I strongly do not recommend this chiropractic office due to the poor service and lack of professionalism. This is the experience my husband had. There was no warm welcome or sense of customer care. First, the chiropractor arrived late, not respecting the schedule. My husband did not feel that his process was handled professionally or thoroughly; the chiropractor gave little explanation of his condition. When he asked the receptionist about the next appointment, she just said," It's up to you," instead of offering professional guidance. His previous chiropractor ( who moved far away) always explained his progress and recommended whether more sessions were needed. The difference in professionalism and quality here was clear. Dr. Danny Bachoua's hands are pure magic! I was struggling with vertigo, which I've never had before. After the fifth day of feeling dizzy and imbalanced I headed to the hospital. There, they performed blood work, X-rays, and even a CT scan. After all those tests, they told me that I had vertigo and to just take Meclizine..... after a couple of days without any relief, I decided to head to Dr. Bachoua's office. He immediately performed the Epley Maneuver on me, and within a couple of hours I was cured! What a relief! Dr. Bachoua is a life saver, I can't thank him enough! read more

I came in as a VA patient for migraine treatment with acupuncture. Loved the provider, but my problem began when I shifted slightly and a pain was shooting in my foot. I called out for help and no one came. I called again and again. My room was sharing a wall with the front desk. After several minutes I gave up, pulled the needles out myself, and got dressed. Upon going to the front desk I asked if they had heard me? I was tearful as I had already had anxiety attacks while calling out for help, as I told them I also have PTSD. She said yes they heard me and were trying to help......how exactly? Did anyone even acknowledge me? No. Didn't even open the door to ask a question or evaluate the situation. That is a goddamn liability, if I had fallen there would be a lawsuit, and I'm still considering my options. read more

Sad, I called this place to see if I could make an appointment, and to see if they accepted my insurance. Unfortunately I was told that they do not except Sharp healthcare. What kind of place in San Diego doesn't even except health insurance for chiropractic care? I'm completely disappointed by this since my insurance clearly covers chiropractic acupuncture and all types of other care. It's just lazy that in a medical profession that they don't want to work with in a medical system. Obviously they just want to rake people over the coals for cash price. I made an appointment with Dr. Danny at San Diego chiropractic. I received no communication about my appointment running 45 minutes late. I was in pain my back was thrown out and I found it completely unprofessional to run that late without speaking to me about it and apologizing .... I'm in the customer service business and that is so unacceptable. However , I like him as a person . I've met him one or two times....But that doesn't change the fact of my experience. I will be finding a new chiropractor. I feel everyone's time is very valuable a simple phone call prior to the appointment would've been sufficient and welcomed. Update : same day Dr Danny called me personally And apologized and offered me another appointment complimentary.... Great customer service , and was very sincere in his apology .... Dr. Bachoua is a great chiropractor! I sprained my ankle in December and it was still very tender and tight a few months later. Dr. Bachoua did a laser treatment on in and also a few adjustments. It feels much better, I have no problems with it and the swelling is completely gone. I also have some chronic back pain. Particularly in my lower left hip because of using a tool belt at work. The pain was shooting down my leg and felt sharp. Now my lower back is feeling much better, no shooting pain. Now we are working on my neck/shoulder pain because I get headaches a lot. The office staff is super helpful and Dr. Bachoua is a pleasure to see. He is friendly, has great energy and is always smiling! He will help you understand whatever you ask (I like to ask a lot of questions). It's been helpful that they have remained open during COVID-19 so I can take care of this stuff while I have more time. The office is very clean, you can get an appointment very easily, and the women working the front desk and are very nice and organized. I get in and out no problem. It is scary to find a new chiropractor, sometimes you feel like a number at these offices, but I think Dr. Bachoua is really good, honest, and genuinely wants to help you heal the source of your pain. read more

I have been going to this business for 1.5 years and they are excellent. I decided on their services after researching other local chiropractors. I have seen a different chiropractic business several years ago. Don't hesitate even if you pay out-of-pocket. Your back is worth this expertise. I am a senior and I have chronic back issues, especially after my knee surgery (in pain months before the surgery and healing afterwards). When I first saw Dr. Danny I couldn't drive, use the recumbent bike or walk for a reasonable distance. I was in tears and when asked what I expected from the treatment, I responded with "just wanting my normal life back". I am extremely grateful for their individualized care. I also do the acupuncture (which was a unfamiliar concept to me) and it is wonderful. Theresa is problem focused in her treatment and she makes you feel so comfortable. I have returned to my normal life, as I knew it before my knee problems. I go to the gym 3-4 days/week and I feel so much stronger. Thank you Dr. Danny, Theresa and staff Ashley and Elizabeth. After suffering with neck and back pain for weeks. Trying everything from stretching, jacuzzis, prescription medicines, Motrin, Salon Pas and massages to fix my body aches with only minor success. Nothing really took the pain away. It just made the pain more manageable but didn't fix the problem. Not until I came to San Diego Chiropractic Services in La Mesa did I truly feel relief. It was like I finally could itch a real bad itch that I couldn't reach but ten times better. A very clinical establishment that has a relaxed, friendly feel. Covered by most insurances. My actual out of pocket was more than affordable. The staff is very professional, prompt. They definitely made me feel at ease throughout the process from the filling out of the forms to the actual treatment. This included X-rays and consultation. The service here is top notch. The end result for me was full mobility with no pain. Not sure why I didn't come here first instead of wasting money with the other things I tried to remedy my back and neck pain with. Over the course of about 2 months, I waited on multiple occasions for 40-45 minutes in the waiting room, as listening to other people also complain about the overbooking. This went on for several visits before I eventually left one evening, after 40 minutes .. (5pm or so). Next morning I got a call to schedule a new appointment, no apology, explanation.. nothing.. the front desk lady actually caught and attitude with me because i said I can't keep waiting for 40-45 minutes for 5-10'minutes of actual care and she said sometimes this is just a part of receiving medical care. What a complete cop out. I have since left and they have not made it easy obtaining MY medical files, for my auto accident paperwork. Word of advice, go somewhere else. read more

Being from Canada, it's always an adventure travelling and trying to find a chiropractor that's affordable and good. After a search of YELP and the many reviews, I decided to trust my neck to Dr. Danny Bachoua and wasn't disappointed. My neck had been out and giving me migraines that were making me sick to my stomach... as soon as the first adjustment was done the migrane went away. As he adjusted my back the heart burn that was burning a hole through my chest stopped. In addition to helping out my neck I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the treatment was! I forgot to give a shout out the last time I was here- my 1st experience- i found this place through yelp- I walked in like quasimodo from the huntch back of Notre-Dame but in serious pain- Not even joking.. Honestly- I don't know if I had a pinched nerve or what- my back felt like it was slipping disks, I dont know- but Dr Danny and his staff are the best! I gimped in the office very depressed and left jumping and runing out the door- even worked out the same night. Shout out to the first girl who prezzled my back because I forget her name (it was over a year ago). Sorry but she was great!! 2nd time- same deal! My personal physician miss diagnosed me for pain in my kidneys- bed ridden for 5 days and even one emergency self check in. Then got my ultrasound to find out my kidneys where perfect. When I was in the emergency the doctors said this could be "possible musculatory"- I wish I would not had spent 300 bucks at the ER- BUT! My health is important... I called Dr Danny left a voice mail on a Friday and he saw me the next day Saturday- crack crack crack to the back and good to go. I am lucky to have found such a great place. After having a low grade headache for days and knowing my neck was out, I went in to get an adjustment. Let me just say that I want the Roller Table that they put you on, in my house!! I had Dr. Amanda for my adjustment, and she was very thorough. She found that my hip was out and I hadn't even realized it until it was back in and I could feel the difference. My neck was in bad shape. After adjusting both to the left and right, my muscle was still really tight, and hadn't gone back in yet, so Amanda worked on my neck, massaging it for a while to get it to relax, and then after a hard turn, was able to get it back in place. Needless to say, I was sore for 2 days after, but am feeling much better now! It also helps that this place is so close to work! It's convenient, and they're able to get me in same day if needed. read more

My name is Sam, retire Force Recon Marine (special Ops). Fought in Vietnam in 1967, wounded twice and 100% disabled. Recover was hard but I made it back as a whole individual. Took up golf which was my panacea for those "flashbacks." A few months back I strained my back at the practice golf range, To ad insult to injury I fell off a latter working on my patio roof and hurt two spinal joints and also hurt muscles on my right back by strain. I felt like Dr. Danny performed a miracle today. I've always believed in chiropractor's, but I was in so much pain today that I didn't have too much faith that I was gonna walk out in better shape than i walked in. In fact, I was a little scared that I was gonna be in worse condition after some hard charger tries to force my injured back into doing something it wasn't ready to do. Dr. Danny took it easy on me and performed his magic. Don't get me wrong. I wasn't instantly cured and healed, but I was able to tie my shoes again, without any stabbing pain. I go back in two days for a follow up and hopefully I can start training at the gym again. I've been to a bunch of chiro's before, and this was the nicest office of them all. It was hi-tech compared to any other place I've been. He put me on this cool table that shifted(like an electric massage table, but for spine movement) back and forth to loosen me up with a cold pad. It was awesome, I wish I had one at home. If you've ever experienced back pain, you know how important a good chiro is to getting you back to normal. They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. But I say, pain sucks and it's good to know Dr. Danny. I'll write a follow up review after I feel 18 again(that would be a miracle). read more

I've been going to see Dr. Danny for almost a year now. I'm a runner and I chose Dr. Danny because he works with athletes. He's been an important part of my training and race preparation program. The effects of his adjustments last well through race day and I try to see him in the days immediately following a race whenever possible. He always has great advice on how to stay in tip top shape including tips specific to whatever I'm currently experiencing i.e. stretches for tight hips, painful shins, etc. He understands the needs of an athlete and he's even available on weekends (most times) to get that last minute adjustment before an event. Terrible service. Was in pain, had an appt, arrived early to do paperwork, waited over an hour and still was not seen, even after numerous inquiries to each of which I was told " just five more minutes": after An hour and a half of this bs I finally left. Went down the street to Dr: David Jackel who saw me immediately, and relieved my pain within 15 minutes. By the way as I sat cooling my heels for an hour and 15 at this place numerous people came in got adjusted and left while I just got ignored. The receptionist acted all surprised and offended when I finally said I have to go, I have another appointment and I'm out of time, sorry honey but I got here early and you obviously give zero thoughts about me.
