This office is so rude and unprofessional. I received an explanation of benefits from my insurance for charges that are not ours. The office claims my husband has been seen in the office since April 2025. I have tried to explain that someone is using my husband's information and insurance, but they refuse to listen. Melinda from the office stated that we would have to come into prove that my husband has not been in the office. This is fraud! I will be reporting this to the medical board. read more

My sciatica issue was quelled in a short time of frequent visits and I was able to do a family Grand Canyon hike without any flair ups. Had my first and last visit with them. She was nice however, she did the bare minimum a chiropractor had ever done for me. She didn't even crack me at all and gave me a mini shoulder massage and seemed awkwardly nervous. Nice lady, but not the skilled chiropractor I'm looking for. read more

My favorite chiropractor by far! I have been going here for a few years now. I love the atmosphere, the staff, and best of all how effective the treatments are! I am almost 7 months pregnant, and just yesterday morning I pulled a muscle in my lower back on my left side, and I have also been suffering from sciatica on my right side. They saw me the same day, and were ready for me right when it was my time. Dr Brinegar addressed all my concerns, and made me feel relaxed enough and prepared so I didn't feel nervous the way other chiropractors have when they are too rough and abrupt. Just after the visit I felt 50% better in the pulled muscle, and have been feeling progressively better since then. Also my sciatica seems to have just gone away completely! I also took my second son here a couple years ago when he was learning to walk. He had been crawling with one leg tucked under him, and been walking with furniture for a few months with no progression, despite having very strong legs. Right after the first visit he finally stood by himself, and stopped tucking his leg under him! Right after the second visit he walked his first few steps, and directly after the third he was completely walking by himself with no problem. I will be going back soon to finish care on my pulled muscle, to help prepare my hips for delivery, and I will definitely be taking my new baby here as well. read more

Why have I waited so long to try a chiropractor! It took me being in severe pain for over a week to finally decide to try it. I had a lower back injury that was causing severe nerve pain. In a moment of desperation, I looked on yelp and called the first place I saw. I'm so glad I found this place, and especially Dr. Prout! I was able to get in for an appt quickly. Dr. Prout was very friendly, personable, and knowledgable. I had no idea what to expect, given it was my first time. She explained everything to me and was very gentle. She gave me recommendations for what to do at home. By the next day, my back felt MUCH better. 3 days later, the pain is almost gone. I am very upset about the care I have recieved from this office. Truthfully, I feel rushed everytime I come in. There is no plan of care discussed. Its more of a rushed appt to get on with the next patient. I held my tounge about this for a long time but today made me so upset that now I am saying something about my care. I came into his office with complaint of twisting in my hips and he took one look at my feet and said, I dont like those feet". Apparently I have broken down arches. I told him no wonder my feet hurt so bad. We made an appt for orthotic fitting. My insurance would only pay if we went though certain manufacturers. He said he would help me. His receptionist even said he was great at stuff like this. I called back over a week later to get an update. He said he hadnt gotten to it. He forgot me! I have been in excrutiating pain thinking I finally had a solution to my problem and he forgets about me! I'm so upset. To be forgotten about as a patient really sucks. We used Dr B when we were in the area last winter, and we used him again this winter. Even while we were staying down in Chula Vista December-February, we made the drive out to Santee - he's that good. Sam and the other girls in the office are great, Dr B has great bedside manner and a wealth of knowledge, and Mark the massage therapist (I think the other review about a bad therapist was the old one) is great. Dr. O'Dell is very nice and personable but just didn't suit my needs. I felt like I would point out the areas of concern each visit and, instead of focusing on them and tailoring the adjustment to my needs, she'd just end up giving me the same routine adjustment every time. I understand that my back is completely messed up ... but, I shouldn't be leaving my chiro visits with the same pain I came in with because it wasn't addressed (i.e., my hip). Also, unlike other chiropractor's I've had in the past, no x-rays were done (nor a formal exam). So, that was a bit odd as well. Additionally, I explained my desperate need for a massage on many occasions but was never offered the opportunity to make an appointment for one (when they do them in-house). I was told that it would be a "next step" when every other chiro I've ever been to has focused on massage FIRST (or in combination with adjustments). Oh, and the ladies at the front desk (one in particular) are pretty clueless. read more

I had not been to a chiropractor for awhile - and found Dr. Brinegar through groupon. I liked the website and the sound of the office from what I read online - and I wasn't disappointed! He is great and easy going, and really cares about your care. Everyone in the office is nice, and helpful, and welcoming. This is especially important when you're nervous or in pain! I came in after I tore muscles in my shoulder during a fall, and after a few weeks I had almost complete mobility, where I had probably 20% when I first came in. I've been going back every month just to continue to work on my shoulder flexibility and health - and it's worth every trip! I highly recommend this office for chiropractic. read more

Dr Prout really helped with readjusting the misalignment in my upper spine causing limited mobility and pain in my neck. And after two acupuncture visits with Jerry, my neck and shoulder muscles feel normal again. I am an ER nurse and I carry my stress in the shoulders and neck. Jerry treated me, but also taught me some useful tricks to make the most of the sessions. I was literally learning to live with chronic pain and now I am fine! I think together with exercise, occasional readjustments and acupuncture sessions, I should have my pain free life back for good. read more

I've been to several chiropractors in the past 8 years and I can't say enough about Dr. Brinegar!!! I have two compressed disks an have been seeing him exclusively now for about 3 years. He's a miracle worker!! Asks all the right questions to find out exactly what is going on and adjusts his treatments accordingly. He also does adjustments on my children and they feel so much better afterwards! I'm also ecstatic about Mark, the massage therapist! He finds areas that I didn't even know were tight! I just completed 600+ mile charity bike ride down the coast of CA and I was worked. Not only was my back totally wrecked from the ride but I crashed halfway thru and cracked my ribs. Been going to Dr. B for years and can't recommend him highly enough! An active lifestyle combined with my crooked spine leads to my back and/or neck seizing up at times. Dr. B is always my go to man. Between his adjustments, electric stim and massage, I always walk out in less pain, and I am back to 100% within a few treatments. When I maintain some consistency in my treatment, I am virtually pain free. Recently, my daughter had some back issues and was a little hesitant to get treatment. As I already have a chiropractor who does not work with orthotics, I went to Dr. Janis Prout for orthotics only. Orthotics are not new to me: but, since having a hip replacement my old, rigid orthotics were no longer working for my new, balanced me. I sought help due to debilitating knee pain: and as a former runner I know the adage that with knee pain first check your shoes. As my knee was a bit swollen Dr. Prout first emphasized that I should also visit my primary medical doctor. She then shared with me the three options (dress/work shoes, flats, running shoes) that I might consider. Dr. Prout noticed that I had hammer toes on my left foot so she added an element that may "limit" further development. She added that same element to my right foot as a prophylactic. I also have a chronic burning, stinging & slicing feeling in my left large toe...and sometimes in the large toe on my right foot. The pain keeps my from sleeping until I can manage to keep my feet from touching anything. Previously I saw a podiatrist (five visits) to treat this pain: he diagnosed it to be diabetic in nature, but I don't have diabetes. He gave me a soft, padded bandage and sent me on my way. "There is nothing I can do about your problem," said he a year ago. Yes, it was serendipitous that we found this cure...BUT THESE PRESCRIBED ORTHOTICS ARE THE CURE! I am so delighted and grateful that Dr. Prout gave me such a thorough evaluation and then made the recommendations that she did. I no longer have knee pain nor do I have the pain in my feet. I AM HAPPY!!! THANK YOU DR. PROUT for your thoroughness! I have two more pair to buy to have the set of three and am saving for them SO THAT I MAY ALWAYS HAVE THE ORTHOTIC SUPPORT I need............Gosh, new hip, no pain in my knee, my feet feel great throughout the day AND I can sleep at night without pain. For two months I had horrible lower back pain that came on suddenly. I made countless visits to my Dr. and hundreds of dollars spent on basically him telling me I had to learn to live with the pain, and I was taking up to 4 Vicodin a day. When I asked my Dr. about a chiropractor, he told me chiropractors were quacks and not to go ... but instead go to the physical therapist for a 90 session program... that would cost 40 bucks a pop. I was so drained and physically and mentally exhausted that I had to take matters into my own hands. I decided I would call a chiropractor. I decided on Bringer because it was close to my home, and it's proved to be the best decision I've ever made. From day one my pain was going away. After three visit my chiropractor has fixed my problem. I do have some residual pain, I'm sure it will take some time for me to fully recover, but now I have quality of life again. At 28 years old I refused to "live with the pain" and I'm so glad I chose this company. From the minute I walked in, I felt welcome and I felt like she truly had concern for my well being. Chose this chiropractor based on great reviews on Yelp. I'm in a lot of pain and need to get in to see a chiropractor ASAP. I waited two hours til this office opened up because of the great reviews. (They are closed 12-3pm) I called to see if they take my insurance and make an appt to go in ASAP. Well, despite the fact that I know what my insurance coverage is and can bring in proof, they could not do anything until speaking to my insurance. They do take my insurance but need to verify my chiropractor coverage (I can bring proof). So they called my insurance and they were closed. Maybe it's because they're on the east coast and I had to wait forever til you opened back up again???? They wanted to make me an appointment next week once they could verify my insurance coverage. Not sure what part of I'm in pain and can barely walk you didn't understand but NO thank you!!! I'll take my money and my insurance elsewhere. And leave you a bad review read more

so i accidentally stuck a q tip too far into my ear this morning (yeah, yeah. save your laughter please). as soon as i got to work i started having horrible episodes of vertigo and nausea. after googling my symptoms and possible causes and treatments, i called my chiro to be seen right away. she's out of town so i googled the one closest to me. when i told the front desk gal my problem she fit me in right away. i saw dr. prout and she was very nice and asked a lot of questions to have. a better understanding of what i was feeling. after a full adjustment and a maneuver made for relieving vertigo, i left a happy gal! haven't had another episode since the adjustment (about 45 mins now) and my body feels great! will definatly be going back! read more
