9/4/2025 we had a couple of hours between appointments so we decided to try crepes (after watching the Great Food Truck Race) here at the Jagged Fork. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entrance was a little difficult to find and eventually noticed that the entrance was inside the mall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted promptly and friendly and seated near a window which we like. I have never had crepes but my husband has so I followed his lead and selected the Cloud Nine. There is a crepe food truck on season 16 of the Great Food Truck Race that has been placing in the top two of the competition so that's why we decided on crepes this morning. My orange juice was delicious and so were the crepes. I'm now a crepe fan! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The establishment was clean and welcoming and the staff were terrific.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As the sign on the wall says, there is no wifi so visit with the one you came with and pretend it's 1995.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is actually the 4th Jagged Fork location I've been to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I actually liked the set up of this particular restaurant, though the entrance was a little tricky to find from the direction we came from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sadly I'm normally raving about it, but this location needs some work. The staff did not give our party silverware and were short with us when we asked for it. They later explained they had to get it cleaned for us. Still odd. We went on a Sunday around 1:30 PM so not like right before closing or anything. The potatoes were completely unseasoned and my carnitas was extremely dry. The Lathrup Village location seasons their potatoes well and we enjoy it. My husband and friends didn't get their drinks and had to ask for them and remind the server what they ordered. This was well after we received our food, and then silverware. The server rarely came to our table and never refilled our water. Not sure if it was just an off day but won't be back to this one!

This Jagged Fork has several locations. This is the West Bloomfield location that is in Orchard Mall. This was our after church destination for Sunday brunch. The food was just okay for the price. I ordered the new limited time offering of Shrimps and Grits. It was too spicy for my taste from the Cajun butter. My daughter said her food was okay too. There was an additional delay after we finished our breakfast because the point of sale was adding additional charges to everyone's check. So, there was an extended wait for them to correct the system if you were using a card versus cash to pay for your bill. They did at one point offer to charge my card for the higher amount and would credit my card the next day for overage. This was a little unsettling and now we had a one year old getting very restless from being her so long after finishing eating. It turns out we waited long enough for the system to correct itself so we received an accurate check as well as the surrounding diners. I truly hope this was just a fluke and not a regular occurrence. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location does have various seating options - bar, bench and booth.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is no WIFI, so please talk to each other.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food and service was very good! We came in for Mother's Day and we had a great experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was immaculate[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and we will definitely be coming back!

This place is always excellent. I got the s'notes French toast this morning and holy crap, it was incredible! Service has sometimes been a bit slow when inside but have taken to ordering ahead and picking up to eat at home and it's consistently excellent. Highly recommend!

Boiled meat , supposedly "slow-braised, fall apart short rib" .

Back here again, against my better judgment and against my wishes. The food is still awful. Don't doubt the poor ratings--they are real. Ordered the "limited time only" "Braised Shortrib Benny". Don't fall for the fancy tabletop placard. It's garbage. The "rich short rib hollandaise" --- it's just their usual yellow tasteless sauce. The "layered" shortrib---some chunks of plain BOILED meat.

As super lovely and relaxing vibe. They have a counter that says "Order Here" but there was one other table who ordered at their table and received the check at the end of their meal like regular table service. They offer a guest WiFi network, but definitely would not recommend taking any meetings or calls from this space; it's definitely not that kind of cafe! Food (5/5): I ordered the French Classic, which is egg, cheddar, and ham. It was SO delicious and generously portioned. I honestly didn't expect to feel so full, especially since this crepe wasn't as filled as some of the other ones on the menu, but wow! The crepe itself has a very lovely flavor and well complimented by the thin layer of egg inside. (Sidenote: I've gone back another time since I started writing this review, this time trying the 9am and the Lean Machine crepes. Both tasty and generous with the fillings, but I think the French Classic is still my favorite among the three. You get to taste the crepe itself more, and it's really good!) Service (5/5): I had very obviously portioned off and set aside half the crepe to take home and the staff very skillfully clocked it and handed me a box for it without me even asking. Everyone there is so friendly and attentive, and it really makes me want to keep coming back (and I will!).

I ventured out within a couple of hours of viewing to experience Le crepe on Washington Avenue in downtown Royal Oak. I was greeted upon entering while my 2-high top table was arranged. The ambiance and vibe in this small space was extremely relaxing and the staff friendly. Tiekeya, the owner, was helpful when I explained that it was my first time. My server was her niece, a young lady with a tremendous smile who shared she was a student at MSU as I was wearing a pullover displaying her Alma mater that I know well from paying so much tuition over several years for my children. I started with an enjoyable vanilla cappuccino which was prepared to my liking. I did not feel rushed at all, but the service was attentive and consistent throughout my dining experience. The restaurant was quite popular on this morning and I heard others mentioning the segment on the news. It was funny, as I was texting a couple of friends (foodies) from work who were very curious to hear about my experience. I was sharing quickly upon sitting down as this was a nice treat. I reviewed the menu which had several unique choices and I decided to order The Green Goat which was a crepe containing pan-seared chicken, bacon, Granny Smith apples, and caramelized onions with goat cheese and a little arugula. The combination of flavors was delicious in every aspect! Wow! As wonderful as my main course was, the sweet crepe favorites were even tastier. I chose the Cinnamon Sweet Cheese with bananas which included a crepe containing the bananas and a house cinnamon cream cheese icing that was fantastic! Thanks again to Fox 2 News as I will gladly make the 24 minute drive to enjoy this experience again. I also was thrilled to meet Chef Dennis in the kitchen who I had seen on the news. Do enjoy if you venture out and there is free parking for the first two hours in the nearby garage. Le Crepe was so good that I returned the next day and enjoyed a wonderful local brewed enjoyable coffee while I waited for a table. On day #2, I was really struggling to decide which crepe to try from so many descriptive choices on the menu. I chose the James Dean which was also fantastic once again. It was a delicious combination of flavors of scrambled eggs, a slightly spicy homemade sausage that was a perfect complement, and red skin potatoes with a cherry sauce drizzle. Tiekeya assured me that I can try one of the others when I come back on Tuesday . It is wonderful to meet such a kind business owner and it was refreshing to experience the staff interaction and she shared that I have now become one of her "regulars". I can't wait to come back and introduce family and friends to this amazing menu of tasty treats.
