I've ordered the Carmel Ribbon Crunch with a extra shot and no whip for months and THIS location ALWAYS seem to mess it up. You either get whip or no extra shot, never your correct order. Ive seen cars drive off at the drive thru window w/o drinks and customers walk out due to poor service and wait times. I've been the only car in drive thru ordering 2 olain grande Pike coffee's and had to wait almost 10 minutes but could see employees inside talking!! Unacceptable. On Saturday 9/19 my fiancé and I walked in against my better judgement (but he wanted to give them one LAST try). YEP just as I suspected. They were slow, talking (gossiping) and playing around behind the counter. The employee who wears glasses and black hair(not brown) is SLOW and the worse of the lot. Two customers who ordered after us got their orders b4 us. I told my finace' lets get a refund and to the other location next to HEB(Midkiff). Nooo he wanted to stay. (Which he regretted ;) 20 minutes later they called my name. I walk to the counter and was presented with what looked like 2 MILKSHAKES!! I was livid. When I asked for a refund the cashier gave me the refund then offered to make 2 new drinks for free. When we were given the 2 remakes, they were even whiter than the 1st two. They tasted like they put half a gallon of milk in them. I threw them in the trash and walked out. Never again. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Get it together Starbucks. You need to clean house with this current staff. Its a relatively new location...You will continue to loose business with them. Shame. Shame. SHAME!!!! Let me also mention I pass this location everyday and can count on 1 hand how many times Ive seen a line in drive-thru. Poor service and long wait times... for no reason.

Note: Before reading this post, understand that I am…read morereviewing the employee/costumer service, of Great American Cookies in midland not the locale itself. The wife & I were at the mall only to get a few cookies and when we walked up to the stand we were not greeted by a "hello" or "welcome" which at this time & age is pretty normal now. The demeanor of the employees was expressed by her body language & facial expressions. It was clear she did not want to be there. I always order a couple chocolate chip double doozies but this time they only had one. I asked the employee working the front, "do you have any more chocolate chip double doozies"? She said "No, we only have what's on display". This similar experience (on several occasions) happened(s) at the GAC booth at the Odessa mall. But, difference is, the girls working the counter there don't even ask, they have simply said, "give me a couple of minutes and I will make you one". It was clear the midland employee was not going to make any more cookies for me or anyone for that matter. I also ordered a chewy chocolate fudge supreme cookie that was not even edible. There was nothing "soft or chewy" about that cookie. I honestly believe it had been sitting out on the display all day. There was nothing fresh or soft about any of the cookies we took home. Unfortunately this is a negative review solemnly because of the employees working there not the store itself. We've never had any issues whatsoever with the Odessa store since that is the one we always go to. The employees at the Odessa store are always energetic, happy, and very friendly. They will accommodate our order even when they don't have it and are always willing to make anything we'd like upon request. Because of this, I refuse to go back to the midland store and purchase any cookies from there. It's unfortunate because this is the only dessert I get on the weekends. I will keep my business at the Odessa store since they've earned my business and keep earning it every time we walk in. I will do a separate post on the Odessa location since they deserve a great review! Great American cookies is a really good spot for sweets but only if you have good people behind the counter
