Dishonest pricing/ contract "agreement". I came in here initially just for the free consultation visit when they opened in July. After the visit I went to the front desk with my 2.5 year old in tow in the stroller and was convinced by the (then) very friendly Jazmin to purchase the monthly plan that allowed 4 visits per month and apparently an extra 2 free visits for some reason on top of that. It seemed like a good deal then, especially since I was informed that it was $79 but with my husband being in the Navy it would be $69. With all the hip and back problems I've had since childbirth and carrying my son on my hips who weighs 30 pounds now, I could justify the ONE MONTH plan of $69 for myself. I was never informed to my knowledge that I would be signing up for a "required" 2 month plan. On their website it shows a plan of $79 that's a MONTHLY PLAN, meaning that it should be a month to month contract meaning you are ASKED before charged again whether you want to continue paying the $80 per month for 4 5-10 minute visits, and if you're like me (and especially if you have kids) you'll forget about it or won't have the time for yourself to come in even for the 4 visits.
If I had known I would be charged for 2 months "minimum" I would NOT have signed the contract.
I saw that they charged me for the second month (once again without the military discount like they did for the charge previous, as I had to call and ask them to refund for the $10 they "forgot" to take off the last time) and I called and Jazmin from the front desk answered. I said that I was charged for something I did not authorize and I would like to be refunded the amount of $79 and btw I'm not even in town, I'm in Oregon visiting my family so I won't even be able to use any visits anyways, which wouldn't be fair if they took MY money for something I literally cannot use, and she said they just can't do it. She said the charge already went through (checked my account and no, it hadn't, it was still pending) so it would be "impossible" for her to refund my money. I said I can't afford it right now and I can't even use the visits either. She said that the contract was month the month but was a 2 month contract. I said "that makes no sense, those are opposite terms" and she interrupted me and said "yes it does" in a very defensive way and got very rude after that. She said "can you let me talk?" In an extremely unprofessional way when I had already finished speaking. Nothing she said after that justified or made any sense to me as to why they should be able to take my money if it's against my will and for something I neither want or will be able to take advantage of. I said I'll be cancelling the charge through my bank then and she said "okay then my manager will be contacting you" as if that were a bad thing, I said "that's fine" lol.
There is literally no excuse for them to treat their patients like this, and if someone (A) can't afford the charges any more (B) has a busy life and they don't have time to come in any more or are out of the area and physically can't use their visits anymore, (C) simply don't want to be charged for something they DO NOT authorize or (D) all of the above then just let them out of the so called "contract" which are highly unethical and unnecessary anyways. It's just a piece of paper.
So, yes, it IS possible for MY money to be deposited back into my account for something I no longer wish to be charged for, Jazmin. read more
