What an awesome Quincy restaurant, maybe be a bit hard to find, but very well worth it. Loved our lunch here, I had a Deli sandwich with ham and Swiss on a Dutch Crunch roll, Hubby had a hot Pastrami with Marbled Rye Bread. Great lean Pastrami. Both came with a nice bag of Chips. We loved them both. The restaurant is very clean and well laid out, with menus on all tables. When we got there, we were greeted with friendly staff and got a table. The staff was very kind and helpful with ordering. Can hardly wait to return and order another great Lunch. Well return soon!!

Overall it was a good experience and we will return when in the area!

Disappointing they can't keep their inventory of Dutch crunch bread and avocado high enough to meet demand. You're supposed to order more of your high demand ingredients.. How have they not figured this out yet? The multigrain bread is also so, so dry.. it's crumbly and not good at all. The rest of the sandwiches are okay. But what drove me to finally leave a review is my sandwich that got "cut in half". I get they're busy but jeez, that's not down the middle, not even close. That's a third, and this isn't the first time. It takes 2 seconds to make sure the knife is centered? Pretty ridiculous.

The minute you walk through the door, you smell how great the food will be... SO FRESH. The Rueben on rye was delicious!

OMG! The food is absolutely amazing! I ordered the pastrami sandwich and it was phenomenal. The service is outstanding, I've never felt so welcome at a restaurant. The restaurant is super clean and has lots cool paintings and pictures to check out or even purchase. I'll definitely be back I guarantee it. 10 stars out of 5. read more

We were passing through Quincy and needed lunch. We both had hot pastrami sandwiches. Sandwiches were excellent, rye bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, and well proportioned with meat. Staff was very nice and professional. Big thumbs up. read more

Are you driving through Quincy, CA? Even if you aren't hungry, stop and grab a sandwich!! Their sandwiches are not one-handed sandwiches! You need both to maneuver its awesomeness! When we stopped in, the soup of the day was Lemon Chicken and Rice. Oh so good! Fast, courteous, friendly crew! It's a deli, which is clean and a good sized for the size of Quincy. Enjoy!! read more

Busy, ignored, and hot. No idea if place being packed is normal, but the dude that took our order forgot our drinks, didn't acknowledge my request to turn in fan....and seemed completely out of sorts. They are obviously understaffed and overworked. 3 people running the entire operation. Should also mention limited menu options and rushed to order when not ready. Will not come back. read more

Service was good, split pea soup was good - small cup. The cheesesteak was basically inedible, mushy consistency and overly strong seasoning flavor. We were in a hurry, ate about 1/3 and left the rest. Let server know with no result or concern. Bill was over $30 for 1 sandwich, 2 small cups soup and one soda, overpriced esp. for quality. read more

A solid sandwich place in Quincy and definitely a hidden surprise in the Courtyard Suites area...The service was good and my only small gripe is the lesser quality fixins which drops them slightly....the two sandwiches I got, turkey and salami were both made very quickly and tasted fabulous! Well we went in at 2pm on a Monday and it looked great. Unfortunately they ran out of bread and offered us a wrap or a sandwich on Naan. So I can't comment on quality of sandwiches but disappointed that we couldn't get one. So make sure you get there earlier than 2 in order to get bread! read more

I can't say enough of this place. Located in one of the cutest spots in Quincy just off of Grover Alley in the historic Clinch building. Krissy the owner has to be one of the nicest most caring person I've met. Her sandwiches are just killer and now she does breakfasts that start my day right! This is a nice little sandwich shop providing simple basic fare. We found the food to be fresh and tasty, and the included Andes Mint was just enough to finish off the sandwich and bag of chips nicely. The special soup of the day was Chicken Noodle, which my hubby really enjoyed. The service was fast and friendly, which made me happy since I was there doing some recon for a trip with friends the following week. There is indoor seating, thankfully, because today has been particularly hot. It is a small indoor seating area, but they have some outdoor seating, and offer take out. There are many lovely places around town to picnic if you want, so take out could be a nice option. I am looking forward to my next visit. read more

This place is perfect! The food, the service, the setting. It is aptly named because it is tucked just beside a wine bar and behind an art gallery, and below a series of hotel suites that overlook historic buildings in Quincy. When the weather allows, the outdoor seating is reminiscent of a New Orleans courtyard. The food is simple and outstanding! The sandwiches stuffed full of whatever your heart desires and often delicious homemade soups that are the best I have ever had. Tips: Don't call till you want your food made. They are fast at preparing it. Call for hours as the posted hours have not been accurate due to the Coronavirus. read more

The Knook makes some killer sandwiches. And if you are doing Keto, they can omit the bread and serve it in a bowl, but they also have great salads. They will serve your food to you if you are enjoying a glass of wine at The Drunk Brush (another fabulous place!), which is located in the same courtyard. The knook is the place to go for live bands and music everything about this place is awesome they serve decent meals and cold brews i love the open welcomes to all individuals and on top of that they're very polite. Now that there's pandemic things of course changed as all businesses do, but I do recommend this place for drinks and hangout joint. Love coming here. read more

The Knook is the perfect spot for lunch or dinner. The sandwiches are huge and delicious. I love the roast beef on dutch crunch roll. The specials are always a treat. Yummy soups hit the spot in fall and winter. I look forward to prime rib nights and meatloaf with sweet potato mash. The Drunk Brush, which shares the courtyard, has great entertainment on Friday night's. The Knook staff is happy to bring your food over. Check it out! read more

We left satisfied and happy to plan a return visit very soon. The food we had, crab cakes, clam chowder, chicken marsala, beef stroganoff and berry cobbler were all absolutely delicious! The espresso martini I had was unmatched. The staff, servers, chefs & owners were all friendly and welcoming. We look forward to returning often to one of our new favorite restaurants. Both meals were cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce that should accompany each dish . 10/10 for me on both dishes, it would be hard to pick a favorite but I'd have to order the stroganoff again on my next visit ..... too good!! Both meals came with a delicious side salad - blue cheese dressing was house made and yummy! Fresh bread, two different kinds , both were spot on . Iron Door hit a home run with every single portion of our meal and the rustic country charm of this hidden gem was the icing on the cake!!! I almost don't want to share my secret........ but if you are visiting Graeagle, pass on all the dining options in Blairsden and Graeagle and head up the mountain to little ol Johnsville for a meal that is sure to satisfy! I had the salmon - one of my "go to" dishes - and it was good as well. Yes... we had dessert! There were several good options, but we decided to share the cookie "mess". Good balance with all ingredients... and for something described as a "mess," it was plated quite well! Definitely high on my list of possibilities when I'm in the area!
