I'm not a vegetarian / vegan, but I loved their We Don't Talk about Pesto hot sandwich! I got it delivered and it was still toasty and perfect when it arrived. It arrived promptly, and it was neatly and carefully packaged. The pesto sandwich felt like cozy comfort food. It reminded me of my mom's homemade pesto she would make from basil grown in the garden. It reminded me of a delicious pasta dish I had some time ago at an Italian restaurant, but in sandwich form. Each element: toasty bread, flavorful pesto, tender greens, bright, sweet red peppers, and savory "turkey" was perfect. I am still thinking about the sandwich! There is an excellent chance I'll order it again soon! I also tried the BLTNT, which I would also order again. I liked the pesto sandwich better, but I thought the spicy mayo was addictive, the lettuce was fresh, the bread was light and crusty, and the vegan bacon was solid. I liked that the bacon strips were substantial, unlike a frozen popular brand of veggie bacon I tried once and was a bit disappointed in. You definitely know that it isn't pork bacon, but the flavors still go all together very well. The cucumber salad was also light and crisp and not overly flavored with harsh onion, salt, or vinegar.

Amazing vegan butcher in the upper Monroe neighborhood A welcoming environment for all - Regardless of whether you are vegan or just choosing to eat more plant forward I found the stamp to be super knowledgeable, friendly. They have gluten-free offerings as well you can get a great combo meal for $14 including tax! I sampled their Ruben... I'd love to see a little more sauerkraut a little bit less cheese. Amazing how cheesy the l vegan cheese was! A little would go along way. Looking forward to trying more

Not one of the best VEGAN sandwiches I've ever had - one of the best sandwiches I've had *period!* I've been thinking about my chicken bacon ranch since I ate it almost two weeks ago. I used to participate in something I called Vegan Meegan March where, for three years in a row, I simply "went vegan" for the month of March. I no longer do that, since as a result I make 50% of my days meatless year-round and the net positivity of being more mindful year round felt better... but I almost WISH I continued the tradition so that I would have an excuse to come to Grass Fed every day they are open. If you are someone who is thinking "I want to do better about my meat consumption and footprint but don't know where to start" - start here. The team here was so amazing in walking me through the process and offering up what goes into each faux meat product. I am especially in love with the taco dog and can't wait to incorporate that product into my taco Tuesdays more frequently. Kosher kitchen, very allergy and sensitivity friendly as well, and no deliciousness lost in the process. Grab a sandwich (they have a combo option that I recommend) and please do NOT skip the cookie! This cookie was fluffy and epic. We are beyond lucky to have this community gem here in Rochester. The space is large, bright, and welcoming. Ye skeptics, get there for lunch ASAP and ENJOY!

I finally made it into Grass Fed's brick and mortar store after salivating over their vegan meats for months on Instagram. My husband tried one of their sandwiches last week, and I knew I had to get there myself. It's a cheery, open place with the familiar pain in the butt Monroe Ave parking situation. The employees were very friendly and happy to answer questions about their offerings. From what I understand, sandwiches are not available every day, so keep an eye on their socials. I got the "All Banh Mi Self", a delicious tofu, carrot, scallion, jalapeño, cilantro DELIGHT of a sandwich, as well as a half pound of "bacon". Their other sandwich was called "Cheesy Like Sunday Morning", so I'm getting a real Bob's Burgers vibe. I am hoping to try more "meats" and sandwiches as my schedule and wallet allow. As another reviewer pointed out, their deli items aren't cheap but I really enjoyed the bacon. I've had numerous fake bacon varieties over the years and Grass Fed's has that crispy aspect that so many don't provide. Hopefully this remains sustainable as another vegan option in Rochester.

Found this place sort of by accident while traveling and could not be happier!!! Will hopefully get to return and try more. We tried two sandwiches- the Turkey club and monte cristo. The club was by far our stand out favorite. The veggies were crisp, the lunch "meat" was superb, all around amazing sandwich. The monte cristo was good but I think because the French toast is soft and the ham is soft, it's lacking a bit of dimension. It's definitely unique and we enjoyed it but would try something else next time. Chocolate chip cookie was great too!!

An Absolute MUST Visit! This place is one of the best sandwich shops in Rochester, regardless of if you're plant based or not. I love that I can order a sandwich, and also purchase plant based (vegan) meat to make more delicious sandwiches later on in the week. The BLT-N-T is my favorite! Also, don't forget to grab a cookie because they truly are the best treats on earth! A perfect mix of sweet and salty!!

We Don't Talk About Pesto in the front and Pastrami, Myself, and I in the back.

I was so excited to finally visit Grass Fed! Stopped in for lunch today, and I wasn't disappointed! I enjoyed the We Don't Talk About Pesto sandwich combo meal. Everything was fresh and delicious. A combo came with a sandwich, chocolate chip cookie, chips, and a beverage. An excellent value for an excellent meal. My lunch date had the Pastrami, Myself, and I sandwich and enjoyed it very much. They stated it was better than meat Pastrami sandwiches they've had in the past. The customer service was friendly and prompt. Whether you're a vegan or just enjoy a delicious sandwich, Grass Fed won't disappoint!

Ventured over to this spot upon the suggestion of a friend. I'm glad I took their suggestion. I didn't notice the Bobs Burgers style names for the sandwiches at first. I did chuckle at my lack of awareness later. I rolled with the B-L-T-N-T. It was dynamite. I was surprised at how similar the vegan bacon was in taste and texture to regular bacon. I've tried other vegan bacon in the past, and it was terrible. The lettuce, tomato, cheese, and spicy Mayo came together with the bacon in a delightful ballad of flavors in between the ciabatta bun. I'll definitely be back for this sandwich again, and I'm interested in trying others. My only criticism with my experience, was that the sandwich was advertised as $9.99, but it appeared that I was actually charged $11.99 before tax, for some reason.

Uh this place is absolutely amazing! First off, love the decor- very hip! The owner is SUPER NICE and walks you through the menu- you can tell how proud they are with their restaurant and the product they put out! I got to sample all of the "meats" and settled on the Reuben sandwich. I don't think I've had a better tasting Reuben in my life... way better than actual meat. The sandwich was HUGE and packed. I barely finished it! Highly recommend! PS- get a combo... three extra bucks and you get chips, a drink, and a cookie!!

It's been about a month now that I've been ordering a la carte meals from Sweet Pea. I had been…read moregetting emails for a while, and I finally decided to try them out to help support my intermittent fasting regime. I was looking for more plant-based proteins and foods that would fill me up so I'm not quite as hungry when fasting. I really do enjoy this service. The quality of the food is very good. I love that there is a variety of meal options, and these are rotated in and out at a good rate. I think I've only had one or two repeat meals in the month I've been purchasing. I am not a vegan, but I do like to eat primarily plant-based and the recipes the chef comes up with are quite ingenious. They sound very interesting and have a lot of cultural influences. I particularly like the asian inspired meals, noodle bowls, Indian... last week there was a Moroccan Bean stew, and it looked so good, I let my dad have it because he wanted to try out a meal. I prefer to pick up my order each week. They have a nice curbside pickup system working right now. You can get food delivered for a fee to the Rochester and Buffalo areas. I prefer to save a few dollars and I have made it a part of my Sunday routine that's focused on me. There is only one drawback. Meals come to you in plastic take out containers. They are very durable and great for taking to work. But I wish these could somehow be more environmentally friendly. I do recycle, but I worry it's not enough. If you feel pressed for time in your week and would like to have really tasty, healthy, flavorful meals this is a great option. At $12.00 per meal, it is somewhat expensive, but at the same time maybe it's not given that food prices at grocery stores have gone up. It isn't a frozen Healthy Choice bowl, and you are getting your money's worth in terms of portion size, food quality and nutritional value.

What a gem. I am not a delivery service connoisseur by any means. But when they offered lasagna…read more(plant based) this week, I could not resist. I am an infantile vegan (only 5 months) and lasagna was a meal I was going to miss. Also I have found myself eating a lot of processed vegan foods due to convenience and sweet pea offered a solution to my *problems*. I ordered lasagna, butternut squash soup, muffins, and tikka masala. The muffins were amazing and moist and not chewy like a lot of vegan baked goods. The cauliflower bechamel in the lasagna was also noteworthy. But fast forward to the tikka masala- Wow! The price was right as the portions lasted me all week and saved me so much time. Also the nutrition information is provided and you can pronounce all the ingredients and the calories are reasonable. Also happy with the protein content of all these items! One recommendation would be- I personally added salt to the dishes. I find this common with vegan food though and appreciate that people can salt to taste. All of this, and the meals were dropped off at my door ready to be microwaved. I highly recommend even if not a vegan just a healthy option for those nights you can't or don't want to cook. Also to the other review that this place was pricey and packaging was not eco friendly- do you know that offering eco friendly packaging would subsequently increase costs even more? Unfortunately you can't have it all, at least without paying for it.

Recently having gone back to a Plant-Based lifestyle, I was craving a good pizza yesterday. I placed my order online for future pickup, then arrived a few minutes early to pick it up. My order was ready at a reasonable time, but the only slightly bothersome part of the (very short) wait was the fact that they were playing death metal in the background...not my cup of tea, but each to their own. I received my order, which was still piping hot when I arrived home. The Snapcase Pizza was great, a sauce base of Buffalo and Boss sauce mixed, topped with Chick'n and Vegan Cheese. Perfectly cooked crust, and just the right amount of topping. The House-Made Vegan Mozzarella Stix were surprisingly good! Cheezy with a stretch, and a nice crispy breading. The May-Wah wings I ordered with the same sauce blend as the pizza, Buffalo and Boss sauce mixed. They were good, but slightly mushy. I also wish they came with more than two celery sticks! The dipping sauce was really good too! Next time I think I'll try the Jackfruit wings. Anyway, I had a great dinner thanks to New Ethic, and will definitely be returning soon! Highly recommended!

The dipping sauce was quite spicy, and even with that they tasted pretty bland. No discernible herbs in the rolls at all, just some tofu, carrot, & lettuce. For my entree I got a vegan banh mi. It came out warm and the baguette was crunchy, if a bit dense. Again, very little fresh veg on it which is usually the highlight of a banh mi. There was a few pieces of iceburg lettuce (unheard of on a banh mi!) and one or two sprigs of cilantro, along with the same sauce from the fresh spring rolls. It was a bit disappointing but at least it filled my belly. Couldn't find the waitress to ask for more water or napkins, so I made do with what I had.
