I love that this spot is open late! There is plenty of comfortable seating. The service time was decent. I loved the Belgian hot chocolate. However, we ordered three and for some reason the be tasted like very different. We all taste tested it and agreed. However, they did take the drink back and correct it. The lava cake was great. We all shared it because it was so rich in flavor. None of us had that much of a sweet tooth. My biggest issue was with the menu. They have a TON of options which is great. However it was hard for me to read the tiny print. There were no hard copies available Le to look at so I stood there struggling. The workers saw me struggling and I even mentioned it to them and they didn't offer any assistance. Later I sat at the table and saw there was a QR code for the menu. Let them know what happened and they sent their own driver free of charge to my home with what I wanted and more! Wow. This pace was amazing and it was EXTREMELY clean! The chocolate fountains were very clean and there was a glass display to cover them. Prices are pretty average, and what you'd expect to pay for these types of sweets. The establishment is large and spacious and restrooms are also very clean. The chocolate was delicious, yummier than regular chocolate. I will be coming here more. I just recommend looking at the menu first because they have a large menu. To start off this review I would just like to add that the prices are ridiculous for the terrible customer service they have. The 4 foot man behind the counter is very rude. We tried to ask him a question and he ignored us and walked away then came back and started taking the order of the lady behind us (who he knew because they were laughing and making conversation loudly when we were Infront of her) who pushed us out of the way to cash out. He was very rude and didn't even acknowledge us when we tried to order. When we confronted him about it he laughed and asked if we wanted to order as if we were there to just stand around. After driving by this place a ton and seeing the giant chocolate fountains at the counter, I was intrigued to give it a try. Pretty solid dessert spot! We ordered the Lotus waffle and the Melt N Dip crepe. The waffle was amazing: super decadent, a delicious taste of the melty cookie butter in each bite. The Lotus ice cream on top was delicious. The crepe was also great but the amount of chocolate sauce on top made it a little too rich for my liking (though, if you're someone who loves chocolate you would probably disagree!) The serving sizes are quite generous so you could easily share one item among 2 or even 3 people. I'm interested to come back and try the gelato and some of the other items on their expansive menu. I think my favorite part of my trip here was watching them unbox a Sams Club pastry and setting it out on display. i got here when they first opened and watched the girl behind the counter eat a piece of cake while crumbs were falling out of the sides of her mouth as she was trying to close her mouth but was laughing by herself. after trying the lava cake, i knew that it was a frozen lava cake that had been microwaved and topped with microwaved chocolate to mask the frozen taste. $17...? you must be out of your mind. also, the fruit is purchased from dearborn fresh! i saw the bags with the Dearborn Fresh logo. I would not spend more than $5 on that lava cake or anything they serve here. they are trying to portray a 5 restaurant at 2 service and quality of goods. Great place! Found it while driving on Ford and couldn't wait to try. They did not disappoint. The melted chocolate they pour on top is high quality and crepe size is very generous. By far the worst crepes I have ever had in my entire life, and when I say worst believe me WORST. The crepes are cold, they charge so much for a horrible crepe, the items they have there aren't worth a quarter of what they charge and that's me being generous. They don't fill the crepe, they put the chocolate just on top of it. DO NOT TRY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If I can give this place less than 1 star I would. read more
