Not bad for hotel restaurant food. I like their sliders and wings. Not greasy at all I saw other people get club sandwich and they are huge so even the menu is small but the quality is not bad if you don't want to venture out to Southfield to get food late at night since Southfield is not the nicest town in Detroit

Club Sandwich and Chips on White (January 2020)

I stopped by the restaurant/bar around 6:30pm on a Tuesday after flying in from Chicago. I was in the mood for a club sandwich had and they did not disappointed. Sandwich was excellent and the staff warm and friendly. It work about 15 minutes which was fine as I wasn't in a hurry. Everyone else eating there appeared happy with their food.

We tried this place as we were staying on this hotel. Ambiance was good, it was quiet and they had both a full bar and restaurant. Food was excellent! We ordered the cheese dip with pretzels and they were delicious! I ordered the Bayou Shrimp Pasta and the dish was of a good size, cream tomato sauce was very tasty and it had plenty of shrimp. The only pitfall was service. Our server disappeared for more than 10 min every now and then and we had to call other servers to get us drinks or additional items. Other than that, it's a good option if you don't want to drive and stay and wind down.

Great food and quick friendly service. Nice selection on the menu with a good dribble selection.

I have to say that FH Brunch House has, possibly, the best menu I've seen at a Brunch spot in the…read more Farmington, Livonia, Southfield, Detroit area Like the sheer amount of options on the table is ridiculous. You have smoked salmon skillets or omelets, shrimp and grits, buffalo rock shrimp hash, steak bowls etc. I genuinely cracked a smile when scanning their menu. It was like everything I wanted, but had trouble finding, made its way onto there. Awesome. Food was absolutely fantastic. I have had shrimp and grits at almost every spot the sun sets on in the Detroit Metro area. This iteration was very high quality. Lots of gumbo sauce and lots of shrimp, just as god intended. Also the grits were very creamy and not mealy or lumpy at all. Loved it! The smoked salmon skillet was also extremely good. A good amount of salmon was on the skillet and the salmon was smoked well. Good sized portion of crispy hash browns as well. Well done I am going to be coming here multiple times to try all the items that caught my eye on the menu, so stay tuned as this review may be updated. Service has been great every time I've gone. Bronson was an incredible waiter and knew his way around the house specialities, was extremely pleasant, and was awesome with the refills (I drink a ton of water and coffee so this was much appreciated). He made the visit a treat and the excellent service I've received is a big reason I've gone back to FH multiple times. The restaurant has a "factory" theme to it! It's not overbearing at all, and makes for very fun decorations, bathrooms etc. I thought it was very cool. There's plenty of parking here (which is often a problem with nice brunch spots in the area) and the menu value is very, very good for the quality of dishes you're getting. I loved it and I'll be back!

Blew away my expectations. I was expecting a perfectly enjoyable breakfast, but didn't think it…read morewould offer taste that I couldn't get many other places. Well, I was wrong about that. First is that it has a big menu, which I don't always feel is a good thing as it risks not really specializing in one area. Well, I was proven wrong. The 'big apple' is a signature dish and one that comes up on many searches, so I went with it. From a regular pic, it might not jump out to you and you may think it's almost like an apple fritter (though nothing wrong with that), but it's so much more. It's almost difficult to describe. It seems like it was cooked in it's own unique bowl-shaped pan since it's crispy all around, including the edges that lift a couple inches. It's surprisingly light, almost like a light, airy crepe. Maybe even a bit like a Yorkshire pudding. Of course, it's sweet and the apple aspect of it was also better than I expected. Almost certainly real apples roasted in house added with cinnamon sugar and not just something prefabricated from a bag and warmed. We had a huge group of three families and everyone loved what they had. The pancakes were a huge hit and were true butter milk pancakes. Those, and many other things, tasted as though made with real butter. My daughter loved her crepes. The friend with me was really impressed with his omelet. It goes on. Another friend had never had potato pancakes before (such as latkes) and loved them here. So yeah, this place was a massive hit for me and about 15 others I was with. Will be back for sure.

Walking in, there was very limited seating and about an hour wait, which clearly showed how popular this spot is. Thankfully, the hostess told us about their basement bar area where you can grab drinks and snacks while waiting. The downstairs area had such a cool speakeasy vibe dark ambiance, vinyl music playing, and honestly the perfect date night atmosphere. The drinks were REALLY good, and you can also order appetizers down there. Once we made it upstairs, we grabbed bar seating and talked to a few people around us who all said this was their favorite spot. Our bartender was amazing -- super attentive, explained the menu well, and gave great recommendations. We ordered the wings (perfectly seasoned and so good) and the chicken sandwich with buffalo added for a little spice... absolutely delicious. I also tried the pistachio martini, and wow definitely one of my favorite drinks I've had in a while. Overall, such a great experience from the atmosphere to the food and service. I'll definitely be back, and I've already been telling all my friends about this place!

Then someone politely said y'all must be looking for downstairs. Sure were! As it turned out, we were escorted downstairs to what people refer to as the Vinyl Room.
