about any of this or the small areas they would not fix since I wanted to get what I felt I was owed. I told them I had used salt over the winter and they said that is probably the reason for the damage but they never told me after the job not to use salt for at least a year after the work was done. I am not a professional concrete contractor so I had no idea. I suggested to them that they hand out maintenance cards warning the general public of the do's and don'ts. Finally, the slab they did replace was originally white but the replacement slab was grey, so it doesn't match the rest of they job. When I asked them about this they told me not to worry since the replaced slab would "turn white" within a few weeks. Here we are 2 months later and it's still as grey as it ever was. Take from this what you will, these are the facts of my situation and I have no axe to grind with them. I have seen many positive reviews online and I cannot comment on others interaction with them. They probably are a good contractor and I realize even the best of companies have issues from time to time but it pains me that I had to be one of them.

DO NOT Use this service. Lets start with the lack of communication from the Owner of this business…read more Never once returns phone calls, and texts are rarely answered within reasonable time. Driveway was poorly sealed the first time, cracks were never sealed(although this was part of their contract for work). Came back and slapped crack sealant on top of the full driveway seal. This resulted in stripes and un-even surface. So I demand they re-do the entire job. Upon the second attempt, before even starting the job, they knock over my Mailbox with the sealant truck. The Owner has lost complete oversight of the work, the quality and the professionalism of his crew. TAKE A CHANCE AND HAVE DYER BROTHERS SEAL YOUR DRIVEWAY? READ ABOVE ONE MORE TIME.
