First of all I love the atmosphere, and especially since they just play music in the background and don't blare it like a nightclub like some of their competitors around here do. The young men at the counter were absolutely awesome, polite, quick, smiling, informative and super helpful, as since I had never been there and wasn't familiar with their drink selection at all. It was my first time ordering an Einspanner. The couch is comfy. The table chairs are not padded as well as the fixed seating booth. It is easy maneuver in the booth. The plugs are low and limited compared to the chair count but sufficient. The contemporary interior design look great and the colors. I like that the seasonal design isn't over the top. There is a private corner too. The music isn't too loud. Mostly 2010s music. The parking and turn it is a bit disorienting if you're coming from SAM's club, but they're in the best spot of the shopping center when you do arrive. Me and my friend went to the Grind with our babies. We loved atmosphere, it was a little packed. However we got s good table to chill and drink some coffee. The only negative thing is there is no changing table. What a bummer!!! My coffee got cold because I was changing my baby in her stroller and they made me a new one at no charge. TLDR: an elevated coffee experience that's a welcome break from the big chain joints. Coffee shops are popping up all over the 432 these days, but this one isn't a big chain with a drive through window. Their menu is limited but focused, service is friendly, and beverage quality is superb. My wife got a brown sugar oat milk latte. The brown en sugar syrup tastes house made or at least very good quality. I'm not much of a flavored latte guy, but my wife loves these kind of drinks and she is very gruntled with what she was served. The flash brew looks more like iced tea than most iced or cold brew coffees, most likely because their using a lighter roasted Ethiopian bean and aren't brewing at concentrate strength. You catch the delicate nuances in this particular coffee, which is a welcome and refreshing break from some of the dark roasted cold coffees you find most other places. I wouldn't want any dairy in this. It's nearly perfect as-is. Even though I had the large flash brew, I got curious and ordered an espresso just to see how good a shot they pull. The espresso was complex, creamy and bright. I didn't ask what kind of coffee beans they're using because it's a busy Saturday morning but if you enjoy modern third-wave shots, they've got you covered.
