My friend ordered an iced latte and was equally happy with her pick. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Stacey, who was warm, welcoming, and full of fun energy. She shared some interesting building trivia (it used to be a brothel!) and encouraged us to check out the bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub filled with colorful balls. Did not need anything extra added. It does make for a pricey cup of coffee but worth it for specialty drinks like this. There are health benefits to the black sesame too. Very cool, relaxing vibe here that is not pretentious. There are other Japanese coffee items on the menu which I can't wait to come back to try. The barista was super friendly and knows his stuff when asked about items on the menu. I should've asked if the haku-san cold brew was ice brewed (Kyoto style). Will have to ask next time.
