I've been a longtime customer of Main Squeeze and have always had positive experiences, which makes…read morethis even more difficult to write. On my birthday, I visited the Midland location with my daughter, who has a known peanut allergy. We clearly marked "PEANUT ALLERGY" on the order and verbally confirmed it with the employee. When the drink was handed to us, we were told it was allergen-free. Within 20 minutes of drinking it, my daughter experienced a severe allergic reaction. We had to administer an EpiPen and seek medical care. Afterward, I tasted the smoothie myself and it was clearly made with peanut. When we contacted the store, we were told they were aware of the incident and that a report had been filed, but there was little acknowledgment of the seriousness of what occurred. This was not a preference or dietary request--it was a clearly communicated, life-threatening allergy. This was not a minor mistake--this was a life-threatening situation that could have ended very differently. I am incredibly disappointed. What should have been a simple visit turned into a medical emergency. I hope this serves as a serious reminder of the responsibility that comes with preparing food for customers with allergies.

I just wanted something light, not too sweet, and healthy prior to heading out to the airport. This was the perfect choice. First off, the level of customer service to include a cup holder and wrap the cups in plastic wrap to ensure nothing falls over and spills is awesome. I've ordered other places before and they don't even think about that. Good job Pure Green team! The smoothies themselves were delicious. Super healthy, great ingredients, and I love that they use coconut water as a base since Midland's water is definitely not the best to say the least. Best part? Not too sweet. I'll definitely order from Pure Green again when I come back!

Having never been to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe preciously, I didn't know what it expect. (Based on…read morethe name), I figured they had a TON of different smoothies... Our daughter got a free smoothie coupon from school so we stopped there around 3:30pm after picking her up. I was a little shocked there were only 4 kids smoothie options to choose from: strawberry lime, strawberry banana, an orange one and a chocolate banana one. I scanned the menu for more smoothies but it seemed like there were a lot of food options and minimal smoothies. I actually never even found the adult smoothies in the menu board. We went through the drive through. There was one car in front of us and there was a bit of a wait (under 5 minutes). Employee was friendly. Peeked in and the interior looked really cool. Our daughter really enjoyed her smoothie.

This place is absolute trash. We ate here today for $70!!! Three small soups, king casserole with…read moretwo sides, drinks and premade dessert. The state of the place: dirty dishes on almost all table, dirty plates outside ON THE GROUND to feed stray cats (barf). The macaroni comes out of a Cisco style bag, I watched her take the plastic bag out of the heater, cut it open and put it in a pan... is their food off a food truck instead of "fresh made organic" in house stuff? The friendliness of the staff: the lady working the register was rude and could use a job in the back so she doesn't have to deal with customers. The black lady serving the food was nice. Do I feel any of these ladies used hygienic practices behind kitchen doors, no. Thankfully they wear gloves working the line. The food: the food was disgusting. I'm not going to lie. The soup was gross, can't describe the flavor (broccoli cheese). The tea (plain, unsweet) tasted like it was filtered through a cardboard box. The king casserole lacks seasoning. The macaroni and potatoes were completely cold and also taste of cardboard. The only things that were good were the carrot cake and the bottled Texas tea. Who knows if the carrot cake was made here or not. The seating: you can sit jammed into a small hallway area behind the food line, there are a few four tops and multiple two tops - good luck. We went to sit outside, with the option of two tables on a slope (one up by dirty dished cat food, mentioned above) and three off the slope with missing chairs or the second cat slop dish. A worker had one of the shaded tables taken so we took the cat slop table. All in all, would I take my grandmother here? Absolutely never. This is a slop shop and I'm disgusted. Should be shut down honestly. The grocery store could use the space and it would be an improvement.. even if it was dead space, it would be improved.
