One of my favorites and must have items on the menu!! Fast and efficient with that culinary flare! If you haven't tried Hurricane Kitchen... you're missing out!

We recently had The Hurricane Kitchens food truck come to my place of employment and provide their curbside service. The service and food were both incredible. Everyone here was extremely pleased with what they ordered and are excited to order from them again. If you have a chance to check out The Hurricane Kitchens food truck do yourself a favor and check them out.

Duck Confit Burger. It was okay.

Review on the Duck Confit Burger. $10 I personally love duck meat but I think they put too much of the seasoning to taste the duck. I mean the seasoning was good but maybe too much for my liking. The seasoning tasted like sweet bbq with a lot of herbs added in. It was defiantly a new interesting taste. Because I'm a very textural food type of person, I wish there was some crunch aspects to the burger. It just tastes all mush. Lastly I would have given the burger a 3 star but I found a huge sharp bone in the burger. Luckily I didn't stab myself while eating. I just wanted to say that the burger wasn't bad, maybe just not my type of burger. Maybe I should have picked something else on the menu.

Duck confit. Also took some sriracha from another food truck - it tasted really good with both the sandwich and the slaw. :)

Don't be fooled by the name -- this is not a food truck selling tropical goods. Expect instead some classy street food with a European twist. I've actually never heard of them before LA's museum free-for-all day. They weren't my first choice out of about 12 food trucks, but I'm glad I took a chance on them! SERVICE There were only two workers at the time, and they actually took a really long time to take orders and make the food. I don't think they were expecting so many customers. I was suuuuuper hungry, so of course I was being really grumpy while waiting in line. But the cashier was being really nice, and my boyfriend reminded me that the cashier and cook are both probably very stressed out as well. So, for the work that they were doing and the taste of the food...the wait was worth it! FOOD I really loved what my order came with because they had such unique twists on ordinary dishes. * Duck Confit Sandwich (4/5) Sesame bun, melt-in-your-mouth duck confit, basil pesto, honey fennel sauce, and herbs. Yes, you should be salivating now! This sandwich was soooo flavorful, and my picky boyfriend especially loved it. It was his first time eating duck too! * Jalapeno Cole Slaw (4/5) Cole slaw - heavy mayo flavor + jalapeno = winner. Loved this, it was such a perfect side dish for the sandwich! Conclusion: If you're not sure whether or not you should take a chance on this food truck because you've never heard of it before....you should.

Lunch truck in front of Los Angeles Metro courthouse turned up my afternoon! Best #foodtruck!!

I'm typically anxious about food trucks because you never know what you'll get. And I'm hard on food in general. But wow! The barbecue salmon sandwich cooked medium well, and cole slaw. Perfect. There is nothing else to say. At all. A nice little spicy, near Jamaican jerk kick to it. Not too hot and not too mild. Just right. Reminds me of eating a good sandwich from back home in the South where folks aren't afraid of a little extra pepper! This was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Yes, I said that.

Burger

I attended a wedding and the hurricane kitchen was catering. The tapas was phenomenal! Highly recommend the burger and flatbreads!

Pulled pork + spicy cole slaw looking good together

A food truck parked on Hollywood this time around, I wanted to see if this was more Hurrican or more Hurrican't ... bad joke sorry Love the unique menu items and fully stocked beverage section. Some food trucks have few menu and beverage options and it feels kind of sad because it feels like either they are an up and comer fighting their way to the top or they are down and out. When you see a truck like Hurricane Kitchen or Tokyo Doggie Style, they feel like established entities that will stick it out and provide a good sense of consistency. The lady that took my order was nice. Anyways, I got the pulled pork salad. Option of either the cole slaw or side salad. Go with the cole slaw because its unique. It's also a little spicy for those who love a kick. The pork slider i ordered wasn't my style ... sweet and fatty. If I went back, it'd be for the sriracha chicken. I would try another item here to give it another go if its something I look forward to or not in the future.

My new favorite spot! I just had the birria ramen and asada tacos - so delicious!…read more The tacos had great flavor, no nerve, and weren't too oily. They also fry the tortillas a little bit which is always a touch I appreciate. The birria ramen was amazing. Hot (not spicy) filling, and super flavorful. The birria was tender and juicy. I kept expecting to get to only broth, but kept getting pleasantly surprised to find more ramen. The cooking area looked very clean. The seating area was clean too but I noticed a few stains on the table I sat at. Minor nitpick. I was getting takeout anyway so it wasn't a problem. I will definitely become a regular. If for whatever reason the food doesn't sit well, I'll update my review!

It was sprinkling that day and this patio area was covered but had openings. So I had to get a hoodie and blankets to stay warm. We were the only ones there so surprised that it took awhile but I'll wait for good food. We started with chips and salsa, which were really crispy and freshly made. They also gave us a tray of three sauces and napkins. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla. Great portion and not light on the meat. We also had kiss Siberia plates three of those and we shared this came with five Quesabirria tacos. I'd say about the size of a street taco it came with of course the consume. It was delicious crispy lots of meat. My daughter got the kids quesadilla also a nice serving we drank water, but my one son got Horchata and that was fire.

After getting back to my chair and getting the splinters out, the wind whipped up big time. We decided it was time to go. So did everyone else. I decided to park and wait out the traffic. 3 hours later, it hadn't abated, and we needed food. We faced the whipping wind into the parking lot, where a taco truck, a pop-up stir-fry stand, and Heavenly Hotdogs lay in waiting. After seeing the taco truck guys eating hotdogs, we decided to choose Heavenly. I got the Banh Mi dog, which was dressed with pickled veggies, sriracha, and cilantro. I would have loved a lot more of the veggies, so I threw a bunch of onions on top with some mustard. Best of all worlds. An ice-cold can of Diet Coke and a little bag of Cheetos rounded out the feast. I'll definitely stop by if our paths should be lucky enough to cross again.
