Service at this restaurant in the Southfield Marriott is consistently terrible - Avoid If You Can! You get a table right away but you have to seat yourself. Drinks take forever. Last night was 30 mins before I could order, and then another 30+ to get the food, and then the waitress disappeared. When she reappeared, another 20 - 30 mins later, I hear a guy at another table ask about his food and say he doesn't have anymore time, and has to go. The person next to me who was there before me, the waitress comes out with a bag "was your order to go?" he says "no"! read more

Visiting Detroit and stayed at the Marriott Southfield. I had dinner at this restaurant which is in the hotel. I need to qualify this because this is the only reason I ate at this restaurant is because of the convenience. I order the taco salad based on a recommendation from a diner. It was pretty okay. The ground beef (taco meat) was not seasoned - it was such a disappointment. The saving grace was the spicy ranch sauce and the tortillas. Both of these made the meal better. Not greasy at all I saw other people get club sandwich and they are huge so even the menu is small but the quality is not bad if you don't want to venture out to Southfield to get food late at night since Southfield is not the nicest town in Detroit read more

I stopped by the restaurant/bar around 6:30pm on a Tuesday after flying in from Chicago. I was in the mood for a club sandwich had and they did not disappointed. Sandwich was excellent and the staff warm and friendly. It work about 15 minutes which was fine as I wasn't in a hurry. Everyone else eating there appeared happy with their food. read more

We tried this place as we were staying on this hotel. Ambiance was good, it was quiet and they had both a full bar and restaurant. Food was excellent! We ordered the cheese dip with pretzels and they were delicious! I ordered the Bayou Shrimp Pasta and the dish was of a good size, cream tomato sauce was very tasty and it had plenty of shrimp. The only pitfall was service. Our server disappeared for more than 10 min every now and then and we had to call other servers to get us drinks or additional items. Located in the Southfield Marriott, this restaurant has potential. Right now it is in a temporary location in the hotel because the new design of the restaurant is under construction. It was clean, welcoming, and convenient. Our waiter was helpful and courteous, it just so happen we were the only customers in the restaurant. I ordered the Fish and Chip (but with Onion Rings) and my husband ordered the Club Sandwich. My dinner was tasty. The fish and onion rings were crunchy and the portions were enough to share. I thought the food was delicious and the service was lovely. I had a blue moon, a Caesar salad and an appetizer platter. The presentation of the platter was beautiful which I actually wasn't expecting because there's another photo on Yelp that's less than flattering. Anyway the chef delivered the food to me personally and it was hot and flavorful; I loved that the sliders had sautéed onion it was SO good. And everyone who works here is remarkably nice!! Now let's be honest $10 for a Caesar salad is a little annoying, but it was a damn good salad and I really enjoyed my meal overall. read more

When I spend $40 on chicken wings and fries, I would really feel a lot better about it if the service was above gas station level accommodation (employees inattentive, slow, uninterested) and a more reasonable explanation for a 100% upcharge to add parmesan cheese and truffle oil to fries. Neither are notably expensive items so I felt ripped off. I don't mind splurging for a meal every now and then but if I'm going to splurge I want my money's worth. The chef was accommodating when I asked for more wings because some of them were... I'm not exaggerating or kidding- the size of a silver dollar. How does a chicken even fly with a wing that small? I'm still confused to this day. But I appreciate the chef making it right at least. That was my first and last time giving this place my money. I regret it. I think they just take advantage because there's nothing walking distance from the two hotels and doordash costs about the same. Was the meal good? Yeah but not $40 good.. not even close. I would have paid $16 max. That's being generous because food costs have gone up since COVID. If there were a Burger King next door I would have chosen it over this place instead. They need to humble themselves and get real with these prices cause this ain't it. If the meal would have been reasonably priced, the service good - And I wouldn't have had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the wings situation to be corrected (which resulted in cold fries) it would have been a 4/5 star review, but instead I regretted the entire experience and wasted a significant amount of money that I could have spent somewhere else. read more

The service here is horrible , they won't answer the phone and when they do the customer service is horrible . A couple nice girls but there were two who's names I will be getting and reporting to corporate. When I finally got my food and took it back to eat , my salmon was still pink (way uncooked ) and my wings left me sicker then could be . Had to cancels meetings next day read more

We go out regularly with my wife's cousin and her husband and they had heard good things about this restaurant. It is inside the Southfield Marriott and is nicely decorated. We were 1 of 2 tables occupied and our server Sam said it varies on how busy they are. As a restaurant inside a nice hotel it is good but as a destination restaurant maybe not so. We had drinks and they were reasonably priced. Menu was totally different than what was online so not sure why but several people had pre- selected meals not available when we got there. That said the food was good. I had fish and chips, my wife a club sandwich, her cousin a portobello mushroom pie and her husband crab cakes. The portions were generous and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was good but took a while for meals to come out which seems strange with only 1 or 2 tables occupied. I wouldn't come here if I wasn't staying in the hotel. The restaurant was pretty empty at 6:30 and the hotel was full. It took over 40 mins for my entree which was recommended by the waiter. I had the short ribs and they were just OK. The portion of short rib was small and sitting on a giant mound of mashed potatoes. The plate was literally twice as hot as the mashed potatoes. Not sure how that happens. Lastly the chairs are a really weird height compared to the tables (too low). I'm 6'2 and it was weird, shorter people must have to reach up to the table? read more

I have eaten here twice this week. Chicken rice soup was very good. Hamburger was not bad. I'm rating this lower than I might have primarily because of the painstakingly slow service. After asking several times we finally went to the bar to get our own glasses of water. To be fair, the server did comp us one round of our beer and wine to make up for the service. I'm staying the night in this hotel and didn't want to drive very far for a place to eat. So, I decided to stay right here and try them out. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Club with fries. The food was great ! Compliments to the chefs! My waiter was Thierry and he was very professional and friendly! I was here on business and I had the cheeseburger the first night with fries. I ordered it medium rare and it was pretty tasty. It came out more medium but was still very good. The fries were average but not bad. The second night there I had the wings. They were very tasty. Breaded and cooked just right with a lot of meat on the bone. The ranch that came with it was excellent. The service was very good. Waiter was also the bartender that night and was very courteous and nice. I would go here again. read more
