I was very impressed with the personal service that they gave us. Michael showed up on time and he was prepared for the job. He was actually able to get the door open in a matter of 15 seconds. He stayed for another five or 10 minutes and answered all her questions on other doors, and he would give us advice on how to fix on ourselves. I would definitely use him in the future and recommend him. His dad was great too. He arranged everything even though he was on vacation. read more

I called Jim at 7:01pm and by 7:30pm (well after normal working hours) he had gotten me into my house, replaced the battery to my electronic lock that had died, keyed me a brand new key bypass for the lock so I wouldn't get locked out again and gave me some suggestions on replacing my deadbolt as well. It was an outstanding experience after being incredibly frustrated. The fact that I was able to speak to a real person and not an answering service was very refreshing. A-1 Locksmith is a family owned business and Jim and his son worked together seamlessly and were so gracious in helping my wife and I. Can't recommend Jim's services enough! read more

Jim was very great. Called on a Saturday morning expecting to have to schedule an appointment later on. Jim was able to come the same day without a rush charge. He was very knowledgeable and good communication as he was coming from another location. He changed 2 locks and deadbolts within :30 Mins with visits to his truck. Highly recommend. read more

Recommend! Jim answered the phone when I called and was polite, personable. He asked that I text pictures of the broken door lock and called me back right away after receiving them with a very reasonable quote. He came later that day to do the repair. We discovered that a piece inside the lock was broken in addition to the missing pieces that I already purchased. Jim returned 2 days later and fixed the lock. It looks beautiful and works great ! This was not a repair I could have done myself and I'm glad I called a professional. read more

Great experience - super professional to work with and excellent results. My family and I recently moved to a new house, and we had a number of locks to replace and rekey. I contacted Jim and a few other local locksmiths. The difference in experience was remarkable. Jim was prompt, thorough and a great communicator. He explained the process, walked me through the options and came back with a fair quote based on the work to be done. When it was time to do the work, he and his son showed up exactly when they said they would. They did everything to our complete satisfaction and were professional and courteous throughout. Incompetent poor business skills avoid this establishment at all cost. When a business has no decency to let you know that they are not coming to your establishment when they said they would and you have to reach out to them to see if they're coming or not that shows me that you do not know how to run a business very greedy all about money that's all the owner talked about is how much is this how much is that. do yourself a favor find a better locksmith company at least someone that you can rely and depend on that if you're stuck outside your home and need to get in they won't leave you stranded on the street wish I can give you zero stars read more

A1 helped us out of a jam when we locked ourselves out of our home with our 11 month old baby. We called A1, and got in touch with James (Jim), who upon hearing about our situation, was able to leave an existing job he was in the middle of to come to our home and unlock our door. Jim made it to us in less than 20 minutes, and solved the problem in less than 2 minutes. No damage to the door or lock. No fuss. Very friendly and professional. Thanks Jim! read more

Jim and his son are the best! Fast and efficient and MOST of all, their price is never more than the quote they give you over the phone. I had them replace a lock on my garage and later when I was locked out of my house, they helped me with that too. Great to work with, and I wouldn't use another locksmith. read more

I called Jim and Patrick after another locksmith destroyed my lock in an attempt to fix a jammed lock. They were both quick, professional and thorough. They were done in less than 10 minutes and tested the lock several times before leaving to make sure that it was working. After finding out the deadbolt wasn't lined up with the door, they adjusted it without me asking. Best of all, they completed the work for less than have the price of the other locksmith. Jim and Patrick were excellent and I wish I had called them first. read more
