In a previous life this was a local to scare away any strangers, today however it is a youth-friendly, trendy, dark uber bar with restaurant attached. As far as the food goes they do a mean Caesar salad. As for the bar itself, the drinks ain't cheap but the company is convivial. Down the front, the low rise seating (chairs and couches) lends itself to conversation. In the main body of the pub, it's barstools and high tables all the way though you are closer to the bar. Weekends are noisy in a good way, with a DJ playng to the crowd and if you've spare cash in your pocket then there are paintings on display for sale. Not sure about the wall mounted rugby jerseys though - an anomaly in Drumcondra.

A great spot in Drumcondra to meet with friends and have some pints. Food is good but it's not their greatest asset. I had a nice meal, beef curry, portions were were very generous.

Great music on Thursday evenings, drinks only €3.50! Sad that they have no music on Saturday eves.

Good selection of big-brand beers (standard ones) and a very good burger. I have only been there once, but the interior is nice and the staff is friendly. Looked that way as if it would attract a more younger crowd.

When we walked in the place was super cute and the staff was very welcoming. The waiter was super friendly and was joking around with us. The prices are unbelievable. They have specials until 7pm which include a drink. I had the Guiness pie and it was the best thing I've had here so far. This place is a must if you are here in Dublin.

Good meat! Fries could be a little better, still I would order this again.

Visiting Dublin for just a few days, I stopped here as I just arrived at lunch time. Food is very good and portions are fair compared to price. Service is good, and so is the atmosphere. TVs and WiFi are available to keep you entertained.

Great pub. I've been coming here for years. Always a fun crowd and the food is good quality pub grub and it has a reasonable price tag too.

“The pint of Guinness is great, and they also do pitcher specials starting at €10 allowing you to add their spicy chicken wings for a mere €5, so 3pints and a bowl of chicken wings for €15!”

My husband and I stopped by for dinner and I ordered a caesar salad and their fish chowder. The caesar was great but my gosh the fish chowder and accompanying brown bread rocked my socks. So, much so, that I did what I never do--I revisited this spot more than once on the same trip (so many places to explore I almost never do this!). That fish chowder is craveable. They do live music on occasion as well and so we were able to enjoy that while sipping our Guinness. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. They aren't as small as they look at first glance, on one of our visits, we sat upstairs which has a second dining area. Amazing! Get to it!

Had to excuse ourselves from the table multiple times to freshen drinks. The food was good. Once again, absolute star was the Buffalo Wings! Ireland? I mean what??? Perfectly cooked, sauced nicely, just spectacular! The band was playing a mix and of Irish Music and American Rock songs played to Irish tunes. Very fun and well engaged with the crowd. The restaurant itself is cozy and very warm. A great night was had by all!
