Stand at the ABE event 2025 this year. Finally decided to try it out, about 6-8 folks in front of us, line moves quickly and food is out quickly too. Ordered 1 of each: Reuben, chicken and crab Rangoon. $21 Took a condiment of each available dressing: sweet chili, ranch, thousand. The Rueben was half empty, had to bite down to half of the roll before getting to any meat. The chicken roll was only about 2/3 full. The crag Rangoon was 2/3 full, mostly cheese, not much krab. The Rangoon was the better of the 3, mostly because it's cream cheese and you just can't beat cream cheese at all. The Reuben and the chicken were both okay. Egg Roll Diva has been on the rise over the last few years. Belinda Beard, the Egg Roll Diva herself, started the business during the pandemic. The original recipe was passed down to her from mother. Now, she's been featured on the local news 30+ times, and even had a concession stand at Little Caesars Arena. More recently, she won a $10,000 grant from Michigan Women Forward, and is using the proceeds to purchase a second food truck. The menu features 6 egg rolls, garlic parmesan French fries, and regular fries. I tried all of the egg rolls aside from the vegan option, and also the garlic parm fries. The fries had a soft texture and were very cheesy. As for the egg rolls, my personal ranking is below: 1. Jamaican Jerk Chicken 2. Corned Beef 3. Peach Cobbler 4. Cheeseburger 5. Southwestern Chicken The story and concept behind Egg Roll Diva makes it what it is. Simply put, if you don't like egg rolls, than Egg Roll Diva isn't for you. I don't usually try food trucks, but I am so happy I tried this one! The egg rolls were delicious, specially the crab Rangoon and southwest chicken. The sauces paired so deliciously and it was so worth trying. You can get 1 for $6.50 or 2/$12, but trust me, one isn't enough! Excited to see where else this food truck will be! read more

I've slowly been getting into spicy food. The Jamaican Jerk Chicken Eggroll was a bit spicy but it was so good! Food was good and the service was good. Very happy and welcoming. I'd like to try more of their food. Overall a great experience! read more

I'm not innocent in this interaction, I recognize that. But the staff was so incredibly rude to us. Waited for 20 minutes in line, when they abruptly came out, closed the sign, and walked away. a lady aked what was happening and the guy said "we're taking a 20 minute break". I then said "it would've been nice to get a warning about it" and the staff replied, "this IS your warning" with so much attitude and then slammed the door to the truck closed. Friends went back to the window after 30-40min and they watched someone else walk up to the window and get ignored. I'm a very patient person. I worked as a waitress for years, Im a nurse, I know what They do is stressful, and it was hot. But just say "hey we're tired, we really need 20minutes. Please come back then". So we didn't get any eggrolls. read more

My favorites are the cheeseburger, vegan, and corned beef egg roll. I've had other egg rolls and they typically make me sick (I'm gluten sensitive). But, these are fresh, filling and easy on my stomach. If you've seen EggRoll Diva on any news outlet, I can attest that her bubbly personality matches what you see. Always friendly service. Great food great customer service best in Detroit .she was very kind and funny I got a very good experience not just buying food but actually interacting and talking to her was really pleasant and her staff was cool also. I'm always on the look for a good food truck. I've been on the looking for this one for what seems to be forever. Every time I've tried to go, they've either been closed or sold out. When we finally were able to catch up to them, we had one of everything. The cheeseburger, corned beef and crab rangoon egg rolls were all really good. Each one was packed. They definitely were NOT dinky little egg rolls. My favorite was the southwest chicken. It was filled with chicken, beans, corn and other deliciousness! It was served with an avocado ranch that made it super yummy! The peach cobbler dessert was a crispy egg roll filled with cobbler peaches, dusted in sugar and drizzled with a buttery cinnamon sauce. It was as wonderful and sweet as the owner! She took the time to greet and talk with us, as well as, share her great food! read more

I had been looking for her truck since I saw her on the news, but I was not impressed when I finally got to taste her food. It was just something to eat. I need to stop listening to these news reporters claim the food is so Good. The service was good, but the ambiance of her food truck was disgusting. I am a very particular cook and I find it extremely difficult to cook in an unclean kitchen. It takes me longer to cook because I am constantly cleaning, but she did not seem to have a problem with cooking in filth. read more

I was so happy to see the egg roll diva at the wine dot Street fair. I had my best friend with me and she had never had the eggrolls before.
