This family owned company accomplished the impossible when they very carefully removed huge dead limbs from our 100 foot Tulip Poplar. Our woodland garden is fulled with valuable, rare, native plants. As they and their employees worked they went out of their way to protect our garden from damage as though it was their own. We had a dead ash tree in our backyard that needed to be removed. It was pretty tall (maybe 60ft?), and located not super close to the street (like 250ft?). We spoke to a few companies for estimates, and Mynor's was the most responsive and also the cheapest, but it still seemed expensive (but I'm a new home owner, so I have no idea how much these things should cost). I really appreciated how punctual and responsive Mynor was. He also seemed competent and knowledgable, and like he wasn't trying to get more work out of me. He even had his guys get some dead branches from my neighbor's yard that weren't part of the job, just some old branches he'd wanted removed but couldn't justify bringing a chipper out for. I'd asked Mynor how long it would take and he said all day, but it only took him and his crew of three others from 7:30AM to 12PM to cut the tree, remove it, and trim another tree. He personally climbed to the top of each tree and cut it down piece by piece. My only complaint was that they let most of the wood fall freely and slam down into the lawn, leaving behind divots. I'll admit, my lawn wasn't perfect to begin with, but now it's got some patches where the grass is missing. If you want them to preserve your lawn, I guess you've gotta ask. I had shared a tree that needed to be cut down and another that needed to be trimmed. I contacted Mynor's Tree Experts and that was the best move I could've made. I initially called 2 other companies. The first was extremely pricey. The second, had a reasonable price. We scheduled an appointment for the following week. When I called to confirm the day before the work was scheduled to be done, the guy acted as if he'd never been to my home and had no clue what I was talking about. Finally, I called Mynor's and I'm so happy I did. They were located in my area, so they were able to come out within hours. The pricing was unbelievable! Literally too good to be true. That isn't the best part though. They told me they were able to do the job the following week. When they got back to their office, they had a cancellation for the next day. They called me tp see if I wanted the appointment. I took the appointment for 7:30am. Not only did they show up, they showed up early! They had a nice crew of guys. They got straight to work. The team was so pleasant and professional. I felt so bad, there was a beehive in the tree that we didn't know about and they were attacked. One of the guys was bit so badly his eye was starting to close. They never complained and never stopped working! I tried everything I could to nurse their bee stings. They deserved it. They cut down the shared tree first. The the tree I wanted to be trimmed, when the looked at again, they realized it was split. They advised me to cut the tree down, again, THE PRICE! In total, they removed 2 trees from my property and 2 trees that were growing into my neighbors garage. The cleanup was great. They even took some branches I had piled up against my garage that had nothing to do with their work. I highly recommend Mynor's Tree Experts. I had two Ailanthus (Tree of Heaven) trees behind my West Philly house that were covered with Spotted Lanternfly eggs laid by last summer's bugs. I generally hate the idea of removing trees, but after doing a lot research, I concluded that leaving these two trees intact would lead to yearly lanternfly infestations, which would threaten the health of the other trees in the neighborhood (and create a perpetual nuisance having to deal with all those bugs). After a false start with another tree service (mostly my fault; I'm not always the easiest customer), I was referred to Mynor's Tree Experts, and scheduled the work with Maria over the phone. I explained exactly what I wanted done, and a few days later, they arrived on time (early actually; after calling to ask if it was ok to arrive early), and removed both trees in an afternoon for a very reasonable price. I couldn't be happier with the results. If you have one or more of these trees behind your house, and there are light-colored ovals on the underside of the branches, then you almost surely have a lanternfly infestation. They will likely hatch in mid-May, and you will have to deal with them until the last of them die in October/November, having laid another year's worth of eggs. I very strongly recommend 1) removing these particular trees, 2) doing it before they hatch, and 3) calling Mynor's to do it. They truly did an outstanding job. read more

Found this company through Yelp for downed tree removal. A tree had fallen at my rental property that I needed removed. Although they came out quickly to quote a price for the job communication was lacking. After scheduling a date to do the job, I was told payment in full (in cash, check, or zelle) was due before the job started. Each of the named methods don't offer any consumer protection which is a red flag. The woman I spoke to kept referencing "bad experiences in the city" as to why payment was due up front. If that's how you want to run your business, fine, but you should state your payment terms upfront. read more
