WOW!!! We loved this coffee so much! First of all, they have the sweetest, kindest baristas working here. Any questions you have, they are ready to answer. It's like, here we are, these two exhausted parents driving up to a new coffee place where we don't know the menu after dropping off my beautiful bonus kiddos, and here are these patient, fresh faced college kids just vibrant and ready to take our order and answer any questions we had about the food or coffee. It was just a really refreshing experience compared to feeling rushed at Starbucks. I got my usual decaf coffee with sugar and the husband tried a white chocolate latte (I forgot the name). The coffees were phenomenal. But the REALLY cool part was how they give you a free chocolate covered coffee bean on every single drink (even the smoothies, because, yes, we went back). We have also tried a muffin top, smoothie, and biscotti. I am serious when I say that everything is good here. I am just mad at myself that I had just bought more coffee for the house before discovering this wonderful place and buying it here instead! Tried my first human bean location, coffee and service was good but my main complaint is the baked goods are all a pre-packaged brand from Seattle. I had a couple bites of the stale pre packaged cookie and couldn't finish it it was so bad. Please source baked goods locally, even just state of Texas local if not midland/odessa local. Idk why a coffee shop would order pre packaged baked goods from that far away, people can buy that junk at the grocery store. read more

Today was my second visit to the Midland Texas location. My visit yesterday was fantastic. The barista that assisted me yesterday was fantastic. She provided absolute top-notch customer service, so I decided this would be my new coffee shop, since I'm new in town. However, my trip this morning was the absolute worst customer service that I've ever encountered in any restaurant, bar, coffee, shop, retail department store in my entire life, and I'm old! This chick did not say one single word to me with the exception of how much my transaction would be. It is as if I interrupted her. I don't know her name, she was heavyset and in my humble opinion, should not be working customer service. Even though I didn't get anything to drink here , my wife did. It was the first time I visited one of these sites and I had so many questions about the meaning of the name of the business as well as the products. Ordered a hot Vanilla latte 20oz for Wednesday morning. Came out VERY HOT burnt my palate. Once it cooled down for the next 10 min, I tried tasting it. There was strong burnt taste to it. I felt the coffee was too strong that I couldn't really taste vanilla in it. It has its caffeine so it worked for what it should do. I'm not sure if I would go back for a hot drink though. They also have frozen drinks that surpass any offerings from their Seattle based competition including The Granita which is a frozen espresso blend. All can be made with dairy milk, coconut or almond milk. My favorite is the 32 ounce Java Chip with some peppermint syrup and made with coconut milk. They have terrible training. Whoever the manager is there, is a failure. Everytime I go there, they don't know how to make a drink on the menu. I filled out a punch card of the same drink and every single time I have to tell them how to make it. I had to call and get the recipe from a location that knows what they are doing.
