The tech that came out, while punctual and respectful, didn't appear to focus on and provide a suitable solution for my specific needs (I was quoted for a replacement of the pressure release valve - something outside the water heater that was making noises / having the issue). After getting advice from others, I would have had to spend more time and money as the pressure release valve would not have solved the issue. Quick response and quote, but not really what I was specifically looking / needing. Not to say I wouldn't consult them in the future for other, more general repair needs.

Thankfully I found Joe. He was knowledgeable, funny, a great guy and didn't try to upsell a thing. He replaced my water heater at a great price. While he was here my sewer was backing up when he tried to drain the water heater. He asked that we get it cleared before he finished the job. We called Homeservice plumbers and they came out, said there was a block and they would have to tear up the basement and the starting price was almost 7k. More if they found other problems and they repeatedly tried to use, used car sales tactics and scare tactics to get me to replace Joe as my plumber and destroy the basement to clear a "block". Joe recommended Colorado Sewer Service and they came out and cleared the "block" in 10 minutes for 1/50th of what they were going to charge to tear up the basement and install a new unnecessary pipe just to begin with, which I am sure they would have tried to turn into a 20k plus job. Joe did a fast and excellent job and is just a good human being. I cannot say enough good things about this man and his business. Without a doubt I will use him for every job I need in the future. However, what gets me, is that Tri Peaks doesn't actually DO plumbing; they contract this out to a 3rd Party Company, which wasn't disclosed at all. I have someone arrive and say they are from Mr. Perfect Plumber, which caused some confusion as I vetted Tri Peaks - I didn't vet Mr. Perfect Plumbing . . . The guy from Mr. Perfect Plumbing explained the situation and was nice enough - a little pushy in terms of selling, and the quote he provided was the highest (40% more than the other highest quotes (5 others) I received for this job. I would rate higher had it been disclosed they don't do plumbing and send out to a 3rd party . . .

I'm leaving this review today because I had this company work on a shower for me, work that was never done correctly. I had this company out 3 times to check the problem and they told me there was no problem. Today I found out the cement work and the sealing of the shower were done incorrectly. I'm thankful for the plumbers that have come into my house and been honest with us, we're getting good work done, work that will last years. Not half assed jobs meant to bring the plumber back collecting money, but never fixing the problem. I've saved hundreds of dollars over the last 5 years by not calling Coffman. I see now that y'all were nickel and diming my people for years. Shame on you for the crappy work you did in my house and the money you drained from my people.

Both of them were very knowledgeable on fixing the Antiquated system! They were very respectful and polite answering my questions making me feel included. I at first called Applewood who has done some HVAC work for me in the past but they would not give me an estimate over the phone. So after speaking to some of these other companies it was the same scenario--we won't quote on the phone as every job is different and they need to see it. This was the same with RooterGuy. All the people I spoke to were obviously just appointment setters. Anyway, someone from RooterGuy followed back up with me that was a plumber or at least knowledgeable about the job and he gave me range in price, which I appreciated. RooterGuy was also not going to charge me a trip fee ($29-$49 from other companies) to come look and give me an accurate estimate. So I decided to have them come out and look. The plumber that did come gave me a price that was over the high end of the range provided on the phone. We went back in forth for a minute and the plumber called back to the office and spoke to the person I had gotten that price range from. Anyway, it was decided they would do the job for $595 which was about $120 less than what was quoted from the plumber on site (or the midpoint of the range provided on the phone). They were here and could do the job and I felt like that was a fair price. There were a couple of things the plumber did that I was not happy about (hence the reason for 4 stars and not 5), but in the end it appears they did a good job and so far, no leaks. I would most likely call them again as they do seem to have slightly better pricing than some of the other Bigger names seen in Denver (Applewood, Bell, Plumbline etc).
