We ordered an iced coffee, iced chai latte, hot latte, breakfast croissant, and a breakfast bagel with sausage and Gouda. The drive-thru attendant was super friendly and polite. She even said "Yes sir" after everything I said. The drive-thru menu was simple and easy to follow. The iced coffee was fresh, smooth, and very flavorful, with a rich taste similar to cold brew. The hot latte had a perfect balance of espresso and steamed milk, and the quality of the espresso was easy to notice. The breakfast bagel was the highlight. The everything bagel, melted Gouda, and flavorful sausage worked perfectly together. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I would definitely come back. read more

Stopped by while passing through town in March 2024. The shop is simple and the baristas were kind. I got an iced Ray Ray. It was sweet but pretty tasty. Cpl Ray's Coffee is a corner shop located in a small plaza in Andrews, TX. This small local business opened in memory of Cpl. Ray Michael Bevel who was killed in the line of duty in 2007. He graduated from Andrews High in 2003. There are additional locations in the nearby cities of Odessa and Midland. Their main offerings are lattes, espresso, iced coffee, organic iced tea, & frozen blended drinks. They offer dairy mix-ins as well as dairy alternatives. I highly recommend the "Ray Ray's Mocha." It's a concoction of "espresso, steamed milk, white chocolate and swirls of caramel." On a hot spring morning (5/9/2023), I tried it iced in a large cup. It was very flavorful espresso as I added an extra shot. For food, they offer an assortment of pastries, but I was most interested in their sausage biscuit. So glad I got it because it hit the spot and was not too greasy. I didn't see a "puppuccino" on the drive-thru menu, but they do have one. Instead, I asked for a small cup of ice with whipped cream on top for my brother's pitbull who I had just taken to the vet. She did awesome, so I had to spoil her. She loved it. Surprisingly, altogether my total was under $11. The young lady at the drive-thru register was very friendly. Also, they worked quickly to get through several vehicles ahead of me. On our trip we decided to visit the town we lived in for 3 years while we're in west Texas. Andrews. We loved living here and I had only been to this place one before. We opted to go inside we wanted to sit and chat while we treated ourselves. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming here and is a great hang out spot. We were the only inside customer and I think they had one drive thru person while we were there. There were about 5 girls behind the counter. We were greeted and asked what we would like. We explained that one of had never been here and we'd like a few minutes. We then said we'd like to order and another girl stepped over to take our order. We snagged a table to wait and I made a quick pit stop in the bathroom. We sat at the table chatting waiting for someone to bring our drinks or announce they were ready. Neither happened. Instead we heard several girls talking about how they couldn't wait to leave very loudly so I started to look around thinking they were waiting on us to leave but we never got our drinks. I found them sitting out of view on the order pickup counter I guess and feeling like we were holding them up we left. I mean we had waited over 10 minutes. The door said they were not closing when we left but we were made to feel unwanted. The drinks were great. Both Frappuccinos, one vanilla cream and one vanilla late. The cinnamon roll was top notch and my big chocolate cookie was very good. All enjoyed at the park at a table. Food great / Service lacking. read more

Novelty coffee shop, sorta like Starbucks, but better! The drinks are a bit on the pricy side, but it's totally worth it to stop by! In fact, I live in California but I make a point to swing by Ray's everytime I go through Andrews! The shop is small and cute. Has a drive through. I normally don't do reviews but as a vet I was highly disappointed when my girl and I walked in for the first time and no one greeted us. we walkEd up to the front And We didn't see anyone at the cash register and so we sat at the bar and waited on one of the girls to at least acknowledge our existence.
