Loved our 2 night stay at the Lark. The location is perfect - downtown steps away from shops, restaurants, and bars. All of the employees were super friendly, the lobby was adorable and had popcorn and coffee/tea, and the rooms were great!

Amazing hotel with wonderful service, I couldn't recommend it enough. It's located right in the downtown area, so you can basically walk everywhere. The rooms are super cute and clean. They also provide you with free water and coffee in the lobby area, as well as popcorn throughout the day. They have a cute outside patio area with a fireplace for chillier nights. I had to work the day I was leaving (until 4pm because that's when I was meeting my friends to head down to Big Sky), so they were kind enough to give me a later check out and then let me work from the lobby until it was time to leave Bozeman. They even provided me with some bear spray for my hike... apparently they had extra in the back from people leaving it behind, since you can't bring it on flights. I'm glad I stayed here during my visit, and I would choose it again!

Very cool decor...

I had the pleasure of staying at The Lark last night. I can't complain about a single aspect of the property. The front desk staff was professional, kind and friendly. I was incredibly impressed while watching them deal with a difficult guest with some (in my opinion) ridiculous requests. They were gracious and accommodating. Very impressive. My room was impeccably clean and wonderfully appointed with lavish linens and thirsty towels. The shower was gorgeous and the body/hair products are really lovely. The valet system also works so well. The property is located in the center of Main Street so there is no need to drive anywhere. It's walking distance to clubs, restaurants, bars, shops...seriously cool place. I'm very grateful for my night there and will absolutely be back.

I travel for work and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This hotel has by far the comfiest bed / bedding I've ever felt in my life. Everything is extremely clean and nice. I recommend.

Terrible experience. Super loud rooms, walls are paper thin and can hear everything outside and in neighboring rooms. They have complimentary ear plugs in the room for this exact reason-- so if you don't like wearing ear plugs don't stay here. Also bed frames are made of wood, but are now very dated and dangerous. Corner piece was full of broken sharp wood and cut my leg in the middle of the night. Pictures attached. I do not recommend staying here unless you are getting a giant bargain rate. Front desk Service was good, location is great. Those were the positives.

I have always wanted to stay at the Lark, and finally got the chance. Great location on Main Street, right across from the Baxter Hotel and awesome Bacchus Pub, and walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, bars, and coffee shops. The architecture and vibe is very cool and modern, and the rooms have a great design and layout; love the little desk area, and long shelf for suitcases and bags. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary coffee and the in the morning is a nice touch, too. Totally recommend!

THE LARK was AWESOME. I was unsure of a few things. As far as shampoo I really wanted to take it home. But didn't want to be charged a lot of money. I wish that would've been more clear. Not having a small microwave or mini fridge was a bit of a challenge sometimes as I'm a person that's always on the go. The noise wasn't a problem. It's a college town and if you complain about the loud cars driving by, I mean what do you expect from a hotel on a street, off of Main Street. I mean come on. The staff was AMAZING. You can text them any questions, request, or valet. All of the staff were funny and very kind. It was such a great experience. The bed was so comfy when I buy a house I'm calling you guys so I can buy the same pillows and mattress. Y'all are so awesome it's insane. Thanks for the amazing stay!!! I can't thank you guys enough for the modern room I was able to stay in, it was truly gorgeous!

If I had to describe our stay at The LARK, I would say the rooms were quirky (in the best way), it's centrally located and the staff is all about customer service. We had an awesome trip to Bozeman because if this hotel. We will only stay here moving forward. I highly recommend The LARK! It also doesn't hurt to have a permanent ice cream truck in the parking lot!

Great coffee downstairs!

Great location. Great staff. One hiccup and it was handled immediately. Best spit in Bozeman. We will be back.

Chic hotel in the thick of downtown. The best beds and linens we have ever experienced in a hotel.

I have always been interested in the restaurants available in the Armory but I always thought I…read morewould feel out of place being there. This morning I decided to take some friends and myself to Fielding's. First, the ambiance of the space is absolutely beautiful. In a world full of sad beige decor, this restaurant utilizes the given space perfectly. With olive green booths, maximalist tile flooring, and beautiful paintings covering the walls, this place has character! Second, is the service. My group and I were taken care of by Isabella, who was absolutely delightful. She was kind, attentive, and incredibly knowledgable about any and all food options + other inquiries. Last, but CERTAINLY not least was the food. You can tell when love is put into a dish and let me tell you, this food made me believe all the people in that kitchen were infatuated with me. During the time we were there, the breakfast special was a Banana Foster Waffle and I honestly have no words to describe how unbelievable it tasted. The chef, Jason, is INCREDIBLY talented and a true delight. It is clear that the people who work here truly enjoy their job. I could not have asked for a better experience with my friends and the staff. Being Bozeman born and raised, its always been hard for me to find a reason to go out for food because of all of the overwhelming options we have now. This place will now be my number one recommendation for anyone who asks "What is the best breakfast place in Bozeman?". Thank you Isabella and Jason for making the experience so wonderful!

To be quite honest, I don't think I'd stay here again when in Bozeman, depending on the circumstances. The hotel is nicely situated near Main Street and is an easy walk to many of the shoppes and restaurants in the area. Checking in was fairly easy and the person working the desk was extremely informative and friendly. The lobby was decorated nicely, with plenty of seating. It was strange that there were just stairs up to the front door, the accessible entrance was all the way around the building. We checked out other areas by the lobby. You can walk up to the balcony of the theatre and take a look at it from there. It was being decorated for Nutcracker brunch so it was super cute when we saw it. We visited the restaurant and both the bars. We also joined the social hour a couple of times. The social hour is great and I appreciated that they did this. We went up to the pool but didn't swim. It was nicely heated so you could be in it year-round. Our room was clean and smelled nice when we entered. The bed was comfortable and clean. We were on the 8th floor so there were no people sleeping above us so it was nice and quiet after the bar closed. For some of the flaws, I booked a mountain view and would not do that if staying here again. The train horn was super loud and went on all night. The shower leaked and the water landed on the huge metal plate over the drain. It was the loudest thing ever and we ended up having to put a towel in the shower to dampen the sound in order for us to sleep. Also, the fire alarm had a really erratic light that made no sense and sometimes lit the whole room up in an eerie green light. These flaws were fairly manageable. The worst thing (and the reason I might not stay in this hotel again) was late check out. They do it "first come, first serve" here, meaning you have to call around 7am to try to get a late check out, which is just given to you, no question about WHEN you need to check out. We decided to just hang out at the airport for the rest of our time because our late check out was just one hour. They also don't preemptively re-key your card, you have to wait until you can't get into your room anymore.

Just check out my pics... clean, adorable, comfortable!! Beds were great. I did get a suite so we had extra room, and it's probably the only room I would rent again as it is so absolutely lovely. Vintagey and mid century modern I cannot get enough of it. Tiny details everywhere you look. Staying for only one night is tragic, and I might cancel our 5 star hotel anniversary celebration last day of vaca splurge stay next week when we fly home just to stay here again. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Price is a little bit high but I think that's everywhere these days right but so worth it. Little bit of street noise but honestly nothing to really mention but I didn't hear any neighbors, not sure if that is the usual or not but I was extremely satisfied and happy and hope when we return I have the same experience. Be warned the cafe attached makes the parking lot completely full but it clears out after breakfast at least it did on a Saturday so not sure how that works for guests if they can't find parking! SIMPLY THE BEST.

We got a cozy two-room suite, which gave us privacy and saved some dollars. We were on the second floor, with an indoor-facing balcony with several chairs, opening onto the high-ceiling hall, with soothing "white-noise" from a pool full of giant koi goldfish. Cool! The swimming pool was nice, with windows to the outside so it was bright. Clean pool, and clean pool area. it was big enough. I think there were five hot tubs! Breakfast was pretty good. Hot eggs, sausage links, slightly spicier smoked sausage slices (yum!), grits, potatoes. Biscuits! Also a pancake machine! That was a little slow when everyone was there, but it was fun, especially for the kids. Good tasting hot coffee. A wide-open high-ceiling dining area. There's large fireplace in the lobby, of course not lit in July (2026). The top of the walls at reception are decorated all around with antlered mounted trophies. We loved the log-cabin look.
