Trish at Paso Catering is serving up delicious to-go family meals. We ordered the Beef medallion meal with Ceasar salad. It was outstanding! The Beef medallions were flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection - able to be cut with a fork. The root veggies and mashed potatoes were so very well seasoned. The Ceasar salad - (complete with what appeared to be homemade croutons) - had more of a classic dressing than the common creamy dressings - and it was also delicious. The 4 person meal was more than enough for our family of 6 (2 adults - 4 children) - which in and of itself was a wonderful, unexpected surprise. The price point of $65 was more than reasonable - especially taking into account the generous servings. Another pleasant surprise was that the food travelled exceptionally well. She sent it with us at a temperature which insured that despite a 30 minute drive home, it was ready to plate and eat immediately. We will most definitely be repeat customers! read more

I recently spoke with owner Trish over the phone, after sending her an email requesting a quote for food for a big event my husband and I are arranging this summer. We are planning a large birthday event in August and wanted various Hors D'oeuvres to be served before dinner. She wanted to know all of details of the party; the various Hors D'oeurvres we'd chosen, and the location of the event, and how many people etc. During our conversation I found her to be pushy, bossy and controlling, and then she started dictating to me how many waiters I would have at our event. I made it very clear to her (in the nicest way possible) that 2 would be plenty, but her tone was off. I held my tongue, and tried to be pleasant and compromising but there was an air about her that made me feel uncomfortable. She said she would email me a quote in the next day or so, and hung up quite quickly, which I thought was very odd. It didn't leave me with a very good feeling. After a week of not receiving an email from her, my husband called her only to be told by her that she wasn't available on the date we'd requested. She mentioned to my husband that she'd emailed me to let me know. This was absolutely not true. She didn't email me at all. All this effort, and conversations with her about which hors d'oeurves, location, planning etc. thinking that it was all arranged, while waiting for her quote, only to be disappointed and let down. Just based on this experience alone, and her strange tone with me, I wouldn't recommend this company for your event. I understand that she's been given very good reviews for her food 10/10, and I'm sure that's the case, but she gets 0/10 for her attitude and for blowing us off. I'm guessing that she didn't like me being assertive with her when she was being bossy. Too bad. We have however found a much better company, with people who are actually polite. read more

Yesterday was my birthday and my husband of almost 40 years always takes me out to a special place for dinner every year without fail. With this Covid-19 pandemic going on and the stay home order we knew we had to home. My husband looked on the internet and found a company called Paso Catering he saw that yelp had great reviews for them and when we went to the website we were reading that they are offering to home deliver meals for people right to their front door they have a nice menu with a few different choices. The website also stated that they are following safe food preparation and they listed what it was they are doing to keep us safe. So we felt safe enough to order. We ordered two of the meals they offer, the tri-tip and the pasta dish. My husband decided that it would be nice so we have enough food for the week. The tri-tip and the pasta meals were so good. The tri-tip meat was done to perfection and the flavor was out of this world. The pasta meal was done perfectly also and it has lots of melted cheese. My husband loves meat but not as much of a fan of pasta so I was shocked when he went back for 3 helpings tonight. All in all it was a great experience. The food arrived hot and a few minutes earlier than the agreed upon time. I would use them anytime and recommend them to anyone. read more

I engaged Paso Catering for two nights for a group of us visiting the wine country: one night with assorted appetizers and the second with a full Paella dinner. The food was delicious. I especially recommend the Pesto Torta; it's great the next day, if there are leftovers, on English Muffins or bagels. The paella was outstanding with generous amounts of shellfish, sausage and chicken, as was the polenta with pesto. The bbq'd turkey was moist, pan gravy yummy, green bean cassarole, fruit compote, salad, homemade rolls, pumpkin mousse pie, all delicious. Today is my first wedding anniversary and as we were talking with my wife about how wonderful our wedding was, we immediately recognized that the amazing food cooked by Trish was at the center of the evening. We went to taste the food a few weeks ahead of the ceremony and we were not only impressed with Trish's cooking style and careful selection of seasonal ingredients, but we also enjoyed her company. I brought some samples of my own cooking, and some wine that we were going to serve at the wedding, so that she has a better idea of what we enjoy. She was very receptive and attentive. The tasting, instead of being a chore, was a wonderful hangout. At the day of the wedding she showed up as scheduled, and worked her magic in the background making everything so smooth and stress-free... Trish did my wedding back in January. Absolutely deserves all five stars and then some. She is a wonderful lady, bomb (I don't use this word often, not even sparingly, but now in all seriousness... I looked up caterers in the area and went with Trish at Paso Catering for a few reasons (1) The Yelp reviews were impeccable (2) Trish (owner) answered the phone herself at 8:30 in the morning on a Saturday (3) She was pleasant to talk to, knowledgeable about the area, flexible about menu options, and priced extremely well. Trish catered a buffet lunch for 40+ at one of the wineries, and the next day provided picnic box lunches for our group, which lunched at three different wineries. We recently enjoyed Trish's efforts at a friend's wedding. We were so fortunate to have Trish prepare and serve all of the scrumptious food! Her hordervers table was incredibly ornamented with fresh fruit, cheeses, salami's and nuts! It looked as good as it tasted. As we progressed to dinner, the service by Trish and her team was so well organized, which helped to make the event that much more enjoyable. The prepared dishes were roasted Tri-Tip, decadent Potatoes Au Gratin and succulent vegetables which were all a hit. My son was so totally in love with her potatoes that he stayed in the food line to sneak more (and neglected his Groom's Man Duties)! To wrap up the event, Trish did an outstanding job cutting and serving the wedding cake!
