Quick, pleasant and affordable service. I had 6 key copies made in under 2 minutes and they had all the accessories I needed too. Staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. This locksmith is a real asset to the community, one that you never appreciate until you need keys really fast. Id rather deal with them all day long than with the clowns at Home Depot. read more

The Keymasters - Store front - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - White Plains, New York

This shop renewed my faith in humanity! My car key broke in the ignition in a parking lot in White Plains. The Locksmith (sadly I didn't get his name) let me borrow a pair of pliers. He didn't ask for anything (no driver's license, money, nothing! The pliers did the trick! When I returned them, I tried to give him a tip which he flatly (put politely) refused. A true gentleman! Thank you very much Key Masters Locksmith and Doors!!! read more

All my keys has been taken care of by Key Masters, and I have always been pleased with the service. Recently, had my key fob battery replacement done by Napa who screwed up putting it back together. Took the key fob to Eli at Key Masters, and he put it back together as a courtesy. You cannot find this kind of personal service anywhere these days. read more

Worst person to do business with. Undependable . Non responsive and never keeps appointments or his word. He was hired to replace locks in a multi condo building. Would just show up without appointments or made appointments and not show up. Locks were installed inferior and promised to make good ....never seen or heard from him again. The good reviews were for the old owners . Business was sold to Eli he is not a man of his word. Stay away from Keymasters and Eli nothing but aggravating . read more

I called keymasters locksmith a week ago due to not hearing from my tenant for a few months and now I know why , she skipped town and nystate law protecting tenants means I can say goodbye to April, may, June , July , August rent . It's ok but I must have the door locks changed and Keymasters locksmith are nearby and reliable and rates are reasonable . In less then an hour the locksmith changed both locks and I don't have to worry about my former deadbeat tenant trying to come back inside unless she wants to slip the back rent under the door which is not going to happen ever. Satisfied with Keymasters and will use them again when needed but hopefully for different reason. read more

Great service - they're super friendly and super fast. They're in an easy to get to location as well. I would definitely come back!

I was quoted $75 service call for the job. My Emtek lock was not opening. I emailed photos of the lock and did to know if they had one. Serviceman arrived on time this morning and opened the door and said I needed to replace the lock. (at the end of the job he said he did not know if the lock was broken but he did not want to try to put it back together). I made a mistake not asking about the charges in advance but my experience has been that locksmiths charge by the time it takes. He was at my house for one hour. When I got the bill I was charged $495 for the lock which included a service charge for installing it, plus $75 service charge, $90 deadbolt rekey charge, plus he tried to charge a door open charge but removed it when I protested. Total $718.59. This lock has a warrantee but he said they will only cover one year and will not accept the manufacturers warrantee. He also said they do not care what other locksmith's charge. And I had to remind him three times to wear a mask. He arrived without one. Do not use this Locksmith. read more

If a person is providing a service you should not have to chase after them to get them to do a job for you. I went back and forth for over a week over trying to arrange a day for them to do work for me. Multiple times they tell me they would contact me back with availability then never doing so. I had to send follow up texts several times asking for availability and never getting a straight answer. It was like pulling teeth! Why am I twisting your arm to give you my money? Awful customer service. I went with another area locksmith and got better service and an appointment within 24 hrs. This experience was frustrating enough to have me write only my second ever review on here after several years. read more

Got locked out. Poop. My local locksmith didn't have availability, but Keymasters was able to dispatch someone fairly quickly which was appreciated. He opened my lock in less than a minute. Great (I think?) My issue is with the pricing. I was quoted $85 over the phone--not cheap, but this is my own fault and I agreed to it. However when it came time to pay a $20 surcharge was added. When I asked what it was for I was told that the $85 is just to open the lock and the surcharge is for gas, etc. Sooo, you never factored in gas and such into your original quote because somehow you thought I'd bring my locked door to you? Sorry but I can't deal with businesses who have shady pricing and hidden fees that only come up once the job has been done and the customer has no choice but to pay. That's crooked in my book. **Update** The owner called me and rectified the issue with the $20 surcharge. I'm glad we were able to resolve this. read more

Eli showed up on time and opened my locked bathroom door right away. I will use him again.

Came in today to make a copy of my apartment keys I must say my fellow yelpers didn't let me down. This is the fastest service I ever had. The gentleman and I believe is his wife and another employee here and truly amazing. They are friendly and welcoming, the older gentleman finished my keys in 5 minutes. If I ever need to make a set of keys I will come back here again, thanks so much. 10 stars across the board. read more

I called back and the lady who picks up the phone was VERY nasty. Eli, who stated he is the new owner of the business, did offer to come back and fix the issue after he saw my Yelp review but the damage is already done. I found a new locksmith to handle the situation. They told me that the prior locksmiths, who were to only change the cylinders, actually shaved down the metal plate hence why my door now has play. My door is now forever damaged. I will gladly point out that Eli was NOT the one to do the original work on April 22nd. I don't know the names of the 2 individuals that showed up but I dealt with Key Masters on April 22nd so whoever they sent did a shoddy job. read more

Called Keymasters to inquire about a keyless deadbolt lock. Eli came over to give an estimate and installed the lock at 5pm the next day. Price was good, looks great and service excellent. I highly recommend them read more

Not open on time, lots of excuse, none were helpful... went elsewhere, was helped immediately with a smile

Guy unlocked my door but was an a**hole from the moment he got here. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. There's other spots in town. Also was told 35 over the phone but charged 165. Pathetic business practices. read more

I requested a quote for a simple job but instead of changing me for the visit and the repair, he replied to my concern with a suggestion that could fix the issue and it did. Good to know there are honest people out there. Thanks read more

In and out in under 5 minutes. I lost my spare set of house keys (I know, ironic) and needed a copy made. I got 2 new ones for $4 in literally 3 minutes. I'd put 15 minutes on the parking meter and it had 12 left when I returned. Wow. Granted, I haven't had a chance to try my keys at home yet because I'm on a business trip, but I will leave an update after I do. Keep in mind that the price I got may not be the one you get. Depending on the difficulty of replicating the key and the materials required, the price ranges from $1 to $50. read more

Ask for Eli. Job well done. Trustworthy and professional. #ShopLocal #WhitePlains He came in the evening to fix our lock; needed to 'make it fit' - now looks like the lock was always a part of the door. Great skill with a hammer and chisel. Eli even let my 5yr old son help with one of the screws. Total positive experience. High quality job. read more

As an owner of four properties, Keymasters has provided fast, reliable and generous service for me and my not for profit for more than a decade. They are old school in their commitment to quality; they are firstly customer centered. But in an industry that is often noted by shysters and malcontents, these locksmiths are honest. They do the work at reasonable prices. They have to make a living, but you never feel screwed. They work hard to get the job done. They have been around for decades and apprenticed many of the other locksmiths in the area. read more

After 4 attempts to duplicate a key and numerous excuses and reasons including blaming bad tumblers which as of this review were less than a week old, trying to get a refund was an ordeal bordering on epic. The owner had excuses at the ready. BTW I am homebound and the wonderful super of my LARGE condo bldg. Was helping me. Buyer beware! read more

I locked myself out of my home protected by an eleven hundred dollar Baldwin lock.I had no cell phone with me. After my neighbor called the high rated Ad that appeared at the top of the Google search they came quickly and proceeded to completely destroy my lock. I then realized the guy was not from Keymasters in White Plains. I quickly called Ivan, the owner of Keymasters and he came himself right away and repaired the lock. Also, at a fraction of the cost of the other fly by night company. Eli is a true professional and can be trusted to do the right thing in every circumstance. 6 star rating! read more

I've used Keymasters before with success. But yesterday, I became locked out of my house. Now, I fully understand and I expected to not be able to get away on the cheap. And they dispatched a technician quite quickly who was very nice and able to resolve the situation. But the technician insisted on adding an extra $25 service fee that was not included in the original quote ... despite my telling him that that's not what I was quoted. Update, the business credited back the $25. The honorable way to handle this. I will continue to do business with them in the future. read more

Quick response on a Sunday. My lock decided to stop working. In about an hour, they were at my door, and they replaced my door knob and lock in a flash--and even keyed the new lock to work with my existing key. read more

Had them rekey my lock and asked for five copies of keys, thinking they would be around $2-$3, which is what they charged for a copy of the same key for the same lock (omnia). They did a reasonable job of rekeying and coming in on time, but instead of bringing generic (schlage) copies, they brought genuine omnia keys without informing me that they would cost $8 each. Wouldn't matter for one key, but 10 keys ended up $80 instead of $20 (what I paid when I made copies of omnia keys in the store two years ago). 4 stars for service, -2 stars for predatory pricing w/o informing the client ahead of time, thus average of 1 star. read more

I needed Medco keys made and no one else I went to made them. I entered Key Masters and they were happy to make the keys and even provided a generous discount since I was making many sets. In addition, just days later, a painter who was working in my place had left and somehow locked a bottom lock from inside and we have no key! (They were given the top key only and instructed to use that lock only). In a panic, I called Key Masters and the owner, Eli, not only agreed to help me, but worked with my schedule and my urgency to help me gain access to my home just a few hours later. He was kind and helpful. He even checked in with later me to make sure I was ok and the lock and keys were all working well. I'm very grateful for their service and I trust them to be there when I need them. I will absolutely use their services again. read more

Fast, friendly and great workmanship. This is the only place I will go for keys. I called Keymasters in early April to rekey the locks in my mother's house. The technician was very professional. He had a problem with one of the locks and had to change the part at no cost to me. Almost a month later I called and asked if someone could come back to the house. We were unable to open the deadbolt on the front door after locking it. He came within half an hour and worked on the lock for quite a while. He finally got it fixed at no charge. We are very happy with the prompt and professional service of this company. I would recommend them highly. read more

Great place. A real old-fashioned genuine locksmith! They are available for emergencies; very pleasant to deal with.

The owner is rude and nasty and doesn't know what she is doing! She was too busy dealing with her dogs and spouse to pay attention to something as simple as getting keys made. 5 times I brought the keys back because they wouldn't work. They still don't work! My wife had called there a few weekends ago to see about getting locks changed and she rudely stated "we don't have anyone available" and hung up the phone on her! I won't be going back there ever again!!!!! read more
