Hello Neighbors, Huge shout out to Pat from Slocum's Lock and Key in Stamford CT! He helped me out with a brand new knob and lock from Rejuvenation that broke and Rejuvenation customer support wouldn't help us. He is an expert in lock repair, installation, emergency lockouts, and anything lock related including re-keying and antique furniture locks and key extractions! http://stamfordemergencylocksmith.com Value is immeasurable when the job is done so perfectly and efficiently! The price was excellent and fair. read more

Slocum's is a great find, personable, precise and professional. He sent photos(without being asked)of what our choices and pricepoints were. Priced appropriate to the quality of service and material. Vaccumed up after the job was done! Many"locksmiths"in the area are actually call centers pretending to have locations here, techs are usually dispatched from NYC boroughs. They have no reason to develop and maintain a local reputation. Recommend Patrick Slocum without hesitation. read more

Our front door knob suddenly stopped working late Monday night leaving us with only the back sliding glass door for entering and exiting. Patrick responded to my request for help early Tuesday morning and by lunchtime the door knob and lock were functional again and he even fixed an issue that had been a problem since the original installation in late 2015. His charge for the repair was more than reasonable and I cannot begin to describe how happy we are with the service, price and response time. read more

I highly recommend working with Slocum's Lock and Key! We've been extremely busy moving and getting situated into a new home, and working with Patrick was a breeze. Patrick got back to us right and helped us replace all of the locks in our home at a very reasonable cost. He was very clear with his communication, costs for services, and payment options so that there were no surprises on our end. He also took the time to ensure everything worked properly and to our liking. We can now move into our home with new and working locks. We are very appreciative... thanks, Patrick! read more

Patrick was immediately responsive and efficient. I stupidly locked myself out of my apartment late in the day and Patrick was first to respond out of a dozen phone calls. He made sure to quote me accurately and provide alternative options of other locksmiths closer to my area since he was about 30 minutes away from my apartment. Once confirmed, Patrick was excelled at providing communication for timing of arrival and/or if he was running late. He got me into my apartment with 10 seconds and was kind enough to make extra copies of my key right onsite. I highly recommend using Patrick, he goes above and beyond for clients which is rare. read more

I highly recommend Slocum's Lock & Key to anyone looking for the services of a locksmith. I reached out to Patrick when I needed to have the locks re-keyed quickly. I called while he was at another client and he texted me immediately to let me know that he would call me back. I respect the fact that he didn't take another call while with a client but still managed to be responsive. Patrick quoted me a fair price and was able to schedule time with me first thing the next morning. Upon listening to my situation, Patrick not only performed the services I requested but also offered suggestions that would provided added comfort in the future - at no cost to me. Ultimately, Patrick quickly and thoroughly performed the requested services. His workmanship was great - in fact, he actually fixed a couple locks that were stuck so that they worked better than they had before! He also provided us with enough keys to address our needs. If you're looking for a locksmith, definitely give Slocum's Lock & Key a call! read more

Moved into a new house and needed new locks quickly - put out a bid on Yelp for nearby locksmiths & Patrick got back quickly and could get to my house that morning. Even with my movers in the house, he quickly changed out the locks and got the job done and did a great job. And even more, when I couldn't figure out why one door wasn't locking, he got back to me late at night (after I messaged him not an hour before) to tell me how that door worked. Stupid me for not knowing I had to lift the handle to lock but thankfully Patrick was willing to call me back at 9:30 on a Sat. night to make sure our door was secure. Thanks! read more
