We walked down the street and could not see any building or establishment that could be a coffee shop so we turned around and went to Luli's Cupcake. There we noticed they carry Screaming Peacock coffee so I told them about our predicament. She actually said she did the same thing when she first got to St. Augustine. Long story short, we were able to finally try their coffee since Luli's carries it! Just beware that the address listed is not an actual storefront

Thank god we walked in when there weren't any other people in the shop. We definitely took a long time trying to choose which flavors to get. Since there are literally SO many choices you can get, we decided to get the dozen of whichever donuts we could choose. The flavors I can remember exactly: Apple pie, blueberry pancake, coffee cake, Oreo cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, Elvis, peanut nutter, snick jagger, butterfinger, and others to make it up to twelve (we did get two of the same ones though). Considering they do decorate the donuts to order, they did take a little bit to come out, but they were fresh and hot when they did arrive! We immediately grabbed a table and dug in, since we didn't want to carry any around with us for the rest of the day. My favorites were any of the ones with peanut butter or candy bars. The rest were good, but I feel like most of them I was done with after a bite or two. They were sweet and rich, but I love sweet and rich, but some of the flavors just weren't hitting like the peanut nutter or butterfinger one lol. They certainly weren't cheap either. They are pretty small; we were trying to take small bites so that all five of us could get a little of each donut (so you can guess how well that went over lol). Anyway, it was fun and funky in there and the staff was really helpful!

I appreciate that there are ample seating and tables both inside and out as I can imagine at peak times it gets busy! The staff is incredibly kind and very quick when getting orders out. I have yet to use the online ordering but I'm sure that would be helpful if you need to place an order quickly for pickup. I always order the green goddess and it's extremely refreshing since it has coconut & jasmine syrup, with green tea and your milk of choice! It's perfect in our year round heat . Always a good time visiting here!

What attracted my attention was the pastries that looked like they were actually baked from scratch and not the usual packaged goods served up by Starbucks and other coffee chains. That being said, the scone I purchased was horrible. While the texture was accurate, it tasted as if there wasn't any flavor whatsoever. Anyone who's had aa real scone knows what I'm talking about. While they sell a delightful cream to accompany it, I should stand alone in taste and flavor.

Not so easy to find, but, once found, hard to forget. 50 pound jute sacks of fresh coffee beans sit on the floor near the entrance. The smell of fresh roasting coffee beans is heavenly. When you buy a pound or two of coffee here expect to be quizzed on your tastes and how you prepare your coffee (I use a French Press.) Each order is custom mixed, custom ground, and even the labels are made especially for each order. My tastes have changed and it's great to have a real pro advise and suggest various combinations. I now have a "special" breakfast coffee and a lovely light fruity after dinner flavor in decaf. (I never thought of coffee beans as a fruit but it's easy to taste when everything is so fresh.) This is not cheap coffee. I save Nuanz Coffee for special occasions or for when I just need the right finish to a great dinner. I keep my coffee wrapped in a plastic bag in the back of the freezer. On the bright side- the price point was excellent & I enjoyed the small patio outside. Also the matcha was very concentrated & authenticity prepared. Conversely, I would not recommend the chai tea. It was too sweet and simultaneously not very spiced. The other issue I had was that my almond croissant wasn't warmed up at first- so I had to go up a second time & ask for it to be heated. After it was warmed up it was good tho- I loved the aldehyde flavor notes in the filling. Overall? My visit was fine, but nothing special.

Seeing a 4.9 rating honestly made me pretty skeptical becuase usually places that hyped never live up to it. But wow... this one actually did. I'm pretty sure my 5 stars are gonna help push this place to a full 5.0 The design itself is cute but not exactly perfection, and the checkout line process could definetly be smoother during busy times. BUT the food... thats where this place absolutley shines. The Arepas Special with the corn pancakes filled with eggs, avocado and tomatoes was an absolute BEAST. Fresh, flavorful and super satisfying. Then the Avocado Toast with the sweet pumkin pieces just blew the rest of our taste buds out the window. Such a weird combo on paper but somehow worked sooo good. And finishing it all with a Cafe con Leche and a blueberry scone just put the final dot on this breakfast experiance. There was a customer with a dog, which someone came over and pet. They stopped petting it and it barked LOUDLY, scaring me. I hurriedly finished my food (which I had found a hair in the potatoes as I was finishing up) because at this point it's obviously not a service dog and was still allowed in a restaurant. As I was leaving it barked again, very loudly. This coupled with some of the conversations I heard while eating has sealed the decision to not return. Still on the hunt for a peaceful place where I can enjoy a meal.
