My hubby and I were in town for work and were starving. I searched Yelp and found Quintopia. Let's just say we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing FRESH selections on the menu. We started with pickled fries. Amazing crunch! Hubby had a NA beer. Yet another great surprise. We each had the Banh Mi chicken sandwich. Soooo good! Yummy flavored. Hubby loved his fries too. Restaurant was super clean and service was exceptional. We loved seeing the brewery set-up too. We will be back when there is no snow on the ground to see the outside atmosphere. I've been to Quint Topia brewing Company, a couple of times in the last month. I have to say this is a nice spot if you're in the Quincy area up around feather River they have great selection of beers as well as Burgers salads and sandwiches. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating as well as to go and the atmosphere was really nice as you know it's a small town so you'll see a lot of familiar faces if you spend any time there. Whether you're alone or with the group, I would highly recommend it if you're in the area . read more

Showed up here on a fairly busy Saturday evening and was able to order my food and beer quite quickly. I found a seat outside and was comfortable under the shade umbrellas that they had out. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and it was quite tasty and flavorful. Fries were done well and the portion was ok for the price. The wait took awhile but they were fairly busy and they did warn me it would be about 30 minutes when I ordered so I appreciated that. I tried to return with my wife on Sunday but they were closed all day. I was kinda shocked to see them closed when I thought they would be open. We are not from the Quincy area and stopped at this brew pub while traveling. Quintopia Brewing is great! I had the Kolsch. It was outstanding. They do a great job with the beer. We also had the Spicy Chicken sandwiches with fries and pretzels with cheese. The food was very tasty. The cheese for the pretzels was really, really good. Whomever does the cooking knows their business. This place is casual; find your own seat , order at the counter, and they bring your food to you. The decor is brew pub chic with two floors featuring tasteful light wood accents, a steel wire staircase, high and wooden low tables, two floors with a couch and conversation area upstairs. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I wish I lived near Quintopia Brewing because I'd go there all the time. Five stars! read more

No matter the distance you must travel this brewery is worth the trip! The taproom is a neat spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Despite unfortunate setbacks with their brewery they have a top notch supply of in-house brews that are must tries. The bartenders are all knowledgeable on the taps and friendly. Perhaps the most notable differentiating factor is the kitchen. They serve a variety of creative, delicious fries like Chicken Masala and Reuben. Not to discount the weekend burger or wraps. Die hard Quintopian here, I've visited several times over the years and I must say, they're very consistent with the quality of their food, service, and general vibe. When I lived in Chico, I would make the drive just for their soft pretzel and beer cheese (RIP) still the best pretzel I've ever had, and that's a bold statement but I stand by it! Just spent 2 nights in Quincy and both nights went to Quintopia. Place is super busy, food is great, beer is great with lots of variety. Staff is super friendly too! A place like this was badly needed in Quincy, the town is somewhat of a food desert. On Saturday night (Oct 11th) it was an hour wait for food which we were pre warned on so that's fine, happy to have a few beers while I wait. Unfortunately, the food ordering, drink ordering and tab paying all happens at one point of sale staffed by one person so if you want a second or third round you are forced to line up behind entire families ordering dinner and drinks. Want to pay your tab? Get in line. What is desperately needed is for the food ordering and the bar to be separated. The beer garden must be nice in the summer, it's not summer anymore though and if there was heating inside it wasn't turned on, the bartender was wearing his winter puffer jacket for gods sake. Outside, no patio heaters in the beer garden at all, it was cold inside and out and that's what ultimately drove us out. (My perspective is that of a Tahoe local but I don't want to eat out in the cold). Edit : Just discovered that the original brewery burned down 5 years ago so maybe the owner has an understandable aversion to open flames in the beer garden? read more

My fish and chips were too salty and they went out of their way to make me new fish and chips. And give me a free beer sample. The place is very clean, beautiful modern design reminds me of some of the places in Oakland and Berkeley they brew all their own beer, which is great. Y'all don't skip this place! The fries are definitely the star of the food! We had the Tikka Marsala fries which was amazing! Flavor was packed and enjoyable! I'd get this again! My husband got the house burger and he said it was super good! This place has a fun selection of beers, mostly IPAs. The waitress was kind and let us try some of the beers before we committed which was cool of her. The restaurant is located off the main street and I overheard that the originally location will be opening soon (closed due to a fire). Excited to go back and see it when it opens! First time here, got the masala fries and a golden state cider. The service was great, the food was as good as the rumors. I had never had masala fries but I have absolutely unlocked a new craving. I like this spot more for takeout than dine in, as there's not really "private table" options inside the restaurant (they do have a patio that will be great in nice weather), it's all family style "counter seating" downstairs and upstairs is a sweet couch area great for families but again very communal. I'm an introvert that doesn't necessarily want to talk to strangers while I eat & drink so that's the only downside. Also not a ton of room for strollers. They do have a tall high chair that is as tall as the bar seating which I appreciate. This is high quality food and is always busy so plan accordingly, it's not fast food or quick take out. My recommendation is you easily can call ahead and place an order, pickup and enjoy outdoor picnic style or at home. Or enjoy the community if you're in the mood for conversation. The beer menu was 'meh'. I understand their brewery was lost in the fire and they are sourcing from somewhere but the variety and taste are minimal. The food is also 'ok'. Chicken tenders were 80% batter and tiny amount of chicken inside. Fried pickles were too salty. The garlic fries seasoning was amazing though. Great find on the way home to the valley. We had the Asian pork taco special and the tortillas were amazing. Great flavor on the meat. We also ordered the cold noodle bowl and were not disappointed. The Pilsner & Kolsh were both light and refreshing and not too crazy to allow us to continue our drive home. Great find and fun addition to Quincy. First will say the food,brew and bar service was great. They told us the four would be about 45 minutes from order. 90 minutes later we finally got our late lunch now early dinner. The only real issue I had was it sounds like an owner came in to help catch things up but not one mention of sorry for the extra long wait. A word of acknowledgment would have gone a long way. I really want to give this place a better review because the beer was good and my hamburger would have been great if it wasn't way too rare. The thing that was terrible was the service. It took 50 minutes to get our order. No apologies, just that it takes that long because they are busy. There is no such thing as friendly customer service at this place. We saw many other people get served when we clearly got there first. When it was suggested that maybe the order was forgotten and rushed, the server's wouldn't admit that it could have happened and acted out put-off and rude. We love visiting Quincy! We have gone to Moon's a couple times and were looking forward to trying them after making a poor food choice last time but they've closed to private parties only sadly. We arrived around 5 pm on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. This place is small but open inside. There is a large community type table as well as a counter along the front windows inside along with a few two seater tables and seats at the bar. There is a patio section with live music (tonight...not sure how often they do it) but that music was so loud, we decided to sit inside. The outside music mostly drowned out the music playing inside (which was much better). I wanted to try the masala wrap but they were out of sour cream. I also heard them telling another group that arrived that they were out of two other menu items. We ordered a red ale (Randy didn't like it, said it wasn't flavorful), the chicken sandwich (he said it was good and he liked the fries that came with it) and I ordered the fish n chips which came with coleslaw (it was ok, lacking in flavor) and fries. We started with a cheese curd order so I didn't eat any fries. The curds were yummy! The portions are good sized - we each took half to go (along with all my fries). The orders are taken at the bar and the food was brought in a timely manner. The employees are nice and efficient. There's a service fee for using a card. With Moon's being closed for private parties only, we will need to try a different place next time. read more

Everyone was served promptly and with a smile. We like all the beers we tried without hops, but lived the Lone Pine Porter was our favorite. It had excellent flavor and was the perfect dark summer beer at only 4.7 ABV. with a 38 IBU. We also had a pretzel with cheese sauce. Yes, deep fried pretzel! It was excellent.
