The Kookaburra coffee located off of State Road 207 is one of the most extraordinarily amazing coffee places in the area in my opinion. The staff is always ridiculously friendly and they are so fast with their orders that it makes it feel like even before I'm done paying my drink is already out and ready for me to take. Whenever I come here there is always a handful of people waiting for their drinks or food or coming in after me to place their orders. They have many different options but one of the main ones that I always get is the Aussie coffee. It is coffee that comes with heavy cream and vanilla. I always get it iced and the flavor is wonderful, the vanilla has a nice sweetness to it and the cream rounds out the flavoring. The coffee itself is not acidic whatsoever and has the perfect amount of strength to it. They also offer breakfast pies or lunch pies depending on when you get here and while I have never had them I always smell them every time I come in and they always smell heavenly! The place is very nicely spread out and you never feel like you are on top of anyone. I love that there is a huge amount of area to stand and wait so I can just grab my drink and head out of the door as soon as I get it. The prices are very reasonable and they have many different Keys you can also order. The Green Goddess tea is very refreshing and that is something my wife always gets. Very nicely lit and the fact they sell many items of their own, including their coffee which you can get it ground or in whole bean is very cool! Very minimalistic in terms of theming but it doesn't matter when you have coffee as amazing as this place!

I was told I have to visit here when in St. Augustine & I'm glad I got this recommendation. I'm a big fan of local spots that serve great coffee so I had high hopes. Although the menu is on the smaller side I was able to find something that sounded right up my alley. I went with the "diesel iced" which is their regular cold brew coffee with vanilla plus an espresso shot. It was a great choice. While I didn't taste much vanilla, the flavor of the espresso & cold brew made a great mix. It was super strong, didn't have an acidic aftertaste & it was relatively cheap in price. I also liked how it didn't taste overly sweetened like the cups of sugar you get at most big name chains. It could've used an extra splash of cream in my opinion but that's just a personal preference. There were a good bit of people inside at the tables & a couple people ahead of me in line but I got my drink very quick. The barista was also super friendly. The dining area looked really clean & so did side stations. There was a ton of merch for sale like shirts, hats, beans, cups, honey & more which surprised me. Supporting small businesses is the best choice, especially when they serve good products. I didn't try any of their pastries or Aussie pies but they sure looked good. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely have to pick up some food. I'm not even sure what big chains were around St. Augustine but you're way better off coming here for your caffeine fix, you'll most likely love it!

Like, duh...it's only the BEST coffee joint on the island!! ‍ Kookaburra Coffee is basically what happens when caffeine, happiness, and Aussie vibes have a love child. The Honey Badger? A perfect balance of espresso sass and honey sweetness; it's basically liquid sunshine. The Lavender Latte tastes like a cozy hug from a flower, and the Something Pumpkin makes both my mouth and my heart smile (seriously, it's fall in a cup without the basic vibes ). And can we talk about the breakfast pies?! They're quirky, savory little bundles of joy that make you forget boring breakfast sandwiches ever existed. Oh, and the pastries? They're like the supportive best friends that let the coffee shine but still totally steal the show. 10/10 I would caffeinate, smile, and repeat daily. #CoffeeGoals #KookaburraCrush #StAugustineEats #EspressoYourself

Great shot of espresso flavorful, perfect temp and it was fresh- a trifecta! This place was busy and the staff were completely on top of it with great attitudes. The atmosphere was welcoming and it has the feel of the other locations.

Oh my the iced lavender match was DElicous! The cafe is very cute inside and definitely added another sweet touch to my pleasant trip to the oldest city in the country. Enjoy!

We stopped in at Kookaburra in Nocatee by Baptist hospital. Lukewarm coffee but the vegan treats were delicious and service was great.

This is an Aussie-American Espresso bar and Pie shop. They also serve Non-coffee drinks: Green tea, Chai, Hot Chocolate, etc. Whether you're cursing by or you're a coffee lover, this place is great. Not only is there plenty of parking but there are several tables inside to sit and enjoy your treats! They offer both a variety of expresso drinks and sweet treats, puff pastry pies and baked goods. I got: *Cappuccino, (10oz $3.75) it was frothy and tasty! *Apple fritter (sweet bread), which was so moist that it fell apart, and full of delicious flavor! *"Corker" Brekkie Pie ($5.75) which came with sausage, egg, cheddar and pepper jack cheese. Not my favorite as there was just too much crust and not enough filling, I would probably try the crustless next time. Although the crust was flaky on top, the bottom crust was a little harder and since 85% of the pie was crust, I couldn't taste the filling but if you're a bread eater you might enjoy. The feeling at the table was mutual... Overall great place, it was clean, and everyone was friendly. The ordering process is simple, you order at counter, and they bring your coffee to your table, if seated. So if you're in the area and need a pick me up or something sweet, be sure to try them out!

Kookabura is a favorite of mine to visit when coming to St. Augustine! I have made 2-3 visits here on the last couple trips! Their lattes and iced coffees hit the spot for me. The coffee is prepared quickly and the ambiance on the inside is nice and conducive for work. Australian theme to everything, including the Aussie pies they serve for some of the food options. When you come to St. Augustine, do yourself a favor and stop at Kookabura!

On my way out of town on this rainy day, I needed some coffee and breakfast. I'd read about Kookaburra on here, and I decided to give it a try! I think my friends and I ordered EVERYTHING! The mocha nut coffee was delicious! The Aussie pie was so good, and definitely big enough to share! The scones were fresh, and the banana bread was amazing. The baristas were so kind and friendly. If we could have dined in we would have because it was so cozy inside... it reminded me of coffee shack in Alaska I'd been to.

Aussie meat pies and coffee? Don't mind if I do. The Kookaburra has become a local chain and the compound on 207 is my favorite location. I am a lover of the Aussie Iced with ice brew, vanilla and cream and a True Blue breakfast pie with eggs, cheddar and rosemary. Check out their selection of hot and iced coffees, dairy alternatives, and vegan and gluten free bakery options. It's a great place to chill or even work.

Fun unique coffee spot. They have some pastries and light eats but we didn't have any so I can't comment on that.

This place is so cute and unique! My family and I were visiting St. Augustine and saw a donut shop…read morewhen we were walking in the downtown area, so we had to hit it up. Thank god we walked in when there weren't any other people in the shop. We definitely took a long time trying to choose which flavors to get. Since there are literally SO many choices you can get, we decided to get the dozen of whichever donuts we could choose. The flavors I can remember exactly: Apple pie, blueberry pancake, coffee cake, Oreo cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, Elvis, peanut nutter, snick jagger, butterfinger, and others to make it up to twelve (we did get two of the same ones though). Considering they do decorate the donuts to order, they did take a little bit to come out, but they were fresh and hot when they did arrive! We immediately grabbed a table and dug in, since we didn't want to carry any around with us for the rest of the day. My favorites were any of the ones with peanut butter or candy bars. The rest were good, but I feel like most of them I was done with after a bite or two. They were sweet and rich, but I love sweet and rich, but some of the flavors just weren't hitting like the peanut nutter or butterfinger one lol. They certainly weren't cheap either. They are pretty small; we were trying to take small bites so that all five of us could get a little of each donut (so you can guess how well that went over lol). Anyway, it was fun and funky in there and the staff was really helpful!
