Stopped in for a quick bite and a cup of coffee. I tried the Thai meat pie, which I got to go, and it was warm and delicious; it was spicy with a great crust and a lot of filling. Also got an almond milk latte which was perfect for a cool day. The staff was very friendly and attentive and I will definitely return. read more

We went every morning we were in St. Augustine with our dog. Service was always super fast and friendly. The two young ladies working the counter clearly enjoy their jobs and did a awesome job making everyone feel welcome. Our favorite drinks were the Mocha Nut and the Hot Aussie. read more

Love this little coffee shop; it's small , but well maintained. Even if their chairs are taken right across the street is a beautiful shaded park with many benches or you are welcomed to sit on the grass with a cloth or nothing at all. 4 stars for a quick stop for coffee. Simple small place. I tried their iced Aussie. Coffee was good, service is pleasant and helpful. It's dog friendly, which to me is always a win because who doesn't want a cute, baby boxer laying by your feet (a customer that day). It's definitely not fancy or exquisitely decorated, but the temperature wasn't too cold and it wasn't loud for a coffee shop. There is some outside seating available and if it had been evening, I'd definitely grab a beer or wine out there on an evening, which they serve. I didn't try the food so can't say anything about that. Biggest downfall of this place is there is only one bathroom. read more

Cute little place located right next to the basilica. Great coffee, friendly staff and the press make a great stop if you want a light but satisfying lunch. Also had a great cup of cappuccino. I had the 10 oz. Honey Badger. Atmosphere is great. Electrical outlets are available inside for laptops. WiFi is reliable. Drink tasted great. They were out of skim milk so I had to settle for 2% which was a tad annoying but nonetheless a good drink. Prices are high - in fact higher than Starbucks which continues to raise their prices. A 10oz latte will set you back almost $5 -- $4.75 after taxes. Add a $1 tip and you're at almost $6. Drip coffee is much more reasonable at about $2.30 - 2.40. I have not had the food so I can't comment on the aussie pies. read more

LOVE this place! The staff is friendly and the coffee and food are fantastic. I had the Honey Badger - it was the perfect blend of sweet and cinnamon. My husband's Mocha Nut was also very tasty. The blends of flavors are very well executed. We also had a pumpkin butterscotch muffin that was out of this world. On a different day I also had 2 brekkie pies that were bursting with flavor. Ok so we were walking around downtown historic St. Augustine looking at all of the lights, when suddenly we a sign across the street light up and it says Hot Coco, so we cross the street walk in and see a line of people, this little Australian coffee/ hot coco, and pastry place was a little wonderland inside! They had Aussie pies, these wonderful desserts called Lamingtons that were made of sponge cake covered in chocolate and then rolled in coconut flakes, it just melted right in your mouth! As for the hot coco, I have never encountered a cup of hot coco that good in my life! It was so rich and creamy and since it was the nights of lights weekend they even had a hot coco bar with all the topping out in jars so that you could add whatever you wanted to jazz up your hot coco to your liking! One thing I don't recommend if you've never had it or your not an Aussie is trying the Vegemite that they have out by all of the free stuff that you can add to your treats, coffee, and coco! I thought I could handle the stuff so I took a coffee stirrer and took a big dollop of the Vegemite out and just put it in my mouth...oh the taste was awful! Other then that I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and next time I'm in St. Augustine I will definitely visit them again. read more

Well this place is really small even by St Augustine's standards. I mean if there is 5-6 seats that is a a lot. They carry coffee and some small Aussie pie's. Now that's what I came in for to tell the truth. The coffee is kind of local because it's bold bean that is roasted back in Jax right next to out Murray Hill restaurant. I prefer another locally roasted coffee you know the place. It's huge place right on the river in downtown Jax. But, the pie. They had 3 different egg based pie this morning. All egg, bacon, and a aged cheddar. 2 with a crust and the one without. That's the one I went for. I will say that this was quite good. A nice almost custard or at least heavily whipped eggs and a few good size hunks of bacon and the cheese is all mixed thought out the pie. The pie was very tasty and I'm really glad I got to eat here. The owner was very nice and I don't care what they say I just love their accent. This is a cool place and I might have to stop in again in the afternoon for their more savory pies. Hey a fat has to eat. read more
