I have been here a long time ago and they weren't that great however I have been three times recently and they knocked it out of the park each time. The first time I went, the food was literally out in five minutes after ordering it so how could fresh could that be? And it didn't taste good so it took us a while to come back. My parents requested to go so we went and haven't had nothing but great food each time. I got the chicken pad Thai, which has little tiny thin noodles in it and I love it that way and the peanut sauce isn't too sweet. My dad got seafood pot this time around and he said he would order it again. Husband got some rare meat dish salad that was very spicy which he wants. We also got the papaya salad and sticky rice, which is a really large Portion. We got it medium so everyone could eat it but normally he gets it super spicy which they accommodate. We order a drink of saki which was 6 bucks each. They wine is 6 bucks a glass like it should be! These other places charging $12-$14 a glass is ridiculous The tom kha soup is delicious and it's a good portion for 2 to split. My dad really likes the bean thread soup too. We got an order of spring rolls which also came in an order of two, which I think is lame and is five bucks. Which they gave more for less money. Decent Thai food for reasonable price. I came here Thursday for dinner and the restaurant wasn't busy. I got my tablet right away. I ordered Tom Kar soup, Panang chicken and Chicken Phat prikpao. Food came out within 10 minutes. I enjoy the food, but I hope the panang can a bit more spicy and The Tom kar soup is a bit less sweet. The rice was quite dry. Since it wasn't a big issue in terms of flavor, and the price is reasonable, I gave 4 stars (3 and a half is better suited). Staffs are friendly. The restaurant look a bit outdated. read more

Went here for dinner with 4 other people. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly waiter, nice menu. We ordered the vegetable coconut ginger soup which was delicious. One had the Thai salad was good, peanut dressing on the sweet side, vegetarian rolls lack of any basil or cilantro flavor, good with any ok sauce. The order of chicken satay ok, peanut sauce very sweet, hardly any peanut taste, chicken on the dry side. We wanted the mango dessert which they were out of. Overall, food nicely plated, hot food came out hot, prices on par. However, we had enjoyed Thai food at other Thai restaurants. After years of hearing good things about the King and I- I finally ate there today for lunch. They have the full menu available but a full page also of lunch combinations. These are an entree and a soup. For $11.99! The soup was a chicken soup- I didn't understand what the waiter said (!) but it was tasty and spicy! I can handle it but he should have cautioned us. We also each got an additional fried spring roll with shrimp which was very good. My entree was a Sesame Tofu dish. They fry the tofu so they are crispy, and it comes with veggies and a nice coconut milk sauce, with rice. Overall a nice pleasant lunch. The restaurant is pretty typical Asian- nothing fancy but adorned with Asian / Thai accoutrements. I will come back to try the Thai dinners next time. read more

Love one particular dish at this restaurant, however I will never set foot in there again. Went to pick up some take out as I was going in there was a man going in too. He held the door for me. I was a little early so stood around waiting as there wasn't anyone at the counter. Lady came out starting doing what looked like busy work around the counter. Eventually she asked the man if he wanted a table. He replied yes, she walked right past me and took him to a table. Never said anything to me completely ignored me. Eventually someone came out with my order. If this is the way you treat customers I can certainly find other places that acknowledge a customer. BTW I am black the man was Asian. Any time I am in the Henrietta area I will stop and get a mixed Satay and a (Som Tom) green papaya salad! When you do the pickup order you are always greeted at the door with smiles on their faces. My dad and I went here the other night. The service was excellent! The food was very good. He'd never had chicken satay or fresh shrimp rolls so we started with those. I think he likes the chicken satay better than the fresh rolls LOL. He ordered the shrimp and broccoli. I had the kang kheeo wan (green curry with chicken). It was delicious! This place is gorgeous inside. I lived in Thailand for a while and I can tell you, the food here is legit! It was not Americanized from what we ordered. I ordered papaya salad, known as Som Tom in Thailand. It was HEAVENLY and so refreshing! Most Thai places make it cheaper by putting a lot of other veg in the salad other than papaya but not this one! It was perfection! I had ordered take out and was immediately helped by a very kind older Thai gentleman. I will definitely be going back to eat in house next time. read more

Walked in on a Tuesday night and the place was pretty busy which was a good sign. Our apps came out fast and the entree was out shortly after. We started off with chicken satay and fried shrimp rolls. The chicken satay was SO good, perfectly cooked, juicy chicken bites on a stick with peanut sauce. I could have eaten just that as an entree it was so good. The rolls were decent and comparable to anywhere else you would go to get a spring roll. For our entree (which is probably enough food for 3 people) we got the shrimp phat see eeu. Ummmm YUM. This was delicious, loaded with shrimp and had all the perfect garlicky Thai flavors. My one year old even ate the leftovers it was so good. All this food for $30 and speedy, friendly service. I will 10000% come back and this will definitely be a new go to. I went to the King and I on a cold Friday night for a dinner date with my mom. One of the great things about Thai food in general is that it's almost entirely gluten free (rice noodles as opposed to wheat noodles) and I've never met a shrimp pad thai that I didn't like. The scent of all the yummy food hit me as soon as we walked into the restaurant. We were seated quickly and the waitress came to ask what we wanted to drink. Mom and I split a pot of hot tea to warm our frozen bones. We also split the sample satay (skewers) as an appetizer, which came with 2 skewers of chicken, beef, and pork and allowed mommy and me to have one of each. The chicken was wonderfully seasoned and tender but the beef was a magical experience. The pork tasted weird to me so neither of us finished our pork satay. When the waitress came by to take our entrée orders, she asked why we didn't eat the pork. I told her it tasted off so she said she could take it back and swap it out for one we enjoyed. More beef please! For our entrees, I got the shrimp pad thai (of course) and mom got beef pad thai. Normally shrimp pad thai comes with noodles and peanut sauce and 3 or 4 jumbo shrimp on top, so I was overjoyed to find multiple smaller shrimp mixed into my rice noodles. Mom enjoyed her beef pad thai and asked for extra peanut sauce. Our noodles also came with rice, which I had never had happen before. The serving sizes were massive and we definitely had left overs. I've been coming here regularly for four or five years. The service is professional and, yes, classy. What I really like is that they have lunch specials even on weekends, with a large smattering of options guaranteed to please every pallet and every dietary requirement. There's also a handy glossary of Thai menu terminology, which is fun, informative and interesting. It's a big dining room and quiet, so that you can have conversations and just enjoy your food and your companions. As a vegetarian, there are many options, full of flavor and generous portions. I think the food here tastes pretty darn good. Maybe not the best I've had, but quite good. I have probably eaten food from at least 75 different Thai restaurants around America. Unfortunately, I need to give it 4/5 stars because they left the tails on the shrimp. I ordered a shrimp basil stir-fry, and a shrimp red curry dish. Both of them had the tails still on the shrimp, so I had to fish through each of them with my hands to manually remove the tails (that obviously should've been removed in the kitchen). When I got to our chicken fried rice, I was relieved that the chicken did not have feathers on it. Based on other reviews here on yelp, I can see that they typically remove the fur from beef as well. I can't imagine why anybody would ever serve foods like a stirfry or a curry, and leave the tails on the shrimp so that the customer needs to fish through with their hands and manually remove all of the tails. This is a gross, disgusting, unnecessary thing for a customer to do. It's actually pretty hard to clean a shrimp and leave the tail on. They do it for things like shrimp cocktail where it makes sense. But the tail should definitely be removed in the kitchen, in the same way they removed the feathers from the chicken and the fur from the beef prior to serving it. I sincerely hope that the owners and managers of this restaurant will take my feedback to heart. Trust me, there's not a single customer on the face of the Earth who wants to fish through stir-fries, curries, or other dishes and try to remove all the tails from the shrimp. read more

From the beginning, until about 10 years ago, I was a regular. It was good from the beginning, and from my point it always continued in a positive way. Last night I was there for the first time in possibly seven years. It was a Saturday night, a lot of people close to senior citizens were there, but it was filled. Nonetheless, it didn't take more than a couple of minutes to find a table. Before I came yesterday, I looked at the recent reviews from yelp. I noticed there were several negative complaints about the restaurant. I held onto those thoughts. It was a flag, but I was meeting another couple, and I had also seen some positive reviews recently too What I noticed how what I see there I see in many restaurants today. Unfortunately after Covid, it's very difficult to find service. It's difficult to find people to work. I believe I only saw two waiters last night for the entire restaurant, which is not anything small. But most important of all the food was every bit as good as ever. Generous amounts, and it was hot as you would want it. I also noticed in a recent review that they felt it was now over priced. I hate being the one to point it out, but all prices are over priced now. I don't want to scare the reviewer, but people believe we are in the world of inflation. I have nothing bad to say about the restaurant, and if you liked it, then you should like it now. One small point, I ordered soup before my entrée, it was not very hot. One of my favorite attending docs (who also has excellent taste) brought his leftover sesame tofu for lunch -- it was clear from the enjoyment on his face that I should visit this establishment pronto. Placing the takeout order over the phone was super efficient. The staff respect your time and are accommodating. So far, I have tried the Pad Thai, Phat Kee Moun, and sesame tofu. The noodle dishes were made vegetarian per request (ample veggies/tofu) . I usually order the same noodles at every Thai restaurant I've been to -- these were some of the best. Just perfectly spiced and flavorful. They don't skimp. And the sesame tofu? WORTH IT! The texture of the tofu was perfect and in ample supply, and the sauce was savory and delicious. Had ample leftovers so it was the gift that kept on giving. Aw man, now I'm hungry. Will probably hit them up tomorrow and give their eggplant entree a try. Maybe I'll see you there! This place needs so much more. First of all, the place really needs an upgrade. It needs to convey an atmosphere of cleanliness primarily. The carpets were filthy. I went to the bathroom and there was an exit door with brick steps and there were dirty rags laying on the floor. I hate to see what the kitchen's like when the part that you can see of the place is filthy. The bathroom had cleaning supplies all over the place. It was gross.. We ordered fresh spring rolls. I have had them hundreds of times and they were disgusting. The rice paper was way too thick and it only contained lettuce and carrots as if it was an egg roll. I ordered panang curry which was okay. My husband liked whatever he ordered. My daughter ordered massam Curry and the potatoes were huge and overcooked. Her food was okay. The menus were dirty as well. The worst part is I do not believe they are using jasmine rice. I think they're using white rice and it was pretty stale and dry. Use some Jasmine rice, learn how to make spring rolls and clean the place up. It was also very dreary. The service was okay. A few times. They put the food in front of us and just walked away. The food is so full of flavor, and so good! The atmosphere was pretty quiet, and the floor plan is very wide open and spread apart. The service was extremely fast, and mostly friendly. Take out review only. 3.5 stars. Ordered a shrimp egg rolls, seafood lar nar and a Thai iced tea. The Thai iced tea was a smaller cup than I expected in styrofoam and it ended up being very very sweet. Shrimp eggrolls were tasty and greasy which hit the spot. The seafood lar nar portion was HUGE and great bang for your buck. Unfortunately, they ran out of wide rice noodles and substituted with thin rice noodles. Those rice noodles were quite crumbly and just very soggy so the overall dish itself was just OK. Portions were huge though so great value.
