I am staying close by at an hotel and was dying for a salad and soup. This place fit the bill. It's in a strip plaza down the street. Easy to park and fairly easy to get to. Large space. Kind of deceiving. Lots of tables and counter space. At 4p on a Wednesday they were empty. I was too late for lunch and too early for dinner. They had a bunch of soups that looked good. I got the lemon chicken soup which is homemade. And I got the Greek salad with Greek dressing. Soup was good. Salad was good as well. Very fresh and generous with ingredients. They didn't skimp. Dressing good too. No complaints at all. It fit the bill perfectly. Prices not bad. My large salad and large soup were $21 with tax. Worth it. Nice little find. read more

Food: 4 stars. Wife had the #3 on grilled white and I had the number 1 on grilled Onion roll. The meat was a high quality and sliced thin to perfection. The only downside was that they serve new dills. Not an issue for me but wife wasn't thrilled. Service: 4 stars. We got the only bag of red hot chips that were on the shelf. when got them home all the way to chesterfield twp. They were stale we looked at the date and it was August 25, 2024. My mom ate her sandwich and I didn't eat mine because it wasn't what I ordered. I didn't take one single bite off the sandwich because I was going to return it. They aren't open on the weekend so my mom went to return all of the items and was told we didn't buy it from them. SIR you weren't there a lady and younger black man waited on us. They charge 3% to use the card so i told the lady and my mom that we will go and get cash from bank of america. This man said we didn't buy anything from them but if he roll those security cameras back on Friday you will clearly see my mom and I. Excellent corned beef reuben. Not very busy at lunchtime, which makes it a hidden gem.

The experience was not as pleasant as its counterpart on 10 Mile and Greenfield. My first time trying this location and seeing as how the menu is the same, I figured "why not?" I called in my order for a #10 The Business, which is Turkey pastrami, lettuce, tomato, and mustard on grilled rye and I asked to add corned beef to that. Something I get so often at the other location, they want to name the sandwich after me! I get there. No customers. The girl ringing me up is nice. I get home, ready for my delicious sandwich, and to my dismay it is nothing but a regular corned beef sandwich with lettuce and tomato, no grilled bread. And to make matters worse, the nice girl that took my order over the phone had even double checked to make sure I wanted my bread grilled. So, even though this location is about 4 minutes from my house, I'd rather drive 15 minutes to get to the Greenfield location because at least my order will be correct! read more

Menu on website is old and wrong. I ordered off that menu. Price was significantly different, and when I got home with my order - it was not what I thought I was ordering. The value of this food is not great. Paid $38 for 2 sandwiches and onion rings. Sandwiches were okay - but not $38 great. Don't recommend. read more

Yummy! Eat here for lunch often. It's a bit pricey for me for a sandwich but even the junior size is very filling.

I have had the Greek Salad, CesarSalad, Chicken Salad Sandwich, turkey pastrami sandwich and turkey Reuben (I do not eat beef or pork)., as well as chocolate , red velvet, and German Chocolate cakes, The portions are large and tasty. Appeared to be hand cut rye, good portion of Sy Ginsberg corned beef, (better portion than Star Deli on 12 Mile), too little coleslaw was too creamy, though it may have been affected by too much russian dressing. The price was MORE than that on the web site. I think the sandwich was good, but not a great value. The environment was too light and airy for a typical deli - doesn't feel or smell like what I'm used to. Having said all that, I will go back ... just not that often. read more
