Wow, what a super cool modern-vintage hotel in the heart of Bozeman! We arrived after a VERY LONG drive, and we were admittedly cranky and tired. The front desk staff were AMAZING. They were friendly and welcomed us with an upgraded room and great food/drink recommendations. There is a weird and unexpected valet/parking policy but honestly, we don't care about paying to park because you have to in most major cities. Our room was fabulous, with tons of room and cool features. The bed was like a cloud! We slept so hard and enjoyed our brief stay in Bozeman - we would stay again! 10/10!

Very cool decor...

I had the pleasure of staying at The Lark last night. I can't complain about a single aspect of the property. The front desk staff was professional, kind and friendly. I was incredibly impressed while watching them deal with a difficult guest with some (in my opinion) ridiculous requests. They were gracious and accommodating. Very impressive. My room was impeccably clean and wonderfully appointed with lavish linens and thirsty towels. The shower was gorgeous and the body/hair products are really lovely. The valet system also works so well. The property is located in the center of Main Street so there is no need to drive anywhere. It's walking distance to clubs, restaurants, bars, shops...seriously cool place. I'm very grateful for my night there and will absolutely be back.

I travel for work and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This hotel has by far the comfiest bed / bedding I've ever felt in my life. Everything is extremely clean and nice. I recommend.

Terrible experience. Super loud rooms, walls are paper thin and can hear everything outside and in neighboring rooms. They have complimentary ear plugs in the room for this exact reason-- so if you don't like wearing ear plugs don't stay here. Also bed frames are made of wood, but are now very dated and dangerous. Corner piece was full of broken sharp wood and cut my leg in the middle of the night. Pictures attached. I do not recommend staying here unless you are getting a giant bargain rate. Front desk Service was good, location is great. Those were the positives.

I have always wanted to stay at the Lark, and finally got the chance. Great location on Main Street, right across from the Baxter Hotel and awesome Bacchus Pub, and walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, bars, and coffee shops. The architecture and vibe is very cool and modern, and the rooms have a great design and layout; love the little desk area, and long shelf for suitcases and bags. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary coffee and the in the morning is a nice touch, too. Totally recommend!

THE LARK was AWESOME. I was unsure of a few things. As far as shampoo I really wanted to take it home. But didn't want to be charged a lot of money. I wish that would've been more clear. Not having a small microwave or mini fridge was a bit of a challenge sometimes as I'm a person that's always on the go. The noise wasn't a problem. It's a college town and if you complain about the loud cars driving by, I mean what do you expect from a hotel on a street, off of Main Street. I mean come on. The staff was AMAZING. You can text them any questions, request, or valet. All of the staff were funny and very kind. It was such a great experience. The bed was so comfy when I buy a house I'm calling you guys so I can buy the same pillows and mattress. Y'all are so awesome it's insane. Thanks for the amazing stay!!! I can't thank you guys enough for the modern room I was able to stay in, it was truly gorgeous!

If I had to describe our stay at The LARK, I would say the rooms were quirky (in the best way), it's centrally located and the staff is all about customer service. We had an awesome trip to Bozeman because if this hotel. We will only stay here moving forward. I highly recommend The LARK! It also doesn't hurt to have a permanent ice cream truck in the parking lot!

Great coffee downstairs!

My mom and I needed somewhere to stay for one night to kick off our week-long trip in Montana/Wyoming, and the Lark ended up being an absolutely perfect start... wish we had planned on being in Bozeman a night or two longer, honestly. Awesome location downtown, thoughtfully-approached minimalist design, spotlessly clean. There's a delightful coffee shop right downstairs and it's walking distance from great shops and dining. You can take a quick drive to beautiful hiking--would recommend Lava Lake. You're not going to want to hang out in the room all day because they're a little small (nothing crazy), but I like to think that's on purpose because why wouldn't you want to be outside?! Thanks for a great stay!

The staff was accommodating and allowed an early check-in, which was much appreciated. Rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. One downside: Sky Shed was closed for a private event during our stay, which was disappointing if you're hoping to enjoy the rooftop. Also, the in-room lighting is terrible--easily the worst I've experienced in a hotel. If you're someone who does makeup or needs good lighting, bring a lighted mirror. Overall, a nice stay with great vibes and comfort, just a few practical misses.

To be quite honest, I don't think I'd stay here again when in Bozeman, depending on the circumstances. The hotel is nicely situated near Main Street and is an easy walk to many of the shoppes and restaurants in the area. Checking in was fairly easy and the person working the desk was extremely informative and friendly. The lobby was decorated nicely, with plenty of seating. It was strange that there were just stairs up to the front door, the accessible entrance was all the way around the building. We checked out other areas by the lobby. You can walk up to the balcony of the theatre and take a look at it from there. It was being decorated for Nutcracker brunch so it was super cute when we saw it. We visited the restaurant and both the bars. We also joined the social hour a couple of times. The social hour is great and I appreciated that they did this. We went up to the pool but didn't swim. It was nicely heated so you could be in it year-round. Our room was clean and smelled nice when we entered. The bed was comfortable and clean. We were on the 8th floor so there were no people sleeping above us so it was nice and quiet after the bar closed. For some of the flaws, I booked a mountain view and would not do that if staying here again. The train horn was super loud and went on all night. The shower leaked and the water landed on the huge metal plate over the drain. It was the loudest thing ever and we ended up having to put a towel in the shower to dampen the sound in order for us to sleep. Also, the fire alarm had a really erratic light that made no sense and sometimes lit the whole room up in an eerie green light. These flaws were fairly manageable. The worst thing (and the reason I might not stay in this hotel again) was late check out. They do it "first come, first serve" here, meaning you have to call around 7am to try to get a late check out, which is just given to you, no question about WHEN you need to check out. We decided to just hang out at the airport for the rest of our time because our late check out was just one hour. They also don't preemptively re-key your card, you have to wait until you can't get into your room anymore.

This location is close to the highway only a few miles from the downtown area. You're away from the crowd but close enough if you need anything. The decor and ambiance is what you would expect, outdoorsy, wooden, chic, with a medium high end vibe. The rooms are nice with a small fridge, coffee bar area, a desk that I have used and needed many mornings and nights. The hotel staff is superb. The gym is better than most. I arrived earlier than expected, and was pleasantly surprised that a room was available right away. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially mike, he even recommended a great local spot for lunch. The lobby was inviting and thoughtfully stocked with complementary coffee and water. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very cozy bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. I also used the gym twice during my stay, and it exceeded my expectations. It was clean, stocked with towels and water, and featured excellent equipment, a brand new peloton bike. There was also a nice indoor pool. The complementary breakfast each morning was fresh, satisfying and a great way to start the day. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to everything . I rented a car, I was a bit disappointed that guests are charged for parking. I do hope the hotel will consider waiving parking fees in the future. After I returned home, I noticed a charge on my bill from the hotel restaurant, a charge i hadn't made. I called the hotel, and they assured me they would look into it. Just two days later, i received a call from Ryan Bates, the assistant general manager, who personally apologized for the inconvenience and promptly issued a refund. That level of customer service truly stands out and ledt a lasting impression. All in all, this was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again next time im in Bozeman.

Vintagey and mid century modern I cannot get enough of it. Tiny details everywhere you look. Staying for only one night is tragic, and I might cancel our 5 star hotel anniversary celebration last day of vaca splurge stay next week when we fly home just to stay here again. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Price is a little bit high but I think that's everywhere these days right but so worth it. Little bit of street noise but honestly nothing to really mention but I didn't hear any neighbors, not sure if that is the usual or not but I was extremely satisfied and happy and hope when we return I have the same experience. Be warned the cafe attached makes the parking lot completely full but it clears out after breakfast at least it did on a Saturday so not sure how that works for guests if they can't find parking!
