They offer good care, BEWARE Cash paying patients if you pre-pay for a certain number of visits to get a discount and need to stop your treatment due to another issue and want a Refund as they will try to CHEAT you out of some of it!! They cheated me out of $125.00 and the girl at the desk (Courtney) said it was for the reading of my x-rays that I had Not even had yet!! I left 2 E-mails to DR. Dillard asking for an itemized receipt stating what the 125.00 was for or to send me a check! I got NO response to my e-mails nor did anyone bother to call me or send me anything.!! Make sure to get a itemized receipt for your treatment so you have proof in case they try to do this to another you!! After looking for a chiropracter I came across Dilliard Chiropractic. They were right around the corner from me. I called and set an apointment for today Thursday 8-1-2024. I arrived early and gave the front desk the info they requested. I was soon called back by one of the staff into a office. It all seemed very pleasent and I was so looking forward to getting the help I needed. The gal asked me to review paper work and sign each one. The first few pages were understandable and I signed them, the last three were questionable. These papers were basically to wave all of my rights should something go wrong. I read them twice to make sure I was understanding them. After some time as I could not sign them the gal who was asking that I signed them then because I questioned them she called another gal who basically tryed to explain it was nothing to worry about and to sign them. They explained I should not worry about signing them every time I questioned the logic. The first girl said to sign them and explained that later when I sign up for a program to agree on the terms that what she wanted me to sign was the only way we would move forward. I asked why would I agree to these terms legal terms when according to her I will sign up later. I saw the add on line that the cost for the visit would be 49.99. I was excited that they could help me. When making the apointment nothing was mentioned about a commitment to a plan. at the end I apoligised to both the girls telling them I was looking forward to getting an adjustment for my needs. Well the updated review I wrote yesterday has disappeared so here is my second attempt. My first review of Dillard chiropractic was a positive one however after going. To them for a year and the experiences I have had have prompted me to write an updated one. I have seen a chiropractor since I first had my first adjustment at nine months old so I knew very well what they did how it worked etc. I recently had a serious slip and fall incident so naturally I went to my chiropractor for care BIG MISTAKE! Not only did the partner of Dillard's not take X-rays first in order to find the area of injury but just started treating me randomly. I requested X-rays every time I went in for help only to have my requests ignored. I never got relief but having him treat me without diagnosing the injury from my fall only increased my pain which is in my right hip and middle low back which now has become so bad I fear I may have a fracture! My last straw came last week when requesting a statement of a diagnosis and a prognosis from him he gave me a bill of future appointments. Not what a statement of diagnosis and future a prognosis is which any chiropractor knows how to do I thought but as far as Dillard chiropractic goes the other chiropractor obviously is clueless however, he never took X-rays or performed any tests to find my injuries from the fall so it's impossible for him to make a diagnosis. The fact all my requests for X-rays being ignored and his treating my body blind has all resulted in further injury to my body. This is NOT what true chiropractors do! Please go elsewhere Dillard chiropractic's main purpose is not to heal your pain but to get as much of your money as they can! read more

I can not say enough great things about the doctors and staff here at Dilliard! I have spent the last 3 years in constant pain from 10 years of paddling sports and two car accidents that made things much worse. Just walking one block had me in tears! I have been in treatment here since January, just 3 months and I feel like a different person! I am able to hike, do household chores, projects and live a more normal life without constant pain. Very happy with the level of care I have received. Dr. Chris and staff are very welcoming. My initial visit was at the last moment, due to an injury and they squeezed me into their very busy Saturday schedule. I am ever grateful. I felt I should leave that final star off for those of us who commute a great distance to get here and take special care to ensure we are on time. This is a busy practice. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dilliard and his staff. We were referred to his office by a friend of ours. My wife went first. She was having trouble with her sciatic nerve after giving birth. He did not need a referral from our family doctor and was able to see her immediately. He was extremely thorough and patient in his examination, leaving no stone unturned. While he was examining her, I mentioned my tendonitis and acid reflux complaints. His response: I can fix that. He pointed out the muscles and nerves that affect digestion and suggested I come in for an exam. I made an appointment that day. Again, he was very thorough and patient in describing all the muscles and nerves involved. He even adjusted my thumb on the spot. Our daughter was next. She has always had bad posture standing and sitting and was told by the school nurse she may have scoliosis. Dr. Dilliard did a thorough exam on her as well. What impressed me the most was how he treated her fears and anxieties. We explained how she was uncomfortable with people touching her neck and throat area. Instead of dismissing it, he was very comforting and understanding, telling her he would never do anything that made her uncomfortable. Once our initial exams were completed, he scheduled us for our explanation of treatment. He insists that the whole family be present, so everyone knows what's going on, and there are no surprises. Since our whole family was examined, we all went in. He explained everything to us and detailed his recommendations for treatment. He does not prescribe medications or pain killers. The only pills he recommends are Myocalm, which are all natural. Now, all three of us see him and his staff on a regular basis. They've all made us feel like a part of an extended family. Dr. Katherine was exhaustive in her research into our insurance coverage. McKenzie is flexible in her scheduling. The entire environment is warm and friendly. My wife's sciatica is better. I cannot speak to the expertise and treatment provided by Dr. Dillard because I never actually got to see him! I went in for my free consultation and was informed I'd need about $75 for xrays and each chiropractic visit would be $50-$126. Despite all this I agreed to the initial exam. I was told to disrobe, put on the gown open to the back and wait for the Dr. After about 15 minutes alone in the room, I decided that the services were overpriced and the practice was poorly run. I NEVER post negative reviews on yelp, but this one deserves it. I'm a nurse and I know good patient care when I see it. This place didn't even get close. I will be returning to my previous provider - Ocean Breeze Chiropractic- in the future. read more

Do your homework first: I had scheduled an evaluation at Dr. Dillard's office about two years ago and had always felt compelled to write a review but I never did until today... A little back story on me, I was 23 at the time and had been experiencing out of the blue chronic neck/back pain. Pretty much any movement I was making was resulting in "snap, crackle, pop" noises which was obviously concerning. I was also suffering from severe headaches almost everyday and with all this pain I was very depressed and was desperate for relief. Fast forward to my visit: The staff was very polite and friendly and when I was handed a sheet to fill out what my issues were I felt like I was checking almost every box. An assistant came in who was very nice and asked a few questions, tested my strength and then took me back for a few x rays. Then Dr. Dillard came in and was pleasantly nice as well. He began to feel my back and every spot he touched he was calling out numbers to the assistant on the computer which seemed concerning from how he was delivering the tone. I was desperate and had poured my heart out to Dr. Dillard explaining to him what I had been going through and how I had no idea where to go because I hadn't gotten any answers from primary doctors. He assured me that he would be able to take care of all of my issues and what I had was serious for my age. He called them "sublixations" and that with his care they would be able to ease all of the issues. This was like music to my ears, I was over joyed and feeling so confident. I was then told to come in a few days later to go over my x rays and plan. When I came in a few days later another young lady assistant went over the whole thing with me and it seemed as a guilt pitch. This is what's wrong with you and if you don't follow through with our plan you're gonna be screwed. I was still on board at this point because like I said I was desperate for relief. But then Dr. Dillard came in to go over the plan... I kid you not this is exactly what he told me: He wanted me to come in EVERY DAY for a year straight. Told me that I had to quit my job and be committed to them. $6,000 plan with ONE professional massage. Like are you kidding me? He says he wants to educate people and have them make a smart decision based off of what's "wrong" with them but come on I think I'd make a realistic decision over and educated one any day. But the worst thing about it was the guilt trip after words and how bad it was gonna be if I don't do this. After I said no way and thanks for nothing I received a voicemail from him days later asking me to reconsider and that I could just do an adjust here and there for $50. If I could just do an adjustment here and there for $50 why would I need to come in every day and give you $6,000? Oh yeah that's right because you don't believe in "symptom relief" but you'll do it for the money. I was extremely bummed by this experience as I had such high hopes and actually found good reviews online. I felt understood and that I was finally going to break through what had been nagging me only to be lead on. Just be cautious. There's no doubt chiropractic work isn't cheap. But there's a fine line where you need to be realistic. Don't let him or any other chiropractor take advantage of the situation you're in and that's exactly how I felt. read more

The best part is that he genuinely cares about his patients and he makes a great effort to convey this. If need be he will adjust and massage you until your issue has been largely mitigated then he will send you to Rose for some additional E stim therapy.
