Efficient Comfort was able to come the same day, diagnose the problem, and fix everything at a very reasonable price. The entire experience was smooth from start to finish. While the technicians themselves were friendly, my overall experience with Summit was disappointing…read more-- particularly given that they had been highly recommended by a neighbor. After the fourth visit and two failed inspections, I asked to speak with the owner. He said he'd show up on the final day and didn't. Not showing up after committing to do so speaks volumes. On multiple occasions, employees attempted to -- or did -- walk through my home beyond where work was being completed with their shoes on. This is a basic courtesy that should not have needed to be addressed. On the final day, an employee complained about the time spent waiting for the inspector to arrive. After five+ weeks of doing exactly that myself, I couldn't help but laugh internally. Most importantly, Summit advertises a "100% Right or 100% Free" guarantee on their website. These are not complicated words -- 100% means 100%, and free means free. There is no secondary meaning to either. When I raised this, I was told it essentially means they will keep trying until the job is done correctly -- which is admirable in theory, but falls well short of what "100% Free" implies when a customer has invested THOUSANDS of dollars. After reading the other reviews, I'm hoping the problem with my AC wasn't just a leak somewhere that could have been fixed for much less. I would strongly encourage potential customers to clarify what that guarantee truly means before signing a contract, and to get everything in writing.

Had my first call with True Heating & Cooling today for basic maintenance. I was super pleased with…read morethe service and especially with the tech. Mark showed up on-time and was very personable and professional. I know it seems trivial, but a clean pressed uniform, eye contact and a firm handshake mean something to me. He explained the plan before starting. He showed me before & after photos when he was done and made recommendations for future work without trying to upsell the call. I really appreciate that! I ended up signing up for the Maintenance Plan which has them come back twice a year because this is the type of company I want to do business with. Would definitely recommend True!

When people go above and beyond, they deserve the recognition…read more In all transparency, True Heating and Cooling had done previous work on our tankless water heater for the past couple years - mainly just a normal maintenance. All good work, but my quibble was follow up on some outstanding issues (mainly with a knocking noise that they didn't seem to get to the bottom of and didn't follow up) which led me to explore other companies - which unfortunately were no where near as detailed or close (actually most further) from a solution and I came them another chance and I'm glad I did. Justin helped work through some more detailed troubleshooting and provided a solid quote (detailed and quick) for solutions in a quick manner. He listened and cared. He was knowledgeable and thorough. While not only getting the issues I had resolved, was also able to resolve other code and safety issues that stemmed from the original install of the boiler. I would highly recommend True to others and will also recommend to other neighbors within my condo complex that have similar setups and might need work. Thank you both Justin and Logan - appreciate the work. (It's also interesting that they are not listed on Navien's website or BBB accredited; this is where I looked for contact information for service as they a) certainly can work / service Navien products well and b) should deserve to be accredited with BBB. Other companies that I've consulted were on both sites and didn't provide as good of service)

We had been told by another company that the evaporation coil above the furnace was so rusty that it was leaking refrigerant into it, and that it needed replacement of the capacitor and condenser fan motor. At a whopping cost of over $2,000, it was highly suspicious. They also were pushing an upgrade for an additional $700+. We needed a second opinion, and a technician from Blue Horse was available sooner than we expected. The technician stated that all of the evaporation coils that he looks at are rusted due to metal coming in contact with moisture as part of what an evaporation coil does. He then inspected the outdoor unit, hosed it off, and said our A/C was safe to turn on. The best part of the appointment: No charge!
